"crapaappleesss. bloody hell..."

The storm that was supposed to hit the island a few weeks ago had blown over them without much trouble. There was some lighting and, some thunder to boot but in the end it was nothing. Poke had assumed it was gonna be big, but it wasn't...

Right now small things were popping up and keeping her preocupied. While she kept an eye out on santachu, shilia and Diantha (I hope thats her name x.x wink She didn't believe her spirits were very high...

She hadn't had much time to check up on the mansion, and carita and kazuki had been missing for quite some time. Well, carita was quite apt at taking care of herself, and the last time she disapeared she was strictly told not to follow cause she could play no part.

And so, here she was, Staring at her computer screen in fustration and poking at the keys, trying to get it to do what she desired but not getting the results.

At least she could say that, she was still training her pokemon whenever she could, as well as yumes.

A disgrunted guard sat behind the counter reading his magazine, and wondered what to do with the new shippment of pokemon he had recieved. Many of them were pidgeys, meowths or poochyena abandoned by their trainers or were caught causing trouble in the city, so they were sent to the local "pound" for safe keeping and then assesed to see where they would be placed next. Many were sent free at pokemon reserves, or re-housed to new trainers. However some wern't so lucky and had no place to go, and remained there

He had realised when he was inspecting the pokemon that they had recieved one that had already been here...several times. In all honesty he wasn't surprized; This pokemon had a nasty temperant and was beyond taming.
"well hello there kuro. Long time no see eh?" he said to the black meowth as he picked him up by the scruff of his neck from the cage near the counter. The pokemon replied with a violent hiss and attempted to scratch out the man. He just sighed. Will this pokemon ever learn?

"thats one pissed off meowth you got there" Someone said from behind. And the guard turned to face a girl looking inquisitivly at him. "what did you do to annoy him so much?"

"absolutely nothing" he replied. "Kuro is always like this; he gets angry when picked up and scratches anyone or anything he can get his claws on. It's what happens when you take a wild pokemon out of it's natural habitat"

"you sure? you'll be surprized how many nice wild pokemon there are" The girl bent closed to check out the cool looking pokemon but was met with a nasty scratch accross her face. "but I could be mistaken...owww" she held her cheek that was beginning to bleed

"you haven't seen nothing yet" he placed kuro back into his cage and faced her. "he gets adopted easily because of his black colour, but it's not long before the owners bring him back saying they can't handle him." He continued.

"once an old lady came in with a dresssed up looking pidgey on her shoulder and saw the meowth in the cage and said she must simply have him. I warned her but she just dismissed it saying he was a misunderstood and lonely pokemon. She came back the next day with him and said she neever wanted to see the pokemon again. I noticed the pidgey was gone"

"ah..... hunting cat?" he nodded and, the girl took a second look at the pokemon in the cage. "reminds me of a panther. Where was he first caught?"

"apparenty he was taken by pochers from a jungle somewhere" he told her. "and then he was rescued by the pokemon police, but instead of taking him back home.."

"right, I get it now..." she paused. "how much?"

he sighed. "you sure you wanna take him? any small pokemon you have at home will be at risk"

"yeah. I've trained all my pokemon quite good. They'll be able to fight him off if he even tries to hurt them" she handed over the cash and, taking the cage she walked out of the pound.

OH YEAH!! BABIES!! BD

Ziggy paces back and forth inside her cave, looking a little worried. She had been nursing her eggs for many months now and, she was wondering now when they were supposed to hatch. The most poke had told her that when they were ready to hatch, the eggs would begin to glow. But surely it didn't take this long...Did it?
she presed her claws on the eggs. They were nice and warm, and they looked comfortable in the nest.... She sighed, hoping that they would hatch soon.

The suddenly, as if they were in tune to her thoughts, The eggs began to glow! It was as if the eggs were evolving.

"POKE! CHARCOAL!" Ziggy roared out. "THE EGGS! I THINK THEY'RE HATCHING!"

the eggs then had stoped glowing and where now moving around, shaking and jumping. Cracks then began to form over each shell and get bigger by the second. Ziggy was entranched by their moment, her eyes shining.

After about 5 minutes each egg cracked completly, revealing 3 cute little charmanders in their wake. I was apparently they had all had their fathers stripes, and some of them had ziggy's colouing too.

I'M A MOMMY!" she cried out again.

there are many lessons to learn in...a really nice way to say getting your a** kicked in a pokemon battle

The scene was the living room, or the lounge room as she usually called it. Most of her pokemon were assembled, either paying attention or doing their own thing. Santachu, shilia and Diantha were also there, although santa was trying his best to calm down the crying togephi who just wanted to go outside and play.

Poke was sitting at one end of the table, watching her vapreon very carefully. It had been a few days since they had come home from the gym battle with hitsu, and ran just hadn’t been himself. It was obvious why, poke knew that at once, but it didn't stop her from trying to cheer him up. And so she watched as he barely picked at his meal, Fresh sushi from the shops. She sighed again and slumped on the table.

Her attention was then turned to an agitated looking yuki who sat on one side of the table. She raised an eye at the normally sarcastic pokemon. It seemed to her that for once he actually gave a dam about his comrade’s distress, but it didn't really help ran to feel better

“So, let me get this straight" Yuki said after a few minutes. "Not only did he have to fight against shiran, but he was only able to hit her once during the battle?" His tail swished back and forth.

"that’s...pretty much it.." replied poke. "There was not much I could do"

"but...but...how??" he stammered back. Poke’s next reply was a shrug. "I would like to know that myself. Shiran was a hella lot stronger from when I last saw her in that cave." poke leaned back in her chair, staring at the ceiling. "I wonder how hitsu does it".

"does what" it was the dragonairs turn to raise an eye.

"train her pokemon, thats what. They always seem to be so strong. I mean shiran is an perfect example of what I'm talking about. look what hitsu has done with her"

“Well it’s not like you haven’t trained super powerful pokemon before” yuki remembered the countless times he was made to climb up ladders, practice his flying skills and wear weights well over a ton. Though quite tiring it had helped to make him stronger.

“True…” poke smirked, watching her pokemon make faces. “But compared to hitsu… well you have to wonder, I mean it took ran ages to get that strong.”

"maybe she does meditation, or uses magic powers?" Pan suggested.

"or mabye even a magic ritual?" meinu suggested as well.

Thoughs of chanting and hitsu with her group in deep meditation went through pokes thoughts, and it took a lot of self control for the trainer to not burst into giggles.
A black meowth in the corner of the room just rolled his eyes and yawned. “Perhaps they are already strong, and she just captures them”

“well whatever the case may be, I still gotta think about the rematch, and how I’m gonna beat her”

Yuki narrowed his eyes. “You’re not gonna get ran to fight her again, are you?”

“well..” poke sweatdroped. “I’m don’t know…I have been thinking about it..”

“like hell you’re using ran again!” The chair almost broke as the dragonair slammed his tail against one of the legs. Said pokemon looked up at yuki, then at his trainer not quite sure what to say.

“gah! Calm down there I didn’t say I was definitely using him again! But still, he’s one of the strongest I have and, we got beaten pretty bad so we should go back and show them we can kick their butts! Plus I’m quite curious about this “test” I heard of during the match”

“ you do know why you “got your butts kicked”, right?”

“Because ran didn’t wanna fight her of course”

“so what makes you think he’ll do any better a second time”

Poke was not enjoying being made the dumbest here. “I have a few ideas in my head so ran wont have to worry about attacking her so much, and as for the confusion I shall go and find some-“

She was interrupted by a small ball of brown fluff which jumped onto her head to get her attention. “even with new tactics and items, I don’t think ran will be able to beat shiran Because he doesn’t want to hurt her.”

“and” yuki continued after tamago. “I bet this test thing was just something hitsu made up to brainwash her”

“well which pokemon do you suggest…wait a sec, brainwash?” being a little taken back by yuki’s comment. “Your joking right?” a look from him told poke he wasn’t. “you can’t be serious, hitsu wouldn’t brainwash her pokemon.”

“oh yah? Why wouldn’t she?”

“because she isn’t that type of person, that’s what.”

“and what kind of person is she? How much do you know about her anyway?” Yuki was looking very annoyed
“I know she’s a good trainer, she has rescued injured pokemon, and she has helped me before”

“then, how come she has two dark pokemon?”

“how come she has a light pokemon?” poke responded. “your point is?”. She could see where this was leading too.

“the point is, she made shiran fight, when she could have chosen another pokemon” yuki snapped back “she shouldn’t have used her in the first place.

“hitsu can use any pokemon she wants in a gym battle, and she probably chose her because he gave her a distinct advantage. These battles aren’t about beating the crap out of other pokemon, they’re about using skill and technique to win the match” she sighed. “don’t jump to conclusions about people you hardly even know.

With a huff, yuki jumped off the table and, slithered off into another part of the house. Poke just shrugged and got up to go outside to get some fresh air.

Congrats Your pokemon evolved! blaugh

It's been a few weeks since I have woken up in a hospital bed, free from TR's prision, and now I have returned to the Hoshiko island gym.

I was able to visit my pokemon a few days after I was emmited to the hospital. They were all quite glad to see me, even Kuro as well. Hard to imagine that black persian, who had been through 10 trainers before me, had been slighty worried about my saftely. Mikki, Katy, Venus; they were all crying, and mizu yuki was looking murderous, obviously thinking about Their treatment in the labs. And It felt quite weird to be hugged so tightly by ziggy. Mabye because she was so hot, being a fire pokemon and all.

For the most-part, my pokemon seem alright now. Physicaly they have recovered, but I don't know if there are any lingering effects from being cooped up in such a place.

I have been spending as much time as I can with each of them, making sure they are alright and letting them know I'm not about to leave them anytime soon.

So far, I have no heard anything from blade, riyo, or sadie. I'm slightly worried, and I believe that soon I'll have to go look for them, as well as TR.

But for now, the wellbeing of my pokemon has to come first. I need to make sure they are cared for properly before I go off and do anything.
