Heather messed about trying to find the couplets and handed them over. "Thank you." She looked up at the Banya bird who was alot prettier then Secra was.

This would make Amkia alot happier that was for sure.

"Oh, may I ask the breed and if they are... well bad tempered? I will take it whatever just we have one, Secra who has the worst temper in the world!" She smiled at the girl, chuckling a little.

Sippa thought a moment before answering. "Well, they're usually domesticated... though I don't know if my sister caught this one or raised it. I think raised it. But the little guy should be pretty dependable. Usually means they're nice little creatures. "She smiled wide.

Vanna cooed and giggled, feathers twitching as she snuggled close. She liked this woman, even though she couldn't understand her! She paid attention to her~

Lorelei smiled at the two.

"Sound lovely," she said, smiling. "Any else should we wary of in city?"

"Oh, nothing I can think of. But it was wonderfull meeting you, sister- and little Vanna. Be well, gypsies. I hope to see you at the festivals!" She had since peered beneath the hood of the gypsy woman she'd been speaking with, and noticed something was... amiss, and more for the sake of respecting her privacy than for a fear that it was contagious, Clostho did not hug her. Instead, she kissed her fingertips to her lips then pressed them outwards in the air.

And then, like a slick wind thruogh the crowd... she was gone.

He was so cordial and excited, she could not help but grin. "Oh, All Saivors Day, I know that name," she said, thinking back years to when she traveled in the caravan with her pappa and mama. If she was correct, they once passed near a city that was celebrating just such holiday. She remembered the smell of the feasts wafting to her wagon at night. She hoped there would be feasting here, too.

She snapped out of her thoughts and spoke again to the expectant Fermer. "But..Peress, I'm not sure if I'm familiar with that term," she mused. "But to answer your last question...aye, those are no myths, the caravans are filled with mysteries and magicks, and we have our fair share of adventures." Marissa surprised herself in how easily she spoke to the man. She unconciously drew Kale closer to her.
The gangly Fermer waved a hand- not dismissively. "Ah, you must have seen one of the preparation or praying festivals- not really an All Saviors Day. This is the real thing. The actual time that the new savior will be chosen. Well, no..." he laughed. "That's such a foolish thing to say. The savior's already there, just... waiting to be born. This, now, is choosing the woman to bear the savior." He grinned. "Of course.'

Silver wound her way through the crowd, guarding her children cautiously while taking care not to get separated from her fellow gypsies. Aisrhan clung to her right arm and Silver cradled Khevashi in her left. Both children were in awe of the colors and noise around them, eyes wide. "Mom, what's going on? What's happening here?" Aisrhan's questions kept coming, but Silver had no answers. She'd never been to this place and was unfamiliar with it's customs. She thought she had heard a few of her sisters talking about some kind of Saint's day or something, but she still wasn't sure.
Momentarily caught up in the excitement, Silver nearly tripped over a woman who was bent over looking at something in the street. "Oh! Excuse me. I'm terribly sorry." When Silver looked down, an almost familiar face greeted her. Surely she had never seen this woman in her life, but she had been raised among these people. The Gelm would always be as family to her. "My goodness," Silver breathed. "Aren't you a bit far from home, friend?"

The Gelm woman looked up at the woman who had nearly toppled her, but her eyes were directed again almost instantly to the children she had in tow.

"Oh, Lord Preserve, Child. What frightful bairns you have." Despite her words, her wide jaw held a massive grin, which continued as she spat a heavy red spittle at the ground- remnants from the chewing leaf that was lodged in her upper lip. "I don't mean no harm by it, Child. They're a beautiful fright. Oh, Lord Preserve, it's harder to stand every day. Give a heavy-boned woman a hand, Child?" She grunted and offered up her hand to be aided.

Tamlin noticed Valelldia wrapping up with her endever and moved in closer to the caravan mother making sure she was within Valelldia's line of sight. so as soon as she was ready to speak with Tamlin, Tamlin would be imediatly ready.

from this vantage point at teh head of the caravan she looked over the other wagons and the few gypsies coming and going.
Valelldia once again saw the newcomer, smiling at Caroline as she went, hoping she wasn't interrupting them- and headed towards her with a honeyed, yet wondering smile.

"Greetings, Sister. I'm sorry about earlier- one of the members of the wagontrain asked my attention."

Caroline nods at Val, smiling. "If ye've business with Valelldia, Tamlin, I'll let ye carry on with it. Ro an' I'll surely talk to you later." She winks again before taking her daughter's hand and winding toward the city again. Perhaps they'd meet another interesting person like Tamlin or the Fermer girl.

Lorelei watched her go with a faint smile, taking Vanna's hand.

"Do you still want to go see the water, dear?" she asked, glad to once again speak her native tongue.

Vanna peered after the woman, then looked at her mother and shook her head. Lorelei picked her up, and they headed back to the wagon train together.

"Greetings, Sister. I'm sorry about earlier- one of the members of the wagontrain asked my attention."

Tamlin curtsied in respect and smiled at Valelldia.

"My name is Tamlin Maire Sorcha, and I am looking to join your caravan upon its departure from the city. Baptiste" Tamlin motioned towards him "has kindly granted me allowence to travel in his wagon, and it seems he also would like to join the caravan, although im unsure of the details."

Tamlin paused a moment before contininuing. she was curious about the caravans reason for being here and the festivities in the city.

"can you tell me, what is the festival going on in the city, someone mentioned an all saviors day, but i have never heard of this before."

Baptiste had wandered a short distance away, but upon hearing the voice of the caravan mother he returns to stand just to Tamlin's left. "My reasons are my own," he says softly. "Suffice to say I tire of the city and wish to resume the gypsy lifestyle."

Heather listened and smiled. "Well this one will be alot better then my other, he is horribly bad tempered!" She chuckled.

"Thank You ever so much!" She smiled at the girl and looked around. It seemed like such a busy place to be.

Silver laughed at the woman's reaction to her children. They were a frightful pair indeed. A snake and a crow? Not usually the most welcome of creatures. "It's alright, I understand what you mean." Silver momentarily released Aisrhan's hand so that she could help the woman. Aisrhan immediately grabbed onto her mother's skirt so as to be avoided being swept into the sea of people bustling about them. "I didn't expect to see any of the mountain people down here at Port Tempranillo. Have you come for this... festival?" Khevashi happily made a strange, almost squawking sound as Silver helped the woman to her feet. He loved making random sounds. He even tried to copy his mother when he could. Silver had once had the amusing thought that she should teach him to say "nevermore", but thought better of it for the sake of her sanity.

Valelldia was not startled- nor was she unduly surprised. Thus was the unpredictability of their lives, that the meij was ever bringing them new brothers and sisters. She smiled at the girl.

"You and your new companion are of course welcome to hitch to our wagontrain- though, for now I ask that you bring up the rear and stay a few paces behind... only for protection's sake. If you were to emesh yourself within the order of the wagons, you may fall prey to some unsavory magical repurcussions of the magic balance being disrupted. However, we will have a wagon ordering ceremony at the earliest possible convenience to try and find a place where you will belong. And All Savior's Day is a very rare event- every hundred years or so, the White Sect Magic users select the woman who is destined to carry the heir to their Savior Magic."

"Oof," she replied, a response more to the effort to stand even with help than to Silver's words. "Oh, yes and no. I knew that in an All Saviors Day festival, rare as they are, oh yes- there'd be a fair amount of the Southern Folk about. They peddle moonstones, y'know." She smiled. "They're my specialty stone for jewelryware." Her wide Gelm face did not seem to betray the fact that she knew she was an oddity: a Gelm who travelled beyond their moutain, and one that did not scorn all bits and baubles that were not of their own make. No self-respecting Gelm would travel to collect foreign stones, or make a life of the road as keenly as that of their craftmanship. Luckily enough... LofSless was not a 'self-respecting' Gelm.

Baptiste bows to the caravan mother. "Thank you, sister," he says. "We appreciate your hospitality." Personally he's intrigued by the nature of the ceremony. Choosing the woman to bear the savior? How would they know? What would happen if the woman they chose wasn't with child? Or worse--was infertile? He shakes his head. People are strange, he decides.
