''Follow me. I told you before, after our first lesson, I would be much harsher. I do as I said Sayeh.'' The naga stood up and told her sharply, before moving quickly to a cupboard. ''All the things you need are here. If you need any help, you simply ask. When you think you are finished, I will review it.'' He set up the easel quickly, pinned the paper to it, and lay out the paints. Cassius then sat down, feeling a little tired, to read and watch her.

His sharp words stung at her soul but she seemed to smile lightly at his harshness. It was fine for Sayeh to be spoken to in such a manner. "Thank you, Cassius." When he had things set up for her she moved behind the easel. This time, she was prepared.
Her fingers took up a brush and she jumped right in, first dipping into the yellow paints and moving in a circular fashion. Then a figure was painted in the center. Next, she cleaned the brush and moved the brush into some lovely green paints. By the time she had finished, she stepped back after cleaning her brush.
There, she had painted her version of the symbol of eternal life, a goddess dancer from the land she had come from. Her detailed parts were very unrecognizable as they looked childish from her painting technique. However, this time, the lines were stronger, and the colors didn't leak... as badly.. as they had before. The body wasn't completely proportional and the hands and feet were rather dull in detail.
Her violet eyes glanced over to Cassius.

His pale eyelids fell over his eyes, shutting them from the world. He slept for a while, awoken by the sound of Sayeh stopping her painting. Flicking his eyes open, he looked a little sleepily at her, before standing up and yawning a little. He placed his hand over his mouth until he finished his yawn, and then slid over to view her work. ''Good...Good...Your painting lacks detail. You have left the detail from the hands and feet. Your colours still leak, but not as badly I suppose.'' He unclipped it carefully and took it to the window. There was a rack, similar to the one in his room, and it was to this the painting now lay to dry on. ''Try and make your painting a little more detailed.'' He handed her a fresh sheet, with some clean water, and left the room to the kitchen.

Sayeh was never beckoned to follow him, so there she stood, now with a new sheet and clean water. She set up as her violet eyes slowly watched him as he slithered away from her once more. As Cassius had left her by herself completely now, a sorrow grew existant where his presence had been.
However, she did not move from the room, no matter how much she wanted to run after him. The feline settled behind her easel once more. Picking up the brush again, this time, Sayeh's strokes were much weaker then before. However, her details were were sharp.
Time past and there was a painting of Sayeh's once again. A scene of a rocky desert floor, with a lone jackel staring there, glaring was now finished upon the canvas. Many techniques were missing, from probably color blends, to realism perspective, to even a true sense of where the sillouhette of the jackal stopped and the desert began.
However, the colors chosen and the way the jackal and the desert seemed to moved into one being was significant. A faint hint of an emotion could be felt in this piece. It had taken her three tries to get one out, but there it was. The feeling of being alone. It was an expression Sayeh had felt when Cassius had left her in the room. Despite the bitterness it could leave her with, instead, she felt honored.
He could trust her enough to fall asleep infront of. He trusted her to be alone in his home without worry. The honor she felt never came through the painting as she was still just beginning. No matter how small and weak the feeling was, though, emotion was finally beginning to show in her work.

Gliding slowly and silently through the rooms and hallways to the kitchen, thoughts ran through his mind. ''Should I really have left her alone...?'' His old wariness returning stronger than ever, he continued towards the kitchen. The naga opened the refrigerator door and took out two apples, and some ham and butter. He bit into one of the apples as he made a plate of sandwiches for him and Sayeh. Placing the plate of sandwiches onto a tray, he left the kitchen and went back to Sayeh.
''Sayeh? Would you like an apple or something?'' Cassius asked quietly, re-entering the room and placing the tray on a glass table in the middle of the room. He glided over to her to see her work, and what eh saw made him feel happy and sad at the same time. ''Your painting shows your emotion...you are learning well.''

Her feline ears flicked lightly as Cassius' voice came through. As he entered and offered her something, Sayeh smiled warmly. "Thank you, that would be nice. I did promise to eat with you another time." Her violet eyes stared at him with inquisitive nature.
As he praised her, Sayeh smiled brightly. "I'm only learning well because of my great teacher." Her head bowed to him with gratitude. She then turned away from the painting and moved over to the tray he had set down. First, she grabbed an apple for herself, taking a bite. She finished her bite and smiled to him. "Thank you for the apple." Her tail swayed.

Watching her carefully, his long tail flicking, he glided gracefully over to an alcove, that was hidden from view. From it, he pulled out a lute and sat down in front of her with it. ''I shall play while you eat. Music is good for settling stomachs. I always listen to it after eating.'' The naga closed his eyes and began to play melodies, that sounded so simple, but when being played were quite complicated. Concentrating on nothing but the strings of the lute, and the songs he had been taught to play, he was sure he would make no mistakes. He did not.
Finishing a tricky, heartwarming melody, Cassius' fingers slipped along the strings, cutting one of them. The naga’s crimson eyes clenching for a moment before opening and simply licking the blood from his finger, then beginning to play once more. it did not bother him. He had felt and seen much worse than simple scratch.

((No worries! <3))
Sayeh smiled, sitting herself on the floor as Cassius played. She ate rather happily, and almost enchanted by the song itself, her tail swayed in time with his playing. However, her violet eyes were observant.
When she heard such an unusual piece being played, she paid even closer attention. A gasp escaped her as she saw the blood from his finger. The feline then moved her hands to her green skirt. It was already on the short side but now, a sound rang in the air. RRIPPPP. She tore off a section, a faint blush on her face but she didn't care.
All this time, she had been careful to watch the space between them, making sure to only approach when she saw he wished so. However, Sayeh now came near to him, standing to walk over before she came to her knees before him and waited patiently infront of him to finish his playing. Worry laced her gaze.

His gaze flicking upwards from the lute, as he heard the ripping sound, he watched her as she moved towards him and waited with the material. Blinking, he shook his head and looked back down, indicating that she shouldn't have ripped her dress. ''It's fine...'' The naga muttered slowly, concentrating harder on the songs.
He finished his playing and stood up, returning the lute to it’s alcove. He sat by the window again, watching her carefully with a single crimson eye. ‘’Would you like a drink or anything?’’
[[I forgot to put the lute link in. I put it there now. xD Sowwy!]]

It was the first time that Sayeh's eyes displayed a dominant stare. She allowed him to stand and put the lute away. However, when he asked her the question, Sayeh stood up and came over, and without a word, or looking him in the eye, she took his hand where his finger had been cut and wrapped it with the cloth. Although her grip was forceful, she worked quickly and delicately around his wound.
As she tied it, a sorrowful expression was on Sayeh's face as she did so, but when it was done she immediately dropped his hand and pulled herself away. She then stood there before him, staring at the floor with that expression of a pain in her heart. She couldn't even look at him for what she had just done. Her ears were folded back, now a submissive stance came upon the female as she stood there, almost with her cheek purposely exposed, tail low. Her violet eyes closed as she awaited for him to hit her for disobeying him. He could see her eyes closed tightly as she waited for him to strike.

His eyes widening as she took his hand forcefully, he waited, slowly relaxing. As she stepped away, he folded his hands in front of him, before gazing out of the window for a moment. ''Thank-you...'' The naga murmured, turning back. He watched her, bemused as she looked slightly frightened. He realized she was waiting for him to hurt her, and he felt slightly disgusted.
''Why would I hit you Sayeh? Who would? You're much too kind, and nice for someone to hurt you.'' Cassius spoke sharply, the words spilling from his mouth with an angry hiss. he wasn't angry at her, no, far from it, but angry at the people who would try and harm this lovely feline. If he knew who had hurt her...They probably wouldn't be alive to see tomorrow.
[[He hates people who hurt others. Even if it's for a reason...It ahs to be a majorly good reason, and even then he dislikes it greatly. o.o what have you edited?]]

Sayeh had long taken his sharp words with a smile or bemusement. However, this time, as her eyes openned, tears were building and she tried to use her blue hair to hide away her feelings. "You should hit me because I disobeyed you, Cassius." She tried to keep her voice from trembling.
"I'm sorry for disobeying you, Cassius. I just.. don't want the wound to worsen and cause you any more pain or discomfort then it already has. However," Her eyes closed, and she raised her face preparing to be struck. "No matter what my intentions were, I still disobeyed your wish. As such, I am prepared to take that punishment." The corners of her eyes glittered with droplets of tears held back that peeked through her eyelashes. He could see her swollow a lump that had built up in her throat. Her voice came out strong as it spoke her last statement:
"I must say though it is a punishment I am more then willing to take if it means your well-being. I would take whatever punishment you see fit, even if it means dismissial from your presence, if it meant your well-being and happiness."

''I should not hit you. Disobedience is only a crime if it means danger to someone. Your intentions were not harmful to someone. They were to protect.'' He stood up and moved towards a chest, bending over it to open a drawer. Taking something out, he glided over to Sayeh, and handed her a Handkerchief. ''Here.'' he slowly and carefully wiped away the tears in her eyes, before leaving it with her to use if she needed it.
''Since your intentions were so good, I should be thanking you. Which I shall do so immediately.'' Bowing to her, he kissed her fingers gently, and stayed bowing. ''Thank-you Sayeh. The shop is lucky to have someone like you, and I am lucky to have had the pleasure of meeting you. I would not dismiss you, since that would give me unhappiness.''

Sayeh had remained prepared to be hit should he have changed his mind. Feeling the handkerchief though caused her eyes to flash open as she seemed completely shocked. He left the piece with her and the feline seemed absolutely confused. No strike?
A deep blush came over her face and the feline held her breath as he kissed her fingers and bowed to her. Feline ears twitched with his words ringing through her mind. For a change, the girl was left speechless. Never before had anyone said something like that, nor done anything like that.
Her red lips parted as those violet eyes softened their gaze upon him. She then smiled to him sweetly, her body preforming a curtsey as best as she could with dignity still in tact with her shortened skirt. "Then, I shall be in your presence for as long as you desire, Cassius." Her head bowed to him.
The feline then almost begged to him quietly. "I must ask of you however to please.." She looked slightly nervous. "Do not bow to someone such as myself. You are far too high above the others."

''Hmph...'' Straightening up to his full height as she begged him quietly, he cocked a brow at her. ''Far too high? No, I am not. To me, everyone is equal. If anyone is of high position, or should be, it' is people like you.'' he ran his fingers through his hair, sighing a little. ''Look...'' Cassius raised a pale finger to the window, where a bush could be seen quite clearly, as it was quite close, almost right next to it. Two white butterflies were perched on one of its stems, and they were flickering their wings and seemed to be happy together. He quickly ripped a peeve of paper from a pad that was under the seat, and a pencil and began to sketch it furiously. It was not often he saw something like this, and wanted to grab the moment. He would take care to paint it properly later, but first he needed to get the basic picture.
