He knew what the Shade was saying was truth, but in the same respect, he couldn't totally be sure if this was meant to honestly benefit his cause, of for the Shade' own means.
If anything, it was probably both, in order to throw off suspicion.
Victor still maintained a somewhat unclouded scope of judgment, and due to this reign of free will, as tumultuous as it was to keep, he still was ahead of the Shades.
In the same respect... however, this could only last for so long. In the end, Victor was still simply human.
"Of course... there's no point in not covering every step or taking all the precaution necessary."

Ra'kar smiled softly, drawing Tellus back to her and stroking her head soothingly.
"Shhhh, darling. It's okay... I was going to ask if you'd like to go on a little trip with me? There are some things I need from home, and I believe your mother is visiting there this very moment. I'm sure she'd like to see you also?"
The demoness drew back from Tellus enough to look her in the eyes and smile at her, letting the girl see her concern over her distress.
"I don't want my beautiful flower wilting, shall we take a stroll in the sun pet?"
Cupping Tellus' chin gently she added,
"We can visit your children as well if you like? I'm sure they'd be proud to see how strong their beautiful mother has become."

Tellus smiled tremulously, and it was easy to see how young Tellus was, despite her body and ability. If Ra'kar said it was so, it must be."Only if it should please you, Mistress." But Tellus' whole body was almost glowing with excitement, becoming warm to the touch, as her emotions caused her abilities to become slightly uncontrollable.
She flung her arms around Ra'kar, and began smothering the demoness' face with small, soft little kisses in gratitude. "Thank you." she whispered breathlessly as she began to simply nuzzle the woman's neck in affection.

"You're welcome."
Things couldn't be working out more perfectly if Ra'kar had wished them to. Well... almost anyway. There was the pressing issue of Sierra who had inconveniently gone MIA. Right now her soul should have been locked away in a prison of grief, yet the elven woman's presence had vanished nearly entirely. What faint hint was left, was so obscure Ra'kar couldn't pinpoint her location. Those fools at GUARDIAN were no doubt searching desperately for their beloved leader... Maybe they'd found something she had missed. Either way, a visit home was in order. The fact that Fae had chosen to go to the Dark Sakura and Tellus would be able to visit with her mother made it all the better.
The bond between the elf demon and her Synmalthin was a strange one. Ra'kar generally didn't care for anyone other than herself, yet she seemed to take Tellus' well being and happiness into consideration despite how out of character it was for her to do so. True, it was made easier to be generous when it coincided with self-gain... but the tendril of caring that tied both women together was there all the same.
As Tellus showered her with affection, Ra'kar laughed and hugged her, pleased at the girl's reaction. So much so, she kissed her back and then grinned at her.
"We'll leave in two nights. First we'll visit your children and then we'll head to the Dark Sakura. Until then, we will prepare for our trip and pick out gifts for your loved ones, does this please you pet?"

Tellus looked at Ra'kar with adoration, finally thinking enough to smile. "It pleases me very much, mistress." And hugged the elven demoness tightly, as if she was a dearest friend, instead of merely a lover. "Thank you."
Finally, after a moment, she looked down and saw how dirty her pretty dress had been, and her face bloomed into flame as bright as Ra'kar's hair. "I...should go get changed. Do you want dinner?" Suddenly nervous and shy around the woman who seemed to occupy so much of her thoughts as a schoolgirl.

The demoness simply smiled and pressed a quieting finger to the girl's lips.
"Shh, you're fine. But if you'd like to go clean up, by all means. There should be some nice things in your wardrobe. If you don't like them, then we'll pick out some new garments for you as well before our trip."
She noted her synmalthin's suddenly flustered state and hugged her gently, soothingly almost.
"You really enjoy cooking don't you pet? Yes, if you'd like I'll take dinner with you."
She smiled and kissed Tellus forehead.
"I'll join you in two hours? Is that enough time for you to prepare or do you need more pet?"

She shook her head like an eager puppy, the braids slapping her face lightly. "Two hours will be plenty. I saw some peaches over on a tree that would be lovely for a dessert." Excited and pleased that her mistress had noted some of hers, it was obvious to tell she had been lonely and was a bit ...overzealous in making up for lost time.
She reached once more to touch Ra'kar's arm and then ran off, with only a single glance behind her, not wanting to waste a precious second of the time she had to prepare the perfect evening for the demoness.<3

"A wise choice Lord Fah." Alpha's face disapeared into blackness as red eye closed and head bowed. A sign of respect, however temporary and however false.
"Your brother will undoubtedly be inspired soon enough. We will disguise cultists as a false militia to assist him in his fight against the... shadow demons." Alpha spoke without feeling towards the topic. With his arms folded at his stomach and his footing distibuted at shoulder with, the shadelord looked rather disconected from the implications, while sounding utterly confident in the plan. "Once he is far enough in the city we will bolster the cultists with shades, then the favour of numbers will shift to our side. Our sleeper agent will remove the blocks barring most magical location within the city, and that will allow for location of the device."
Alpha took his steps forward now as the shadelord knew the topic of one Vahn Fah was a delicate situation, but one that needed to be treated with dominance on The Forgotten part. His movements were all too fluid for such an armoured figure, too casual and not nearly clunky enough to appear physicaly possible. Much closer to Victor, but still in his casual general pose, Alpha spoke once more.
"By that time your brother will have claimed victory."

Ra'kar would catch Tellus by the wrist and spin her back into her arms in a beautiful movement one might see in courtly dances. The demoness let the young woman see utter seriousness in her eyes as she spoke.
"Promise me you will eat nothing of this place Tellus. Nothing that grows here and nothing given to you by anyone of Victor's service? Swear it."
After she had secured Tellus' solemn vow not to partake in the island's produce, her face would soften.
"If you want peaches dear, I'll have the most perfect peaches you've ever seen sent to you. Is there anything else you need in the way of fresh vegetables or fruit? Meats or Grains even? I'll have a pantry stocked for you."
Ra'kar was not in the least bit trusting, not even of Victor. Especially of Victor. She would take no chances as far as she and hers were concerned. There were, all through the histories of various cultures, tales of individuals supping of foods from another world or realm or some enchanted place and becoming of the place or bound to it. One of her favourite such stories involved the daughter of a Goddess, name Persephone. A reminder that even the truly powerful could fall victim to devious ploys.

Tellus stared at Ra'kar in shock. Wasn't Victor and Eden her ally? Then again, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Cliche's about friends and enemies ran through Tellus' head, and so she responded with a nod. " Of course, Mistress. I just didn't know--"
And then Ra'kar explained that she'd provide for some food, though how on Gaia she'd get it, Tellus didn't know. "If we're only going to be here long enough to prepare to go home, I won't need much. Maybe some steak, some cheese and bread would be nice." And at that point, she became almost like her mother, ticking off things on her fingers as she thought about what she'd like to make for Ra'kar...."Oh, and I'll definitely need the ingredients to make my infamous Death by Chocolate cake...it's my mother's recipe, but I make it even better than she does."<3

It was as if Ra'kar sensed exactly what she was thinking, or read it in her face because she responded softly.
"He is our ally pet, but he puts himself and his goals first. If it suits him he would cash us in without a second thought. It would be foolish of him to do so, but best we not take chances on his intellect. Remember, nothing comes without a price... do not take from him, without knowing the price in full first. My bond with you will protect you from a great deal, but I would not tempt the fates for they are fickle."
Kissing the young woman's forehead she couldn't help but chuckle as Tellus' 'not much' of a list grew rapidly. Yet it pleased the demoness greatly and she assured her she would have everything she needed and more.
"I'll see you in two hours, within thirty minutes your ingredients will be delivered by one of MY servants."
Kissing Tellus' softly she smiled and let the girl go.
.......
After Tellus had left, Ra'kar drew a long, jeweled straight pin from out of her hair. The pin itself was a delicate and thin silver blade. It flashed with biting accuracy as it bit into the soft flesh of her palm and a trail of fresh crimson welled up within it's wake. Turning her palm down to face the earth, She clenched her hand into a fist, squeezing to force an increase in the blood flow. The blood flowed freely and ran over her pale flesh, falling toward the ground, but before it hit the grass at her feet, it ignited flickering to life as gold flame. The gold flame collected into a burning pool at her feet and aloud she spoke an incantation:
"Blood of my Blood Call forth the ancient fire. Ra'kar'shei'lian summons thee, Spirit who answers, Spirit who will obey. Appease my desire."
The pool of flame flickered brighter as the flames climbed higher. A form began to take shape amidst them. A human shape... then that shape split into two and a young man and woman stood staring at her through the flames. They're gaze burned, for in place of their eyes, was flickering flame. They both had hair that hung to their backsides, and it seemed to shimmer with every shade and tint a flame could be. For anyone who wasn't accustomed to such oddities, it would make them nearly impossible to look at, inflicting a terrible, dizzying migraine. Their skin was the colour of charred ash. Their garb was minimal and what little covering they had was very tribal in a refined sort of way. It was basic, yet it was ornate. Decorated with cold and fyre gems.
The spoke in unison as they each reached a hand out to her in mirror image of one another.
"We answer your call O'mistress of fire. It is our honour to serve you in fulfilling your desires." They stood there, waiting, unmoving with their hands outstretched to the demoness. Ra'kar's lips had formed a small 'o' of wonderment as she smiled with delight written in her features.
"The Fyre Mali are eager to please me. Why is it, that your tribe seeks my favour?""You are the Eilaras os Thosi eil Pasaer.""...""We have served you in times past Jhadia Eilaras, and we have not dissapointed you. Our people were made strong by their alliance with you. If you are returning to power, we would seek a place in the Tys os Thosi, the Court of Fire.""Indeed. Very well, I accept your services and thank your people for their gift."
Ra'kar smiled and held her hands out to her new servants, and they placed their blackened hands in her pale ones, speaking once more in unison. "We are pleased Jhadia.""You have names I trust?""Of course Jhadia, She is Aestaes and I am Tandrae."Nodding in approval she spoke to Tandrae.
"My Synmalthin needs ingredients for the meal she wishes to prepare. Go, get what she needs and deliver them to her before the next quarter wick has passed."
She listed what Tellus had asked for and in a flicker of flame, the man had vanished. She turned her attention now to the female, inspecting her with a keen eye. Seemingly pleased with what she saw in the young woman she stepped back and nodded again.
"Yes, you are fit to be my Jhadia ail Sharol.""I am glad you are pleased Jhadia. If I may? I am happy that the rumours were true.""Rumours?""Yes. It has been whispered among my people that you had taken a Synmalthin again. I am pleased to serve such a powerful Eilaras." Ra'kar smiled and waved her hand dismissingly.
"Come, We are to travel in two days time, there are preperations to be made."
The female fyre slave would bow low to her Jahdia, to her lady, and follow behind her back to her quarters, leaving thr ground where the two Fyre Salves had been summoned, perfect and unscorched.
Roughly 12 minutes later, Tellus would be visited by Tandrae, bestowing upon her, her cooking ingredients. Bowing low to her, for she was the Synmalthin of the Jahdia Eilaras, and no less respect would do. He would return to Ra'kar and his sister in the demoness' chambers.

To say that Tellus was stunned at the appearance of Tandrae, dropping the two outfits she was trying to decide upon when the Fyre Salve had arrived. For a moment, she just looked at him as he stood there with the items she had requested from Ra'kar, finally finding her voice.
"I..I...I've seen the likes of you before in my dreams..." She stuttered, her hand moving to cover her mouth in shock. But the sight of the food eventually made it's way into her brain and she processed.
"I'm so sorry...I didn't mean to be rude." She looked at the bowing figure and was nothing short of confused. "Please don't bow. I'm nothing to bow to." Even more frightening aspects of that dream coming to mind. "My mistress sent you?"<3

Tandrae smiled politely to the woman, bowing again but not as deeply.
"But Jhadia, you are the Synmalthin of the Jhadia Eilaras. That commands much respect from my kind. I would be shamed not to acknowledge your station."
Straightening, he would deliver his burden to wherever she directed him as he replied,
"Yes. For we serve the same Mistress."

Tellus sighed, again with that term. "I still don't understand what that even means..",she vented in frustration as she pointed out where she wanted him to put things. She'd specifically ordered stuff she could cook over open flame...well, except the cake. Now she needed to find a way to cook that too. "And what's a Jhadia Eilaras?" Maybe she'd finally get some answers out of him since she was always too busy trying to please Ra'kar to actually find any real answers from the demoness. She really should work on that.<3

He made a sort of baffled expression at her and almost before it had been there, it dissapeared behind a mask of well controlled neutrality. He was too well taught to show such incredulity to one he served.
"Jhadia Eilaras? It is what you would say... ah.. Lady Avatar. Ra'kar'shei'lian is the elven Eilaras os Thosi eil Pasaer, the Avatar of Fire and Darkness."
Finally having his arms free again he smiled and couldn't help but tell her just a bit more.
"A long time ago, she ruled the Fire court. Both the Fyre Mali and the Shidan Mali were loyal to her only, but it was the Fyre Mali that she favoured."
