Shiko gave a slight smile standing up from her chair, she has been waiting for this. She got up and walked through the doors, she turned around and waited for Tomasu patiently, "How bother some to be with another person and more to be in the "playground"? She mumbled to herself quietly. Shiko was not going to take orders from Tomasu if that is what he thinks.

*Shunketsu notices the wolf-like creature down below...*
curses...they got here before we could set up the traps...but it doesn't seem like it has noticed us yet...Motoko...stay very quiet...hopefully, it'll move on without noticing us...

Tomasu after getting further into the forest got down from the trees and started running along the ground, He puled a kunai out of his pouch so he was ready for anything that came at him wheather he would need a missile weapon or close range.

Shiko gave out a heavy sigh and walked farther into the forest, looking up at the trees, noticing a broken branch " They are horrible at hiding their tracks" Shiko mumbled to herself. She decided she had no choice and to follow Tomasu, " Tomasu, we are not to behind!" She yelled. Shiko jumped onto a tree branch and started to follow him being careful not to leave tracks. she kept signs for anything that might bring trouble between the two. Tomasu is acting rather quickly that is not a shinobi way she thought to herself.

Shiko finally reached Tomasu and more than ever wanted to smack him on the head, instead grabbing his hand that was holding the kunai she mumbled "Tomasu, you need to think like a shinobi, do not act so quickly and not notice any signs that might bring us way more trouble then we do not need" she let go of his hand glaring at him alittle. Shiko moved her hand to her left pouch taking out the bandages she ripped it to a certain point, taking off her old one on her right arm she put on the new one.

Tomasu sighed "Fine then" and startedd to look around.
All of a sudden he noticed some trees had burn marks on them and also lagre cuts from a sword or something with a large blade.
"Is this the kinda stuff you meant to look for?..you Highness" he said in a sarcastic tone.

::Buki winced, those two were going to be trouble. Team work was essiential to passing the tests::
::a screech was given and two of the apes that had been attacking the previous group launced themselves at the newcomers, each managing to land on the back of shiko and Tomasu, immediately they sank their talons into flesh::
::back with the others, the wolf began to sniff around, taking its time it seemed, trying to figure out where they went::

There was a puff of smoke and as it cleared, a log was in the place of Tomasu who had used his Kawarimi technique just in time.
His performed more hand seals and all of a sudden, his hide-in-the mist technique started to take effect covering the forest floor with a thick fog.
"MIZU BUUNSHIN NO JUTSU" he said as 3 water clones appeared and each jumped into different trees. Ive got to find Shiko he thought
Thats my first priority, and my duty as her team mate! jumped down silently and crept back to place where he was attacked, he had a kunai and shuriken ready, as well as his wrisst blade and his clones that were ready to jump down.

Shiko noticed the ape coming down and jumped to the left, she closed her eyes and allowed the chakra to flow down her arms creating a sword, she ran to the ape quickly and stabbed it through the chest. Standing up she noticed the fog thickening the ground. " This must be Tomasu doing" She nodded smiling, " I have to appreciate what he did this time, now to find him we must be going on I want to find the others" She walked through the fog searching for signs, this was becoming difficult but she was not giving up, not on Tomasu or Buki Sensei.

Tomasu heard a roar near where was standing and then a thud as something hit the ground as he walked closer he heard something behind him and turned around just in time to see the ape that had attacked him ready to strike.
He raised his arm and blocked the strike with his blade and then jumped backwards whilst throwing 2 shurikens too distract it. He performed some more hand seals, "SUITON-SUIJINHEKI NO JUTSU" (Water batrrier wall) he said as he shot a blast of water from his mouth. As he was blasting the ape's face with all the water, his 3 clone ran forward and thrust their blades through it's body in three different places. There was a thud as the ape hit the ground, and then the mist started to clear and he cancelled his clones. He saw Shiko standing over the ape that had attacked her, and it had a large hole through it's chest made by what seemed to be a sword, but he hadn't seen shiko carrying a sword. He started to wonder what kind of jutsus she knew

Shiko looked up to see Tomasu and smiled, she realized the chakra on her hand and canceled it. She walked up slowly looking back at the ape " Good job Tomasu and I like what you do, your jutsu that is".

*meanwhile...as the wolf sniffed around*
come on stinkweed...throw off our scent...come on...
*just then...Shunketsu's clumsy side comes forth as he accidentally knocks a sharpened branch off the tree...the spear-like piece of wood fell straight down...and....of all places...pierces the skull of the wolf...killing it...*
stare stare stare stare stare this cannot be good...if the pack does not see their scout return...they'll know something happened in this area...oh this cannot be good...
*Shunketsu starts to panic while trying to think of a plan*
ok...this is better than nothing...
*Shunketsu takes out 3 kunais and wraps explosive scrolls around them...Shunketsu then throws them, one at a time, to 3 trees at varying distances in the direction to scout wolf had originally come from*
Ok...here's my plan...as the pack emerges and attacks us, they'd come from that direction...so as they pass each marker(kunai) the explosive scroll will detonate and destroy a certain number of them as the get closer...if the wolves are cowardly...then hopefully, they'll run away after the 1st scroll blows up
ok...so...Motoko...what do you think?

Tomasu scratched the back of his head smiling "Why thank you Shiko, I never thought I would hear something like that from you. How did you kill that ape? It looks like you have used a sword but yet you dont carry one with you..."

Shiko looked at her left hand frowning " My father past the jutsu down to me, he was trying to teach me how to do "Meitou no jutsu" Which means the Celebrated Sword, you concentrate your chakra to your hand forcing it to become stable, so technically making it into a sword, the problem is that you have to control your mind in all ways so that is why I fight with my eyes closed if i open my eyes I lose my concentration and I'm un able to fight" Shiko winced and stared at her right arm, this was becoming difficult for her, she has never fought without her right and left arm, she looked up at Tomasu " Did you really believe I would not say anything nice?" Shiko asked quietly.
