~Truinthil didnt even see the attack coming and was suddenly thrown from the shadows and slammed against a nearby wall. His eyes buldged wide and for a moment, an emotion filled his face that none of the BC had ever seen before. Pure panic. He tried to retaliate then, sending a full forced attack at Draeken. This attack consited of a massive blend of every element, even Spirit. The resulting beam was like liquid fire and seemed to burn the very air it moved through as it headed for Draeken's chest. If it were to hit the man, Draeken would simply cease to exist and everyones eyes would have a white bar from the brightness of this beam across their field of vision. It was an obvious last ditch effort, for Truinthil feared to use this attack. Even on Draeken.~

Not so much as a flicker of his eye was seen on Draeken's face as the attack came for him. There was another sense of movement and the beam split in two, one would shoot past Slayer and his friends while the other off in the opposite direction. Where it had touched, there would be holes that hadnt been burned, but seemed to have been erased from existance. As if they had never existed.
Again there was a sense of movement, but this one was the result of the first of those unseen helpers of Draeken's repeatedly bashing Truinthil against the wall, as many as fifteen times. Draeken would begin to move forward after the final blow, holding up a small black orb that seemed to further take away the light and promote darkness. "I'm sure you remember this Truinthil. You know what it does and because of that, now know what I want." His voice was cold and seemed to chill the very air. There was no doubt in that voice that he would get what he had come for. He would have Truinthil and do to him whatever it was that orb would do.

Atha rolled her eyes at Slayer, he was biding his time and she knew it. When Axl spoke she snapped her fingers and small green flames appeared at his feet and seemed to jump at him, they'd feel hotter then any fire he'd felt before. She snapped her fingers again and they were gone, but would leave a nasty burn latter on. "Oh, Burn" She said sarcastically. Her eyes were on Truinthil and Draeken. She threw up an arm against the bright light of Truinthils attack. What ever had him so freaked out was something she should be warry of as well. Her eyes rested on the black stone in Draeken's hand. This was something that peaked her curiousity.

Axl: *blinked at the flame and looked to his burned trousers* dudette..... that's just not right stare *Axl himself would have no real burns on him. Years of pyrokinesis training had led to this* And they call me dumb.... then she goes and uses fire on me.
Twi: I don't need the reminiscence right now Axl. *Twi looked to D and T, then turned to Slayer* Slayer, I'd rather not stay here any longer than necessary.....
Slayer: Agreed. Just wait a moment
Twi: Oh... and it's nice to see you again.
Slayer: Likewise.... I'm sure it has been enjoyable to be alive again. However, I suggest that you not move for the moment. *He smirked again*
Twi: All right... Axl?
Axl: Oh I'm not moving...
*Near the top of the temple, there was a massive blue/light gathering at a single point*

~Truinthil looked terrified as Draeken diverted his attack and even altered it. This terror was nothing compared to what appeared on his face when the orb was pulled out. He began scrambling frantically towards Slayer, TJ, and Axl.~
For the sake of the Light you have to help me! You have to get me away from here! Away from him! Help me!
~His pleading, as he tried to scramble towards the group that looked as if they were about to leave and could take him with them, became more paniced with every word.~
Please! I cant go back! I can't! Get me away from here! Please I beg of you!

Draeken laughed out loud as he watched Truinthil beg for salvation. The sound of his laughter was like ice sliding through a persons veins. Like fire searing their minds. "Oh just shut up wont you?" Another sense of sudden movement. This one, though unseen to everyone, was meant to grab Truinthil before he could reach the group of people. "You will come with me no matter who you plead to. Even that being called Mastema, with all his minions and power and knowledge wouldnt be able to save you now." Draeken continued to hold the orb, only it began to look different. It was beginning to glow, but with a light that was inexplicably dark and bright at the same time. "Come to me now, Truinthil." More movement. Truinthil would be brought to him no matter how the man might struggle.

Atha was feeling a bit uncomfortable that Slayer wasnt attacking her. He was upto something else and Axl and Twi seemed to be in on it. She looked over to Draeken and Truinthil suddenly not so curious about what D had, but more fearful of it. She backed away from them some and pressed herself against a wall oppisite of D and T. Her senses were blazing, something wasnt right, she should run is what they told her. She was weaving threads of protection magic around her.

Twi: *Twi merely watched as T was reduced from a fierce fighter to a grovelling beggar right before his eyes. After seeing D snatch him up, Twi grumbled and turned to Slayer* What do you think we should do?
Slayer: You ask me, of all people? Sadly.... it would be most unwise to help him at this point..... *Slayer took another step back, which Axl and Twi followed through with*
*The light at the top of the temple shined with brilliance. It was a few moments after Slayer had stepped back and D had snatched up T that a brilliant beam of blue, red, and white energy cut through the air and straight down. The beam was about 5 feet in diameter, but the energy concentrated within that small diameter was immense enough to obliterate anything that tried to challenge it. Where the beam had originated, who could say, but D and T were right in its path, unfortunately. Regardless of whether D and T chose to be engulfed by the beam, the beam itself would break right through the floor without trouble. Proving to be much quicker than Slayer, this beam would blow a hole straight to the deepest layers of the hylden temple*

~Truinthil stopped begging, seeing that no help would come to him and was reduced to a blubbering man. A pathetic sight compared to his normaly fearless nature. He felt the forces brewing above, but whatever they were, he would welcome them far more than what that orb would do to him. When it began to get closer, he looked up and whispered to himself a prayer for death.~

Draeken grinned at Truinthil's further display of dispair and looked up at the mass of energy brewing above them. While he couldnt actually see it, it would seem to everyone watching as if he knew exactly what it was and what it was for. "I shall not be so easily thwarted. Come Truinthil." Again there was a sudden sensation of movement, but this time on such a massive scale that it would make most people dizzy. Draeken and Truinthil would slowly fade out, as if slowly merging into another plane of existance. As the beam would come down right where the two men had been standing, they would slowly reappear behind Slayer and his friends. Once they had all appeared, Draeken simply looked at them and spoke a warning. "Move, and I will hold you where you are. Stay and you shall be free to watch the following in whatever manner you please. Attack and I will destroy you." It was flat in tone and sounded every bit as real a warning and threat as if it had grown from the ground like a tree, hundreds of years ago and was proven to exist. The orb in Draeken's hand continued to glow oddly, the light and darkness it was giving off growing brighter and darker at the same time.

Athaele blinked at D's threat. She wanted to leave, her face was blank but she felt pain seeing Truinthil in this state. It was painful for her. She didnt understand why. She didnt realize what it ment. She kept herself pressed against the wall, weaving more magic around her.

Twi: *At first, along with Axl, Twi took another step back when the large ray went clean down through the remaining floors. After recovering, he looked to Slayer* What the hell is that supposed to be!?
Slayer: Our temporary assistance.
Twi: *Turning back as the beam vanished, Twi noticed a rather large looking creature fly straight down into the "tunnel" that had been made* Mastema?
Slayer: Quite. Now then...... hmm? *Slayer tilted his head slightly when D appeared behind them* Oh my.... He's alive...
Axl: *blinks and looks over his shoulder*
Twi: *He sighed, not giving any mind to it* Sorry D.... you'll need to find another audience. May your hell be swift, T. Slayer!
Slayer: My pleasure. *Slayer threw his hand across his chest and the Immortal Wings engulfed himself, Twilight, and Axl. The next moment, the cape itself vanished and the three simply vanished*

~Truinthil hadnt gotten any better. He was now reduced to nothing but gibbering. Had he been able to, he would be curled in a ball on the ground. He didnt notice the comment aimed at him, nor the fact that he had moved.~

Draeken ignored the others since they felt they were too important to watch this event. He would mentaly record it and give it to them later. Very likely the process would be painful.
Ignoring Truinthil's gibbering, the shape flying around the hole, and everything else, Draeken moved towards Truinthil until he was face to face with the man. He grinned and took his hand away from the orb slowly. It floated in the air between the two men. For a moment nothing happened. Once again there was that sudden feeling of movement and Truinthil sagged a bit as both he and Draeken were lifted into the air, the orb still remaining between them at chest level.
After raising two feet into the air, a fierce wind picked up, swirling around the two men. Despite the wind, however, both the men's hair and clothing seemed untouched except for the fact that they seemed to be getting pulled closer to the orb.
The wind began to howl with a high pitched sound that could only be described as pain itself embodied in sound. It only lasted a few seconds though as it suddenly rushed inward towards the orb. As it rushed in both Draeken and Truinthil would be sucked into it, their bodies contorting and warping until they disappeared within the orb. All was silent then.
For about thirty seconds there was pure silence except for falling rubble and perhaps the sound of Athaele breathing. There was then a loud pop sound and a shockwave that was strong enough to actually tear up the floor within a ten foor radius of the orb. Then it was silent once more. Another thirty seconds went by before there was a sound that was so quiet that it was barely audible. The resulting shockwave was incredibly powerful though and would blast away every wall still standing in the immidiate vecinity. Following this shockwave would be a flash of light brighter than the sun, yet colder than the heart of winter. The whole temple would shudder, more of it falling apart. As the light faded though, the ground around the orb would be mostly pillars of stone, barely standing in place, many in fact, falling apart. Standing on one such pillar would be a seven foot tall man, his appearance shrouded in darkness. The light from the moon outside illuminated him enough that two twelve foot wings were seen spreading outward from the mans body. Each wing was blacker than black and seemed to eat at the light a little. His hair was seemingly short, its color unidentifiable at the moment. As far as could be seen, clothing was non existant.
As the being stood there, the orb fell into his awaiting hand. Immidiately power of unimaginable magnitude began to roll away from him, but only for a split second as he faltered, attempted to regain some sort of balance, then kneeled on nothing but the air itself. It looked around then fell apart in a flurry of wings as a gust of wind blew through the ruins of the temple. The power vanished slowly though, giving the impression that the man hadnt been destroyed, but had only left. The temple would be silent.

Athaele just floated there very blank for a moment, her black and white wings flapped, it was more subconcious reaction then her thinking about it. She felt as if the air had been ripped from her lungs and took a dry gasp of breath, she looked around at the reminates of the place she called home...it was just rubble, that wasnt what phased her though. Everything was quite different now. She was very....lost. The temple could be rebuilt....if had been many times past. It wasnt what she cared about now. She shakily drew a tornado of green energy around her and disspeared.
