He knew it was silly idea, but it was the only that came to mind at the moment. I don't want to see you with someone else... I can't bear it... I.. "I need you..." His kikai started squirming around his body telling him that rain was coming, like it was right cue.

Kiba lay there as the rain began to pour down on them. He wasn't going to throw the boy off just because of some water. "Shino, think about what you're saying. We're ninjas. If we leave here, our lives are gone. Since I was born, being a ninja has been my whole life. I have no purpose without that." He pushed Shino back enough so he could sit up. "You're asking me for more than I can give you."

"But you don't understand Kiba..." Shino looked at him, his eyes blank and filled with tears. "You are my purpose..." He paused, he wanted to continue, but wondered if his confession was even worth it now. Nothing I say anymore... is even worth it... very well... then I wont speak anymore...He grabbed Kiba by the arm and pulled him in to a deep kiss holding onto him as if the world would end if he let go.

Oh, great. Now what am I supposed to do? I know what I could do...but I can't! Kiba let himself be kissed for a moment before pushing at him again. "Shino, you need to pull yourself together. I think the alcohol has gone to your head; you're not acting like yourself." He stood up but it was hard with Shino still clinging to him. This is too much...

Lowering his head in defeat, he stayed silent for a few minutes listening to Kiba's heart beat. "I'm sorry... I guess I got carried away with it all... But.." He closed his eyes still holding onto him. "Everything I said was true... I really want you Kiba..." Slowly, he let go of grasp he had on Kiba and looked up at him. "I didn't mean to go to such drastic measures with this... I'm so sorry Kiba..."

I could definitly use one after that. "Yeah, let's go back in. I'm rather cold now that I'm wet." After Shino move away, Kiba opened the door and went back in to where the party was. He stopped and looked around, then chuckled. Now it's Lee and Gaara, huh? This night just keeps getting interesting. Then he spotted Kankuro at the bar. I hope Shino doesn't break down again. I don't want him to embarass himself because of me...

It didn't take him long to see Kankuro, which was the last person he wanted to see right now. He clenched his jaw trying to ignore him and he only knew one way to do that. Keep his focus all on Kiba as much as possible.
"Looks like Gaara and Lee are having some fun..." He smiled chuckling inwardly to himself. Yet he was envying them. He wanted to do that with Kiba. But for all he knew he probably ruined it for the night. I can always try again... But this time... I'll make sure I don't make first moves unless he's okay with it... He didn't know why, but he suddenly felt quite a bit better.

Kiba looked over and saw that Shino seemed to relax a bit and he gave him a smile. "I'd offer to buy your drink, but they've already been paid for." he said as he sat on an empty stool. While he waited for his drink, he looked around the room again. I hope this party picks back up, at least for Naruto's sake. It's his birthday after all. His gaze moved farther down the bar where Kankuro sat. He looks a bit depressed...damn, why do things have to get so complicated? When his drink was set in front of him, he drank a few gulp of it and turned his attention back to the Shino.

Kankuro looked up when he heard the door close, and saw Shino. He was about to go apologise, when he saw Kiba with the other boy. He sat back down where he was and turned his back to them, allowing Shino to do as he pleased without having to worry about talking to him.
Instead, he sat at an angle and rested his head on his arms, watching the people on the dance floor.

He got caught in the tension of watching Lee and Gaara and didn't notice that Kiba at turned his attention back to him. Danm.. Lee must be really drunk... I've never seen him like that before... He snapped back to reality when he felt eyes watching him. s**t... I was just staring at those two going at it wasn't I? He turned around to see Kiba giving him a strange grin causing him to blush lightly from being caught.

Hmm, he likes watching does he? I'll have to keep that in mind. He thought with a smile. "Distracting, isn't it? I just hope their clothes stay on. At least Lee is occupied with Gaara and not destroying the place." Kiba said and took another gulp of his sake.

"uhm... y-yea..." At this point his blush seemed to darken slightly and he was finding it hard to stop glancing over at them as he felt aroused just watching them. Dammit Shino, stop watching! He peeled his eyes away and turned his attention back to Kiba who was looking very tempting now. Danm you and your sexy looks Kiba...Biting his lip he tried to focus on something else.
