"For what?" Rain asked contemptuously, looking at her with a disdainful look. "To become some mindless tool for you to use? You don't need me! You just want to use me!"
Rain turned away from Daia once more, her back facing the girl. She was sure that's all they "needed" her for; just to become a tool for their bidding.

Daia walked over to her slowly. "No Rain, not just to be a tool. We need you to be one of use. A member of the family." Leaning down she ran her hand through Rain's red hair. "Please, I want you to come back of your own choice. My... my handler said it would be best if you did that."
She let her hand rest on the girls shoulder.

Rain flinched at her touch. She didn't want anyone touching her, especially not Daia. "I think it's a bit too late, now," she said with a pessimistic tone. "I don't see of anyway I can get out of this. Even if I could escape, you'd just come after me. There's no escape..." She stared at the corner of where the two walls and the floor met.
((Ehh.. just stab her with the needle anyway. razz ))

From her pocket Daia pulled out the syringe. "You're right little sister. There is no escape. Not in this family." She held tight to Rain as she tried to moved away and pulled the plasitc sheath off the end of the needle with her teeth.
Wrapping her arm around Rains head she stabbed the tip deep into the back of her neck. The plunger went in fast and smooth.
Spitting out the sheath she felt Rain squirm. "Oh don't fight Zappa, it's for your own good."

"Little?" Rain questoined before the needle plunged into her neck. At first, she sat still from the shock of the thing going into her neck, then she started to squirm about, which was prevented by Daia.
Soon enough, everything began to swirl around her. It all go so hazy and distorted. Turning her head around, the last thing she saw was Daia, and then she fell to the floor unconscious.

Star grinned at Dusana's outward anger... come on hit me... Do it She would welcome any attack on her self. "Don't worry it won't take more then a few days and we will be out of your hair... untill then I will find Quarters for each of us." She gave dusana a mocking smile.

(what was that nasty shot? Well let's find out shall we?)
Rain found herself floating. The air seemed thick and watery. Everywhere she looked a red glow seemed to meet her eyes. Slowly the ground became visible underneath her. Far off at first then after awhile it moved closer and closer until her feet landed softly on it.
It was a place like none she had seen before. The sky above glowed with the light of a setting sun. The rays left everything in that reddish hue. Looking around she saw book shelves everywhere. They lined the walls around her and were filled with hundreds and hundreds of novels.

Dusana looked up at her. "I'll find you your quarters," she said simply. "You don't need to lift a finger while you all are guests on my ship." She moved away from the wall and moved towards the door. Stopping, she whispered to one of the soldiers loafing around. "Make sure they don't leave the hanger," she said, then was on her way.

Star smiled... Not bad for kid. she did not get mad or anything but decided to paly the generous host. Well, well guess she might know a bit more about the politcal game then she guessed. With Dusana being a welcomeing host they can't go and disobey her without looking like the bad guys and they themselves would have to curious in return. "Bravo."

(not much point in going to see Rain now shen twisted )
In the locked room Daia stared at Rain's body laying motionless on the floor. The serum would be working quickly. She had never seen it used on one of her type before. Curiosity got the better or her.
She lifted Rains arm and let it fall back down. She then opened the girls eye with her fingers. There was no response. Rain seemed lifeless. Over than her slow shallow breathing, Rain could have been confused for a corpse.
"Well, looks like you'll need your trinket now won't you little sister." The words were not like the ones before. They dripped with hate and contempt.
Reaching into the pocket of her jacket she pulled out a small compact drive. It glowed with a pulsing green light. Daia placed it in Rains hands and watched the redheads eyes travel to it slowly.

Somewhere else, Rain looked at the books on the shelves. On the spine of a book was written her own name.
"Rain"
Below it in smaller print it continued,
"The life of Rainbow Stardust Willowflower Zappa"

((Man, Tolly. I can really feel the hate coming from her. xd Hehe.. thank you for your concern. razz ))
Rain cocked her head at the book, seeing her name on it. When seeing the spine, she honestly thought it had to do something about her. However, upon seeing the full title on the front cover, she grew skeptical. "No way this could be about me," she thought. "No one has a cray name like that."
Part of the reason she was skeptical and no fully unbelieving was because of the last name: Zappa. That's what Daia called her. She gazed at it, looking the cover over. Then she placed her fingers on the edge and opened the book to the first page.
As Dusana walked down the cooridors to try and find some rooms for her three "guests", an officer ran up to her. "Major Dusana!" they said, saluting to her as the albino saluted back. "We have something on radar you need to check out!"
Dusana followed the officer back to the bridge and looked at the screen. Indeed, this was something she needed to see. A group of six LFOs was approaching the ships. She recognized the signal of two of them, the one that belonged to Medri and the one that belonged to Kanashisa. The other four she had no idea of who the pilots were. As much as she wanted to take care of them herself, she could not. "I'll take care of it," she said. "Thank you for informing me."
She headed back to the hangar and approached Star. "I have something I believe would interest you," she said. "We have some LFOs heading our way, and I would like you three to go after them. Is that alright with you? Do you think you can handle it?"

"Enemy LFO's, have you figured out who the pilots are. Or is this just some random rebels. no offence but rebels are not worth the ammo we would spend on them." She crossed her arms trying to be as polite as possialbe.

I recognized two of them," she informed her. "One is piloted by an AWOL UF soldier named Kanashisa, the other by the hacker Medri, whom she ran off with." Dusana closed her eyes, then opened them and looked up at Star. "Seem worthy enough for you ammo?" she asked. "I'm sure they're coming after the girl, since Medri has been spotted with her. We can't afford to have them getting in our way."
The first page that Rain had opened the book to contained a drawing in it. She looked at it, concentrating on it. It had a young, brown-haired boy standing next to a blonde-haired girl who looked to be about the same age. They were looking towards Rain's direction, waving their hands and smiling.
After a few seconds of staring, something odd happened. The picture seemed to become real in Rain's eye. The two people changed from a drawing to real-life people and scenery developed behind behind them. Rain soon found herself in a feild. Looking about, she could hear their voices. "Rain!" they called in unison. "Hurry up!"

Daia Sat on the end of the bed and watched Rain quietly. The girl held her hand to her chin and stroked the side of her jaw. After a few moments her brow furrowed and a dark frown crossed her lips.
Standing up she walked around Rain. On the floor her eyes were glazed and empty.
It wasn't satisfying. Daia wanted more. She needed more. Rain had hurt her. It wasn't fair that Daia couldn't see Rain hurt as well. the needle had been fun but there had been no pain with it. She wanted Rain to feel the pain. The ache of bones mending. The soreness as muscles were knitted back together.
Rearing back she swung her foot and kicked Rain in the chest. There was no sound except a dull 'thump'. Rain's eyes never left the compact.
"I feel cheated somehow." she said.

Star was quite for a few seconds... THe crew in the hanger grabed there ears at her next words tho. "SUIT UP BOYS!" Like flys to honey the two men came running out of Eden and bolted to there LFO... Dougy stoped in front of Dusana. "Thank you for letting us work on that LFO." then he to ran to catch up with Star and Lewy who where both all ready suiting up.
"Lets get them both at once! Medri, kanashisa your ours!" he looked at the grounds crew. "HURRY YOUR SCRAWNY REARS UP AND GET THE BLOODY CAPIPULT READY! and get some KLF's ready to!"
