*Ceres back flips and avoids the fire ball. She doesn't even launch a new attack; she just watches her clone for the moment. Something spooks her and she jumps to three rooftops away.*
*The clone is hit and erupts in a colossal burst of flames. The fire shoots out in all directions faster then the speed of sound. Ceres's motorbike is hit and follows in a shockwave eruption, there seems to be no end to the flames and smoke.*

*Amazing... Than actually hit the clone. The explosion did catch him off guard. Because he was so close, the fire would most likely hit him before anything else* GRAAH! *Than winced and turned over as quickly as he could, hiding his face from the explosion. It was too late to really do anything, but it made the motorbike's explosion less impactful on him. For now, Than didn't move too much. He just turned and looked towards the glowing tower. He knew the clone was gone, whether it had been alive or not. While he looked at the tower, he focused on recovering*

Verge swore under his breath at missing Ceres. He was also confused after she leapt three roof tops away. Verge flew towards her but was suddenly sent flying from the large explosion from Cere's clone. Verge fell to the ground hard. He hit the ground, shoulder first and heard a loud CRACK. He gave a grunt of pain and rolled on his back. He looked at his shoulder and fumed. It was dislocated. Verge growled and sat up. He shoved his shoulder back into place and let out another grunt of pain as he did.
"Ugh, that's smarts...Now, where'd that b***h go?"
Verge got to his feet. He'd fallen into an alley some ways away from the building which had exploded. He could easily fly back into the air, but he'd rather get the jump on Ceres. He wanted to end this quickly.

*Ceres stands proudly on a tower. Unscathed and grinning sadistically she blows a kiss. She kicks the side of the tower and water pours out. The water gushes into the streets; quickly it begins the flood the roads. The towers gem continues to glow and gives out signals. The gem is working over time since its brother tower has been taken out.*
*Dom raises an eyebrow, these people didn't disappoint with it came to power but their intelligence could be questioned. Chuckling he sits back on his throne. The man who took out his first tower hadn't been as blood thirsty, or maybe he was just smarter. Still Dom had doubts that this pair would ever figure out his next task.*

*His skin stung with partial burns. The explosion had the effect of burning over his exposed wounds and just wearing down the rest of his suit. All in all, it could have been much worse for Than. His arm returned to normal while trying to push himself up from the roof, in the aftermath of the explosion. Jolting his head up, the sound of rushing water was all too audible to him. Right now, he couldn't see Verge or Ceres. Still, the red light eminating from that tower was his central focus. Slowly walking to the edge of the roof, Than was quite well able to jump to the next closest building. He was slowly getting closer to the lit tower*

Verge turned around. He'd heard a sound. It sounded like rushing water. What perplexed him though was the fact that it sounded like alot've running water. Enough to draw his attention anyway. Verge then saw it. A giant tidal wave came crashing through the town. Verge shook his head as it drew nearer.
"s**t...this ain't good...."
Verge erupted in blue flames just as the water came crashing down on him. Immediately steam was formed and a huge cloud began to spread throughout the streets. Verge kept turning up the heat, making sure he wasn't overwhelmed by the massive amount of water. Verge slowly rose off the ground. The water just kept coming and he needed to get out've there. Slowly but surely he continued to rise until he finally cleared the water. It was then that he realized he couldn't see. The cloud he'd created literally blanketed the city in a thick steamy fog.
"Damn...Ceres was already hiding like the coward she is...now she's gonna be impossible to find..."

*Ceres laughs and flips her gun up from her hip. Aiming for Irvine's back she fires five quick shots. Behind her a red glow lights up the inside of the water tower. Was this another signal tower? Nothing is standing in the way of Than and the tower.*

*Than neared the edge of the next roof and prepares to jump. When he was about to jump, Than stopped when the building shook* Nani?? *Than looked down to see the wave of water rush past. With that in mind, Than looked at the distant water tower where Ceres stood*.....? *The red glow from the water tower caught his attention, and his eye narrowed on the light*....Doko.....! *Than remembered where he'd seen that glow before. The same light as the water tower had come from the red marks on the heads of the infected towns people*.....hmm.... *Than looked down to the water*.... did the water have something to do with changing the people? *Than hadn't observed anything peculiar about the water, as Tyr had with the tiger, until now. However, the light made him more weary of it. Until he was certain, Than decided to steer clear of any water in the town* If the water is a vector for the sickness.... then is Ceres trying to infect Irvine? *Than looked over to the distant man and sighed*...... baka....... *Pushing the two out of his mind for the moment, Than continued jumping and made his way to the glowing tower. Once at the tower, Than observed anything he could. He thought it might be best to destroy the tower, but he wouldn't walk blindly into one of Dom's traps*

Verge was scanning the hazy rooftops for Ceres. He ground his teeth and cursed this steam he'd created. Then he felt a sharp pain in his side. Then another, only this one was in his back. And another in his neck. This continued for a total of 5 times. He felt the one that had come from his chest and noticed a slight hole as well as blood running thickly down his shirt. He also felt around at the other wounds and could tell he was bleeding from them as well. He turned around, where the shots had been fired. He whipped out Innocence and Impurity and began to fire at the roof top where Ceres was standing. He could make her figure out in the steam, though he couldn't see her exactly. He yelled down at her as he fired.
"You b***h! You shot me! I can't believe you shot me you little mutha-"
Verge was inaudible at that point because an explosive round from Impurity hit the building. He was sure that had hit her, but even if it didn't continued firing rounds from both Innocence and Impurity. He wasn't about to get shot and let Ceres get away with it. Not on her life anyway.

*There is nothing stopping Than from getting to the tower. Maybe this would seem suspicious. Dom is a master mind, would he not protect the last tower with traps of some kind?*
*Ceres smirks and runs along the roof tops. A few bullets graze her legs but she's agile and observant. She seems to be wasting time. Verge might notice that one of the bullets is glowing red. Unfortunately for him he hasn't seen any of the villagers and doesn't know how the virus works. With the water in the air as vapor Ceres just has to wait for him to breath in enough of it to activate the sickness.* Well it's your fault, you're too slow. Besides you shot me first buster.

*Than continued to observe the tower. The red glow from the tower again made Than recall the infectees. Even if he didn't know Dom, it was odd that the Ceres clone would be his only defense. Than knew that this tower held at least part of the key to Dom's "game," but he could get himself infected with whatever the others had been if the glow meant anything*..... kuso.... *charging a small ball of unstable energy, Than took aim at the base of the tower. The ball moved slowly through the air after Than threw it, giving himself enough time to get clear of the blast. Running to the opposite side of the same roof, Than got down and hung by his left arm off the edge. If there was an explosion, he was clear of it, and the water had died down enough not to reach Than at this point. Once it hit the base of the tower, the energy ball would take out the tower's foundation, causing it to collapse to the streets*

Verge could've breathed in. He could've breathed in the toxic fumes that would infect him with a strange sickness he was unaware of. But for someone who was just shot in the chest and was still able to stand, let alone fly, he was doing quite well; plus, would anyone think they'd really need to breathe in? Ofcourse not. Any normal person would be dead. Course Verge wasn't a normal person. What he was, he wasn't sure though he knew he was part Vampire. And vampires are dead
Verge continued to shoot at Ceres across the roof top with Innocence. He then switched to Impurity, the exploding rounds would finish her off. He fired with Impurity, reloading Innocence as he did. There were only so many roof tops, and Verge had alot've clips left. Sooner or later, she'd go down. Then he'd find out what that red light was coming from the tower. He wasn't too bothered by it though...it wasn't affecting him at all, or so he thought.

*Ceres grins. She pulls flips, jumps and round offs, skillfully avoiding the exploding rounds. One round gets underfoot making her stumbles. She ducks out of sight by diving into the water. Tapping her earring she sends a signal to Dom.*
*Dom bursts into laughter on his throne. His eyes slide shut as he sends his mind into a meditative state. The gem on the tower cracks and explodes, it releases a shower of water. An h2o bomb if you will, it almost seems like rain. If the water hits Verge it will infect him. If the water hits Than it will only ready him for infection.*

*This was the very reason that Than had hung off the opposite side of the roof from that which was closest to the tower. Because there was a building and a roof overhand between him and the former tower, the water would have difficulty hitting him unless it could turn 90 degrees in mid air. Than had also hung onto the roof using his artificial arm, so even if that were hit, it would not circulate into his body. After Than was sure that all of the water had fallen, he dropped down to the ground below, his thick boots making a thud. For the moment, he cared little about Irvine's state. Than observed his surroundings and then looked at the few drops that had hit his left hand*.... more water..... *Than was more certain about the significance of the water now. If he'd been hit directly, perhaps he would be infected as well... then, another thought hit Than. Ceres had destroyed the village water tower. He doubted Ceres wanted to simply tick Verge off by getting him wet. If that water had been infected..... was that how the people had been infected? Their own water supply could have been infected and they wouldn't have known. Than still had a lot to know, but he was getting closer. Than swung his arm out, sending the water drops on his arm at a building, before he walked around the building he'd been hanging on and coming to the ruins of the tower he'd just destroyed*
