"Icastus...things always work out in the end." Fleur said wiping away her own tears. She turned so she could see icastus's beautiful eyes, she placed a hand on his cheek.
"Im always here for you." She said and kissed him on the other cheek.

"Put that blade away Gwen!" Bat ordered. "This man did exactly what I wanted. I made him a deal. If he cooperated I would give him our protection. He cooperated very well, therefore if any one get's to kill him, it's the Empire, and they'll have to go through us to get him," Bat stated firmly. He turned and looked at James.
"You'll see that even the lowest have dignity and honor, soldier."
De'Gelis looked at Bat in disappointment. He growled and folded his arms. Bat may have been a downright nasty troll, but he always kept his word.

Icastus blushed. It was uncharacteristic for him to do so, but he really liked Fleur, a lot. "I wish I was older." he said.

James burned inside, what a fool he had been! He had given it all away without realizing it! He was better off dead...but that would come in time.
"yes sir." He said grundgingly. His commander had changed from a great military officer he could trust to a thief and a troll.
Gwen growled angrilly but put her sword away.
Shan looked at bat in disbelief, but he kept his mouth shut. Bat knew best.
Fleur just smiled at him
"Most people do, come on do you want to go in?"

Bat knelt down and untied James. He handed him the bottle of whiskey and jerky. "Welcome to the Black Rose. My name is Bat. What is yours?" Bat inquired of James.

Icastus nodded and wiped his nose on the sleeve of his jacket.
Something that had been said sparked Hampam's little white rat brain. Icastus could be older if he wanted to.

James thought for a moment, this was not going how he had planned. He should have been dead, but yet there were people offereing food.
"Im James, Leutenant of the fifth wolf infantry unit." He said bowing his head to Bat.
"Come on then." Fleur said Standing up with icastus and holding his hand.
"Do yo want to float down?" She asked

"Well, James, Lieutenant of the Fifth Wolf Infantry Unit, this is Gwen," he pointed at Gwen. "Oberon, Shan, Vauhn and Enfidel." he said pointing to each of them in turn. Then he looked around. "Where's Fleur and the kid?" he asked.
(I got to go now. Mom says off. I'll try and get on later. I'll call you when I do.)

James looked at each member in turn. Some werent paying attention to the conversation and some were deeply involved. He was evoluating who his allys could be. De'Gelis, certainly not. Oberon, maybe. Gwen, after she gained his trust. Shan, he didnt know.
"Pleasure im sure." He said nodding to everyone in turn.

Enfindel nodded, looking at James, though her thoughts about him were sour. 'Might as well get used to it... Bat's Orders...' She thought somewhat miserably. "Welcome," She said plainly, trying to sound warm and welcoming. She didn't like the idea of her guild being destroyed, but what can one do now? She smiled weakly, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Where are you originally from?" She asked, deciding to break the ice.

James looked at her with a hard expression his eyes cold
"I was born in Xerxenese, where i live for approximately three minutes then i was brought to a military Training school on the eastern border of the Empire where i lived for fifteen years then i was selected for an officer. And i have marched and killed as an officer ever since." James said looking away from her
Fleur hugged icastus and decended slowly to the ground
"I see our soldier is awake." She said looking at James.

Enfindel was surprised at you. "So... You haven't had any childhood? No fun? Games? Or anything of the like... Just... Being part of the militia...?" She asked, sympatheticly. Being raised from a baby all the way to how you are now from the militia must have been tough, and probably not very fun at all come to think of it. Enfindel was happy now that she had at least some childhood fun and all.

"Games? Life and death is a game, and i played it often as a child just as i do now...just as anyone does. I was born to reach my destiny and come off conquerer." He said looking shocked, games? CHildhood? Such things were nonsense

"You mean to say you never got to really enjoy life as a child, other than death and life itself? No... No riding for pleasure or... I dunno. Pretending to be a brave knight and storming through a castle, slaying a dragon and saving the townspeople and all?" Enfindel asked, very surprised at this. (1,001th POST FOR BLACK ROSE!! IT'S MINE!! James looked dumbfounded, what was this girl going on about.
"For fun? what do you mean by "for fun"?" He asked rasing a brow. He didnt know exactly what things applied. He had cleaned his barracks, he had trained on horse back...was that what she was refering too?
