Ahoy, I'm Julie, and I'm a freshman in high school. I've been acting for as long as I can remember, and I love being onstage. The thrill I get from being in front of thousands of people and bringing a character to life for them onstage is intoxicating.

I love broadway musicals. My favorite by far is Rent. I love classical rock, but my favorite CD that I have is the Rent soundtrack hands down. I also adore Wicked. I have a friend who likes broadway musicals as well, and she's been sending me the soundtracks to a lot of her favorites. My mother and I get season tickets to the Broadway in Houston shows every year.

I wouldn't give up theatre for the world. I'm going to be in the movies some day.

^_^

Ooh, new Guild for me to play in! =3 This'll be fun.

I'm S.G., Saragato, Utakan, Uta-chan, whatever you feel most comfortable with. Call me Twiggy if you want, too, but I can't guarantee I'll respond right away to it.

I'm 15 as of the 7th of January and a Freshman in highschool. I love music, singing, reading, writing, drawing, and pretty much any art-form aside from dancing. My natural haircolor is blackish brown, though for the past 6 months I've had it dyed black. Before that it was brown, and before that it was pink, and before that, red. No my hair isn't ruined. I have honey brown eyes that sometimes go green around the edges when I'm in direct sunlight which isn't very often because I love my computer. I'm as white as a sheet and I love my nerd glasses (also known as 'emo' but I don't wanna go there).

I've been playing the alto saxophone for 4 years (quitting next year). I grew up on Opera and Musicals since my Mother was a voice major in college and loves both as much as I do. First musical was Cats (I'm a kitty person) and thus it spawned from there.

My signatures will vary, depending on what my current obsession is. Right now it's Wicked, but before that it was Phantom of the Opera. I love both equally and have a hard time choosing what CD I wanna listen to.

I also like watching Law & Order: SVU and South Park (on occasion). I like metal and classical music aside from Opera and Musical soundtracks, and I even have a DevArt account (go see it! It's my website linky!) where I put my fanart (mostly PotO by now). I love RPing and changing my Avvy so don't try remembering me by my Avvy because it changes randomly.

I have a Phantom plushie and my own Phantom who stalks me (no not Erik, but my own rendition who's very sadistic >> ). Yeesh I said too much. Sugar high. X3

I hope to make many friends here! *bounces off to have fun*

Hola, amigos!

My name is Mara Baker. I sometimes look like this:
It's me!

when I don't look like this:

It's me without makeup!

I enjoy singing (I'm not good at it) acting (I'm told I'm good at it, but I'm not sure) talking (I'm neither good at it or have been told I'm good at it but...I put the effort in) and writing (I've been told I'm good at it, but this time I'm sure those people are filthy liars). I've been in more plays than I care to count on two hands, and hope to someday stand outside a Broadway theatre and say, "Gee! I wish I had the courage to step inside!"

Hello! Lookit me, I'm all new and stuff (hence the near nekkidness of my avatar) !! My name is Nikki, I am almost 21 and will be a junior acting major at University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA this fall. Been studying Meisner (possibly THE greatest technique EVAR) for the past year. My life has never been better, if you can get your hands on some solid Meisner training, DO IT.

I am also a certified Actor-Combatant in the areas of Broadsword, Rapier Dagger and Unarmed. I am awesome ^_^ Will be going into my third year of study in the theatrical combative arts this fall. Am the only girl/woman/female in the advanced levels of Combat at my school. Again with the awesomeness ^_^

As for things I've been in? Ye Gads, the list goes on and on, I have been doing this crazy thing we call acting since age six. Most satisfying roles to date:
A Comedy of Errors - Adriana
Crimes of the Heart - Lenny
Lovers (Winners) - Mag
Children's Hour - Martha

I am madly in love with Oscar Wilde. He is my life. If only one of us could change time periods... It'd be BFF, yo.

Well, that is that, and I cannot wait to get to know many of you on here!!

I'm Charlotte, and I'm a Techie/Actor/Playwright/Stand-Up Comedian/Professional Liar (no, wait, that last one's not true). I'm considering going in Theatre professionally, but then again, it pays peanuts (literally in some cases, ahem ahem).

Things I've been in... no really professional peformances as yet (random plays are plays staged by my drama group):
Sir Toby, Twelth Night
Casino Owner, random play
Giggling Girl, random play
Pirate, random play
...and a lot more 'random' which I honestly can't remember. At the moment, I'm acting as King Pelius in a spoof production of 'Jason and the Golden Fleece'.

I hope some day to be too rich to even look at a Broadway Theatre- or, alternatively, be a member of a group of travelling actors/techies, staging shows wherever the mood takes us.

Het, my name(in case you haven't figured it out) is Alex. I live in Liverpool, a suburb very close to SYRacuse, New York. It's a city smack dab in the middle of New York State. I am 13 years old, and have been in a few musicals. I obviosly love music and theatre(I'm listening to Welcome to the 60's from Hairspray right noiw smile ) I have a lot of singing exp and some acting. I just finished my role as the Mayor of Whoville in my school's Suessical the Musical play. It's probably show I actually think I did well in. biggrin I've seen a ton of musicals(wrote em down in another thread). It helps that my Grandparents have season passes to the Mulroy Civic center where I see most of my shows. We always have this one balcony on the right side of the theater I LOVE IT! mrgreen

Anyway, besides thta. I also like playing video games, read a lot, and am really smart. I always get honor roll. I never study though I guess I just naturally remember the stuff we learn in school. I guess I'm just lucky in that respect. I've only been on Gaia for 5 days. Been writing a lot.

I'm leah! I'm new.
I love drama and all the performing arts, really. I'm more music centered, but I still 100% love theatre. I am a freshly graduated high school student, and I am going to University of Louisivlle in the fall for Music Education. I'm in my third Shakespeare (my favorite to do!)- The Tempest. I am Ariel, even though it's kind of a male part. Oh well.
I've been in 11 productions so far since the 7th grade. I think I am doing pretty good. I never get cast as main roles because I am good at complimenting other characters. Some people are just made that way. And these people usually do their best to steal the show mrgreen heh.
Anyway, thank you for accepting me!

Oh, my favorite smell is the auditorium smell. The place is just so durn nostalgic. I go into any auditorium and get blasted with thousands of shards of memories. I could breathe that air and tell those stories all day.

Hey I'm Klip/Mykah, which ever....I'm a Jr in highschool, for 17 more days anyways....I've been involved in Drama/Theatre since 2nd grade starting with a summer camp, at which we preformed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and The Day God Brought Down the House......shortly after I got involved in the all school musical and we did You're a Good Man Charlie Brown....the next few years we did some more historical comemtary things through music.....Then in middle school I was involved int Drama Club where we managed to do a few readers theatres and 2 student written plays....In highschool I got involved right off the bat with some theatre festivals and auditioned for a few plays, that year I mostly ushered but got my foot in the door....The first play of my HS carreer was A Midsummer's Night's Dream in which I had a small chorus role. After that I helped write an inter active murder mystery. then finished off the year with running lights for Steel Magnolias. This year I've SMed for Student One-Acts, run lights for Bye Bye Birdie and then finised the year with a light show and then lights for Our Town.
I love the stage, but Like tech work more. I'm proud to have lettered in drama and have the only jacket with comedy/tragety masks on the back....yah...thats about it..

My name is Katie and I am fourteen. I tried out for our local theatre group in May and made it. Our summer musical this year is "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", but I didn't get to try out because I would miss a week of rehearsal.

I am taking French next four years and have dreams of moving to France when I am old enough and have enough money to start a new life there.

I have two pets, a cat and a dog. The cat is called Karma and she is a reeeeally fat tabby and my dog is Shadow because she looks like Shadow off of Homeward Bound.

...I think I just told you my whole life story. o_o;

I'm Fyra. I'm obsessed with acting and singing, so naturally I like being in musicals best. You'll see me on Broadway someday.
My dream role is Christine in Phantom of the Opera, since I can sing her songs well, can play her well, and love her character.
Um...I have a cat and a brother, and a half-brother. I sailed around the world with my family. I'm a high school freshman. The end.

P.S. I like Chinese food. And chili. And cheese. ^_^

Hi, I'm Zack, the new guy around here. I'm 14, and I'm soon to be a Sophomore in high school. It's only been a year or so when I finally found my niche, which just happens to be acting. Since then, I've been in three plays, my second one being the lead. I have prided myself for having a stage death for the last two plays, and demand to my director that it becomes a running joke. The first time, it was drowning off-stage, the last time was in a swordfight. Next, I'm hoping for suicide. On a lighter note, I've absolutely fallen in love with acting because of the social experience that I've had bonding with other cast members, especially since I've worked with some of the same actors my entire career. Although our school's drama department is lacking in some areas (we're the only high school in town without a drama class, and our stage is not in the best condition), we've tried our hardest to put on quite a show.

Outside of theater, I like video gaming, cartooning, and writing.

I'm Amber, also known as the Sound Goddess. At 16, I'm going to be a junior in high school this upcoming school year and have been involved in every theater production except one since I started theater freshman year. I've been involved in productions of Quilters, Grease, Rhinoceros, Godspell, and various one acts including Anybody for Tea? and Good Business sense. My acting experience is limited to a recent studio class showcase for school that was open to the public, but this is due to the fact that I am considered a very competent techie rather than an inexperienced actor. I have unfortunately not seen any productions yet that weren't musicals. My favorite musical that I have seen is currently Seussical, with my favorite musical soundtrack being Phantom of the Opera. My favorite script that I've read is Children's Hour and my favorite One Act that I've read is Final Play
