Mana worked with whomever would help him raise the anchor then flew back up into the sails. How he dreaded going back into that fog. It was blinding but at least the water didn't soak into his wings. That would be a complete bother. But the sharp eyed man kept his eyes on the horizon, the sense of adventure creeping into his veins.

Isaac grumbled, this voyage was taking far longer than expected. His expectations had included delay from the fog, but he did not expect the fog to cause this much of a hindrance. Isaac called to the lookout, "Do you see anything? Are we nearing the Island that is our destination?!"
Isaac looked around as he waited for an answer. His crew was doing the best they could, despite the fact that the ship was carrying only a fraction of the crew...

Mana heard the captain's cry to the look out but he doubted the man could see anything. So the winged pirate flew up to the nest and perched right about said lookout.
"See anything Mana?"
"Give me a moment to focus." With his wings tucked around him, Mana's yellow eyes slowly started to focus through the fog and beyond it. Back in his home, many of the elders considered his eyes a gift from the gods. He could see danger approaching before it was even dangerous, he could find food and water before any of his people. It was one reason they allowed him to live there, to help protect them.
His eyes adjusted to the shifting patterns of the floating water until he suddenly spotted a large object. It was hardly a ship, as there were no sails, and it seemed flat against the water. Therefore it must be land! The thrill of a new world to be looked upon rushed through his veins as a grin broke over his face. He waited only a moment longer to confirm what his eyes were seeing before unfurling his wings and dropping from the crow's nest. The younger man landed next to his serpent-cursed captain and pointed out into the fog. "Land sir, if we can make a good breeze we should come upon it within an hour or so. Perhaps even break through the fog."

Isaac smiled for a short moment then called up to the bird-man, "Thank you Mana, remind me to buy you a pint next time we get back home," Isaac turned away and the usual frown returned to his face, "What was that demonic thing planning..." he said to himself, trying to keep his voice from being heard by anyone else. Something was not right about the fog, the woman, or this island they were now heading to.
Isaac grumbled at his thoughts and then called out to his crew, "All hands, prepare for landing within the hour!" despite the dark feeling that was enveloping his mind, Isaac knew that they would need to prepare to land, so they can just get through whatever evil may emerge.
