With a heavy sigh, she rolled on to her back again, now that there was distance between her and Seisuke since it was slightly more comfortable. Reviewing her memories, she tried to think of where to begin. "You must first understand that where I come from, having the ability to use magic is rare, where as here it seems to flow through nearly everyone and in lieu of magic, another source of energy that makes a person extraordinary.

Everything I can do is considered unnatural to those people I had known when I was young. I was fortunate in the sense that with my master, they never feared what I could do, though they were often surprised." inhaling deeply, it was clear the next part was not something she wanted to talk about. "This .. I do not know how to explain well.

My master is a Dragon Rider .. Dragon and Rider become one, body and mind. Though there is no telling why, I too was able to share a similar bond with them. Having shared my mind ... well, there were times that those we visited would consider Brijtskular to be a monster, sharing a mind, we would share our experiences. When disrespectful people would speak to her in that way, it often felt as if they were speaking to me that way also. The fact that I was even with her sometimes caused people to fear me. Not everyone is able to speak with a dragon, especially not as extensively as I .."

pausing again, this time she stifled a yawn. It was terribly boring for her to go over her own memories, it also caused her to think of her master but that she felt it were like bragging or uninteresting for others. "Where as you are accepting of other's ability to use magic or other forces, many I have been around have not. And especially being able to do anything more than what is expected is feared and unwelcome. In training, I often found the ability to do things that were unheard of, such as create a shield around myself .. which is part of the reason I never was trained how to fight with weapons. The Elves tried training me, it was one over confident young male who felt it necessary to use hurtful words instead of moving forward. The series of events that followed were most distressing. It was the first time I found I could cast a shield, I did not know how to dispel the effect, I was accused of cheating and practicing witchcraft .. I did not know what to do so I ran away from them but they followed until I found Brijtskular and she took me from there and stayed with me until I was calm once more."

She adjusted how she lay again, feeling slightly uncomfortable, but felt as if she were about to sleep again. "Before I say more, I wish to know if I am wasting my breath."

Now were going somewhere. No you arent wasting your breath. Though if you developed a negative view of your abilities cause of people missunderstanding your abilities. Thats what i see. But please continue i would like to hear more.*he said as he removed the tube the liquid entered her body to its entirity. Now he seated facing her listening*

"True, I do fear myself and what I can do as a result of others fearing me, fearing Brijtskular, as they had." she paused, watching Seisuke as he removed whatever that was from her arm. Looking at him, sorrow and apology were written all over her face. She did not take pride in having said such rude things to him earlier and to be boring him with her history now. Turning her eyes to the ceiling, she inhaled deeply and continued. "Please, if I speak of these things for too long, let me know.

When I was young, I could use magic for any whim. Often I would not even realize that I had used magic for something until all was said and done. On one hand, you could say it was lack of control, the other hand you could interpret it as natural, instinct if you will .. just as natural as crying when one is sad, I could conjure, remove, alter and manipulate the world around me as I saw fit. Being so young, I knew no boundaries, no sense of right and wrong. My master worked with me to understand the world and where my place was in it. Still, there are many answers that I seek. I am human .. though other humans possess the ability to use magic, none in the region that I was raised have anything remotely similar to myself. To confuse matters more, the line was blurred even more for me when I met a completely separate group of magic peoples and learned their magic as well. I found the differences between the two magics most intriguing. Wanting to learn more, I continued traveling, until stopping here.

Well that is not entirely true, I suppose. After leaving my master I nearly lost my mind. Having shared our minds for years, to leave my master .. was to lose a part of who I am. Two parts, to be precise. Can you imagine such a thing? Two thirds of what makes you whole, gone. I spent months recovering from the emptiness enough to move forward."

With a heavy sigh, she stopped again. Thinking over everything, over her experiences .. she realized it was so much more difficult in the moment. Now she felt that she were doing nothing more than whining, which she did not like to allow herself to do.

"Every persons experiences in life are different. Thinking back, I do not know why I think this way most times. Though I read something once that summarizes .. " she closed her eyes and concentrated for a moment, remembering the words as they were written.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same." Marianne Williamson

"Instead of testing my limits, I set my limits. I may break the limits if there is necessity .. but I often do not agree it is a necessity to break them, to push myself in different ways. To me, it is illogical." she paused again, now feeling completely weary of listing to herself.

thats is something we both agree and differ. While you set limits to prevent yourself to go chaotic. I put mine to set a standard to know if im capable of self-control i push myself to the limit cuz 1 i want myself to be ready for anything 2 to not grow rusty 3 and to be able protect. -he then took a sip of tea'-You have a virtue and yet you hinder yourself you may never know what good you could do

"I see." she said simply. Inhaling deeply, she found she were too tired to go on for the moment. Twisting herself so she could see Seisuke again, she asked quietly; "Is there anything you need? I believe sleep will overcome me again soon."

"Very well. Wake me if you need anything." she said this softly, followed by a great yawn. After a moment, her eyes fluttered shut and she soon was asleep.

Appearing just outside the house with Reeve and Kain nearby, she looked at her front door, which then slowly swung open. Pursing her lips, she considered Reeve's question. "I am afraid to answer that question. I do not know what would be acceptable to say .. right now I would like for you to be bandaged else I fear the worst for you. Please, are you able to walk a few steps? If not, I will come up with another solution." she said softly. There were about 15 steps between where they were and the front door, including 2 steps for the porch. She worried it may be too strenuous for him, if it were, she would create a dolly for him to rest on and be moved.

"Whatever you have to say is acceptable..." Reeve said as he took a deep. Putting his hand on his wound he pushed himself to his feet and started to limp towards the direction of the door. He coughed a bit, bringing up some blood, but managed to keep the noise down as to not alert Ziven.

Kain followed behind Reeve, making it so if he fell it would catch him. It worried for its master, but did not admit such a thing.

Though he acted as if nothing were wrong, she saw that he was in worse condition than she originally had thought. Placing one hand on the small of his back, she wrapped the arm on his uninjured side around her and held his hand to her shoulder. She did not care if he were larger than she was, if he could not make it, she would not stand there helpless and watch him fall. With this in mind though, she prepared herself to slow his decent with magic as she knew she may not have the strength to catch him on her own. "It may be awkward, but lean on me if you find you are feeling worse, I can take it." she said softly, but focused on the path ahead of them, not wanting him to see that the concern in her eyes had turned to worry and a little sadness.

"I am fine... really. A couple of banadages, a good healing... at most I have to burn the wound closed..." The bleeding began to worsen a bit from the limping, and he was sure that if he were not blind things would be going blurry by now. Soon they reached the steps, Reeve having managed to walk the whole way. He chuckled a bit and said, "Could you tell me when to step up... I can't focus right now..."
PostPosted: Tue Feb 06, 2007 6:58 pm

"Yes, of course. Two steps up ..." she paused waiting for the right moment. Raising her right foot on to the first step, then repeating for the second.
"Here .. and one more step there is a small bump on the frame of the door." she said firmly. Just before they reached the door, she slid out from under his arm, watching his feet and holding his hand to her shoulder still as she twirled in front of him, taking a few steps backwards. With her other hand, she created a bed for him to rest on in the living room, just to the right of the door, so he could lay upon it immediately, she could move it later. "There is a bed on your right to rest on." she would not leave his side until she knew he was resting safely on the bed.

Reeve followed her directions carefully, then slumped onto the bed. he had no strength to move anymore, not that he really need to. He chuckled slightly as Kain entered the room. "Kain, do you remember how you described... death to me?" Reeve said as he pulled off his mask. A smile was plastered on his face. "I... don't think I understand what you ment..." He chuckled again, both of the wound had gotten bigger since he had walked on it.

Kain tilted its head. "I take it all you see is darkness still..."

Reeve sighed slightly, though his smile did not fade. "Unforetunately..."

"What do you mean?" she asked numbly, trying to keep him talking. Very quickly she moved around the room, setting her glasses on a table, she wouldn't need them for this and they would only annoy her by moving down her nose. She then went to a small closet where there were several potions, poultice, bandages and other things for healing. Returning to Reeve's side, she set these things on a table that she moved to the side of the bed also. Her hands trembled slightly but she was focused on the task at hand.

Cleaning some of the blood from the wound, she tried putting some of the poultice for healing on it, just a bit though, in case the wound would reject anything for healing it.
"Does that hurt?"

Reeve was quite once again, not wanting to speak anymore. All he wanted to do was sleep, but knew what would happen if he did. Suddenly something touched the wound. At first it seemed to help, but suddenly he felt a cearing pain. More blood flowed from the wound as the cut began to open more. Suddenly scriptures and symbols began to from along his arm, overtaking it. A small blast of energy suddenly shot from his hand and destroyed the bottle which held the poultice.

Kain pushed Ziven back, away from Reeve for a moment. "You need to burn the gash closed... His body is trying to protect him from the pain. It blasted four Magi to peices wihtout my master wanting it to. Give it a minute, then burn the wound with magik." Its voice was commanding and somewhat frightening.

Reeve began to calm himself, though the symbols did not disappear. Despite all the pain he felt, his smile did not leave him. His eyes showed all that he felt, but he had trained is face so well in the art of hiding emotions that it showed nothing.
