"Never actually played. I've watched others play before, though." Toko shrugged. "It seems like a neat sport, though. Seems to take a lot of coordination." He wondered if his assumption was true. "Oh, I almost forgot! My name is Toko."

Lala put the ball under her arm and reaching out her paw to him.
"I'm LaLa. Nice to meet you!"
She smiled at hime. She was tom boyish, but her mother had always said her smile was like a diamond in the rough...er...whatever that meant.

Toko couldn't help but smile when she did. He didn't want to be rude and instantly throw compliments at her. He always felt that the girl would take that the wrong way and start disliking him. He took her paw and shook it in the way business people did, with a firm paw. "It's nice to meet you too, LaLa!"

She nodded her head with satisfaction when she finally took her paw away.
"So what were you doing out here, anyway? Looked like you were lost in your own little world or someting."
She let the ball drop now, growing tired of holding the thing.

"Well, I had woken up not too long ago and decided to go out for a bit." Toko nodded softly. "I kind of slept in a bit too long." He rubbed the back of his head, slightly embarassed that he woke up when it was nearly midnight. "Just one of those days, I guess. How about you? What brings you out here so late?"

"Oh...I was just feeling restless so I decided to come out here. It's kinda weird ya know, being in my house. See, i just moved out on my own recently and I havne't really gotten used to going to bed without seeing my mom and my siblings."
She blushed a little. That statement had probably made her seem a little kiddish, but whatever. It was the truth.

"Oh, That's fully understandable. I had that same problem when I moved away from my family." Toko gave a nod and a reasuring smile. "I think all children should have that problem at first, really." He pushed her soccer ball around with his feet slightly.

LaLa smiled again, watching him kick the ball a little. She backed up only slightly and leaned her back against a tree just beside him.
"Pretty good ball, huh? My younger sister got it for me for my birthday. She likes to try and play sometimes too. She's smaller though, Uni, you know. She's way tough though. Moved out wiht my other sister jsut after me."
LaLa's face showed pride. She hadn't been the oldest of the children in her home, but the others had taken a long time to grow up, something about some kind of magic that kept them young too long...some of them were still infants even though they were older than she, and had always helped her mother take of the smaller ones.

Aoi Shinu "Okay, and I'll dry them, then Parfait Parrot can put them away!"Lime Chiffon grabbed a dish towel and stood beside Mimi, taking the plates as she finished washing them and dried them well. She then handed each one up to Parfait, who flew them up to their place at the top of the cupboard. "You two make a great team." Mimi smiled an nodded toward the parrot as she got to work washing the plates and pan, she started humming alittle as she cleaned

"Yeah, its great. Seems perfect to kick around. Not too hard, not too soft." Toko nudged it a few more times, listening to her. "I don't really have siblings, and I can't remember my parents. It's been too long, and they live so far away." He shrugged. He didn't like not having his family around, but he knew there was no way he could help that.

Lime smiled as she handed the last dish up to Parfait, who flew it to its place and then perched in his spot again.
"Spick and span! Thank you for all your help, Mimi!"
She smiled again and stretched her arms over her head, feeling accomplished.

"Well...honestly I don't know my real parents, or siblings if there were any. Glenda, a faerabbit, found me one day in the woods, eating berries all alone. When she couldn't find out where I belonged to, she took me in. The same went for my brothers and sisters. None of us were ever truly related...but we were a family none the less."
She nodded her head slowly. The faerabbit had been more of a mother to her than anyone else had in the world.

"Hmmm......" Lime looked around her, making sure everything was in order, and then shrugged, "I think everything else is under control! Thanks."
Parfait Parrot flew down and perched on Lime's shoulder. He ruffled his feathers slightly and looked over at Mimi.
"You know, Lime Chiffon almost never has company over. She's usually so shy. It's nice that we met a nice kat like you on the island."
Lime smiled and nodded her agreement.

Aoi Shinu "A town? Well..yeah I think there's one just outside the woods over there. I've never been in it but I assume that's where some of these kats around here get their fancy clothes and furniture and stuff. Why, should we go there?"
He supposed they could find more of a variety in some shops...and he did always have money on him (mainly just to feel a little rich...and it was usually stolen from victems of his tricks).
"We have to go there. If you're making me stay in one place, then it has to be nice and not made from bric-a-brac." She said a bit haughtily. There was a rich laugh to her voice and a shimmer behind her eyes. It was obvious she found the whole ordeal immensely amusing.
Yet there was indeed truth behind the words. She was settling down into one place for the other, the least he could do was make her comfortable. After all, she was the queen of pranks and mischief... and you don't refuse the queen. Do you?
