Well, I don't really feel like going, but I'm not staying alone. You don't have to stay with me, but I might as well go just to be around people. Besides, it'd give me a chance to meet new people. So long as none of them are like Hishu.... sweatdrop

Josie inclined her head towards the window and grimaced slightly, not sure whether or not Oreyn would notice. "I should have ben over it by now..." were the thoughts running through Josie's head as she looked back ay Oreyn, her voice slightly strained.

Peppa has not told you about our first, as he? Well, it was supposed to be our first, but a man named Hishu...he ruined it for us, if you catch my drift... sweatdrop

I would have gotten even with him, but in my grief I wasn't quite thinking. Instead of exacting my revenge and getting even with him, I tried to concieve again. That's why I've been hiding from most people. Hishu took to bothering me, and has developed a rather peculiar sense of fun whe nit comes to destroying children. If he were to find me... sweatdrop

Josie shrugs and watches him, twitching her fingers. She just couldn't seem to sit still, and it was beginning to be a nuisance to her.

I supose it's my own damn fault. sweatdrop

Josie turns and smiles at him, the smile looking sincere rather than the slightly predatorial one she gave others. her attention is then taken by a lock of hair that had fallen over her left eye, and she takes the time to bow it out of the way before returning her attention to him.
To tell you the truth...as soon as this dead weight is gone from me, and I've recovered a little, I'm going after him. Such a "sadistic madman" will not live much longer.

Josie painfully enters the room, making her way to the throne. She slowly settles down in it, resting her elbow on the right arm rest. After a moment of looking about the room, she sighs and rests her head in her hand, obscuring her eyes. With a grim smile on her face, Josie starts muttering.

What a joy this is...damn, will you just fall oyut the next time I'm walking and save me the trouble? sweatdrop

Though there was no one else in the room, Josie continues muttering to herself, becoming more and more amused with herself for no reason.

Josie sat on the throne sideways, her legs draped over one arm of the massive seat. She had a large green-and-blue print quilt over her, hiding her akward and uncomfortable position in her attempt to stay on the throne.
When she started nodding off, Josie quickly pinched her own arm to keep herself awake. She might look like hell when Peppa actually got here....but she wasn't going to fall asleep until he was back!

...No Peppa for 7 days! Is that even posible!? Well, I suppose it is, but still! ...I have no idea what the still should be. sweatdrop

At the sound of a door creaking open later that night, Josie's head snapped in that direction and she almost fell off the throne in her eagerness to see if it was Peppa. "But no, it can't be..." Josie told herself at the sound of metal feet shuffling in this direction.

From around the corner, a protocol droid walked into view. It's dull red color scheme, almost a rust, if you will, helped Josie pick it out from among the shadows. The droid stood there for a moment before allowing itself to be seen in the moonlight streaming in through the big window, and Josie sighed in relief. It was only the nursing droid she'd acquired after her last visit to the Boneau Medical Facility two days ago.

The droid was supposed to be more of a precaution rather than a help, but nevertheless, it's presence soothed her. So long as it followed her, it didn't matter where she was to deliver Peppa's and hers child, though she hoped feverantly she wasn't in the shower or somewhere as akward when she did start. Of course, holding the baby would be enough to occupy her until Peppa got back.

I just hope he gets here soon...I don't want to clench to keep the baby in... sweatdrop

At the mere sight of him, Josie's face grew a huge smile that almost split it in two. She shifted into a more comfortable position on the throne and leaned her head against his chest, hugging him as tightly as the baby would let her.
She chuckled a little darkly to herself when she saw him eyeing the droid. M3-19, or "Dot" as Josie had come to call her in the past two days, was there for her protection. But if Peppa thought it necessary...she could laugh a little at his mistrust of the droid.
I missed you. I hope your trip went well... biggrin
Before Josie could say anythign else, she felt the slight disturbance in him. Josie looked from the mask down, not really noticing anything wrong with him on the outside, but then what..?
Peppa, you're not too good at hiding things from me, especially when it's you who's teaching me to sense what goes on in a living thing. What's the matter, love?
