Rex made the mistake of finally throwing Zach a bone and answered his question. He turned to him and hissed a sigh loudly before continuing as though he were speaking with an annoying child. "Zach, I don't know. I woke up and it was shaven off. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if it was yo-"

Before he could finish his though, Emer drug the two off them to the dance floor accompanied by a song that Rex knew well. Julie loved musicals. "Do you know how to do the Time Warp, Emer?! So I'm not alone." Rex got into stride with the song, glad that he didn't have to deal with pesty Zach asking questions.

She grinned at him again, jabbing small pieces with her fork and chewing contendedly on them, armed with her plate of food in one hand, and her fork in another. "That's a good thing; I'd hate to see this go to waist." She said, still laughing; she could hear the song change, to a song from Rocky Picture Horror Show. She couldn't help it; she started hopping, sort of, in time to the music.

People. Lots of people. ...Annnd, cue exit. However, as soon as he turned to slip back out, another warning shock emitted from the chip in his neck. Gritting his teeth, he pulled the hat low on his head and, turning, continued into the tent. Walking with the cane was more difficult than the crutch, especially given the flowy dress, but it wasn't impossible. A quick glance around and he chose a destination--of all places, the table of alcohol. He had never been fond of the stuff, but tonight... Tonight he had a feeling it was a good idea if he wanted to get by without strangling anyone.

Hmmn, people rapidly wasted to his left...a group of people chatting to his right. Uneventful so far, and quite nice. Lazily Charlie backed himself up towards the tent. No walls to lean against...but he could casually pretend to do so.

Ah, at least a few were dancing now. Lovely, lovely--and, that woman who had just walked in looked certainly irate... No. Wait, that wasn't a woman, that was most defiantly a man. In the dim lighting, Charlie had first failed to pick it up. But now with a second look...no, no he mustn’t stare. After all, who was he to question others ideas.

Chubbs chewed happily, he bet he looked like Paddington bear eating under his helmet. The spread was good, the company was great and the music... Oh gods no. Chubbs laughed at what he heard, the music from Rocky Horror. He hadn't heard it in years, but it's not like you forget it easily.

Seeing Shenzi dancing around a bit, Chubbs decided to let loose a little and began to dance around to the music, doing the steps he remembered.

It was a bit silly to be nervous over a costume, but Kim had spend almost the entire day preparing, making sure all was right, and finishing the makeup. As easy as it was supposed to be, it took her forever to get the exact shape she had wished to get.

But that was finally done, and the small woman was making her way to the tent. Her clothes where definitively asiatic in nature, and her skin gave off the errie feeling of a ghost rather easely with the thin layer of blue makeup she wore. You could clearly see the "natural" skin markings thought them, but it had been enough to change the normally green-ish to a pale blue for the most part.

She peeked into the tent for a few seconds before finally sliding in and looking for someone she knew.

She laughed as Chubbs started dancing as well; he looked comical, with his pyramid head and a plate of food, dancing to the Time Warp. She hadn't seen the movie in a few months, but it was definately a good one. But it was just amusing watching him dance. "Come dance with me!" She said, grabbing his hand and heading towards the middle of the tent, closer to the music, as she tossed him a smile over her shoulder.

"Oh, that wasn' very nicsse of you. It wasn' me...." The smile had never left his face still, but it grew even more pronounced as things slowly clicked for him. His frill was fanned, but for once it wasn't out of anxiety. "But I know who did!"

Zach gripped Emer's hooflike hand in response and allowed himself to be pulled over to the dance floor, snatching the plastic pitchfork off the table with his free hand before they left it behind. As they walked, he shot Rex a couple of glances that vacillated between spiteful and knowing. Occasionally his footing got a little weird and almost stumbled, but they made it.

Zach didn't know the Time Warp, but it seemed to be his luck that the song's lyrics were the dance instructions themselves. Disoriented, he tried to keep up with them, watching Emer to try and follow her lead. He sidled up to her, trying to take her attention away from Rex. It wasn't on any animalistic impulse, but a very human one - jealousy. Why should she talk to that stupid lion anyhow? "Where's this ssong from?"

Chubbs blinked as his hand was grabbed and put his drink down before getting dragged out onto the dance floor. He normally needed a six pack in him to get the nerve to be doing this. He watched as Shenzi looked over her shoulder and smiled at him, and for once he was glad she couldn't see him. That kind of thing made Chubbs go weak at the knees, and he blushed like crazy befor kicking himself metally and swearing at himself. Hoping he could do okay in his new body and with a helmet on his head, Chubbs took Shenzi's hands and started dancing.

"It's from a st-stage show," Emerwyn said while dancing between Rex and Zach. "Called Rocky Horrrorr."
She laughed a little as the music came about to the pelvic thrust.

Then the Columbia's tap solo came round, and Emerwyn lifted up her robes to show off her hooves as she faked the dance sloppily.

She was grinning still; Chubbs seemed nervous, but alot of guys didn't like going on the dance floor. The usually loosened up once they got going, so she didn't let it worry her. Twisting her body to the music, she laughed, enjoying herself; she could lose herself in music and dance, but since she was dancing with someone she decided not to go dance-nutty this time.

Liamh shoved his hands into his pockets as he walked up to the tent, the music getting louder as he approached. Peering around, he noticed the large crowd gathered... the large, strange crowd. He blinked a few times, and walked into the midst, heading for the drinks table, nodding and smiling at those he passed.

Looks like they've gone all out for us. How kind.

He smirked as he passed what looked like an irate snake in a dress, wondering what that was about, and went to help himself to the refreshments.

It was getting on in the day and finally Alec had managed to drag himself from his duplex to scope out this supposed 'party'. Since, to his knowledge, it wasn't organized by the Islanders he was expecting something like a corportate event, stuffy and lifeless. Hell, if anything it could definetly provide a great opportunity for crashing. Much to his surprise, his costume had arrived with no trouble and he was definetly pleased with the result.

He approached the tent with hesitation, fidgetting with his fuzzy wig while wishing he had grabbed a few buddies to hang with in advance. As he entered, he was overwhelmed with the sights and sounds and stood dumbfounded by the entrance as he took it all in. Music was horrible. People acting weird. They. Have. FOOD.

The teen grinned wide and cut a path through the tent, making a wide circle around table 1 to get to the less blood-related edibles. All he needed was to snap and bite someone to single-handedly ruin the entire party. "Ay ye, SCO'E! FINGEH SAMMICH THINGEHS!"

Rex danced and danced away, unfortunately Zach's mention of who did the shaving was washed away with the excitement of the dance. Rex did the steps as well as he could remember, using Emer's obviously knowledge of the dance as a refresher. After some time he fumbled back to the table laughing to get some more of his drink in his stomach (just before Zach asked Emer about the song). He gulped down the rest of his cup quickly and looked out to the dance floor with Zach getting a little too close to Rex's territory. Oh, if you make a move you little... Before Zach could say more to his doe, Rex joined her in the pelvic thrust in an attempt to win her attention once again.

Chubbs did dance well when he got up to speed. He claws did catch on the ground every now and then but he kept up okay. He held up Shenzi's arm and chuckled as he spinned her on the spot, then spun her away from him and back, he was at least good for some moves. He thought he'd surprise her with the old style dance moves and placed his hands on her hips, picked her off the ground and held her to he left side, and then his right, holding her like she was laying down. Finally he placed her back onto her feet, it didn't go horribly wrong like he thought it would.
