Minerva the Marvelous Burning Disaster "This isn't the first time you've said that." He reminded in a whisper of his own. "Won't be the first time I've tried either.." She whispered back. Melbourn held out his hand, "It's a pleasure. Perhaps you'll fill me on the details of Ms. Cross' background, considering she's been so bland with them herself." ((you know if you use the name 'chris' like you were planning, that would make your name Chris Cross, right....heh heh heh))

Burning Disaster "Perhaps." Blitz shook his hand. "The name's Chris." Minerva put her hand over her head, and tried not to look at Melbourn. Melbourn nodded, not getting the joke, or much of a humour for that matter. "I'll have to drill you over it, Chris, so are you new in the city?"

Eulalia Danae Clair put a hand on Anc's arm, " more noise equals more attention, Titan, please."
She nodded at Bobby, "we should probably take that dance now, get the questions out of the way, rather than standing with our feet in spilled sandwhiches, she nodded at the tray of canapes on the floor." Loki sets down his glass and moves towards Claire. He eyes dead set upon her and occasionaly shifting to the overly large 'human' (Titan) standing close to her. As he gets close he speaks "Claire may I have a word with you?"

"I have something to tell you from Seth but its for you to hear only so would you mind moving to some place private?" he says as he glances at Anc making it seem like he is intimidate by the much bigger man.

Clair tilted her head, then glanced back to Bobby, "we'll dance later. Anc, keep an eye on the councilman and Arch. Kikryu, go dance with some pretty boys." She turned to Loki, "the library should work well enough, right?" She asked as she began moving towards the exit of the ball room.

Arch said, drinking from the random drink he had grabbed. "You have to remake trust these days," Grant said solemnly, "It's got to start somewhere, so it might as well start with us." The councilman's smile suddenly disapeared as he glanced up and saw another person walk into the ballroom, a tall, chestnut-haired man. He cursed under his breath, and wondered how long it would take the crowd to realize there were two of the six present at the party, "damnit Mckinnley..." He whispered. "McKinnley? Aihnt 'e anotha oh the Six?" Arch turned, follwing Grant's sight. "Thaught yeh were the onleh ohne hea'?"
