Byakko immediately came to Raelen's side and wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his head on her shoulder. "I have to admit, I feel like I'm meeting your parents here."

The feline's tail gave a soft flick, and she gently rested her arms against his, leaning back against him. Turning in his arms, she wrapped her arms loosely around his neck, nuzzling him lightly. "Just be yourself and they'll adore you," Raelen whispered gently into his ear. "Besides, it doesn't matter what they think...because I love you no matter what anyone else says."
A few moments later there was a knock on the door, a knock that repeated itself in a little tune. A short pause, before the knock came again, in that same little tune, with just a few more knocks added on to the end of it. Oddly enough, it seemed like a happy knock, a childish knock. Patient and yet anxious for the door to be opened. Jeannot was sitting up on Drake's shoulders, giggling happily as he wiggled on the other male's shoulders, glancing all around. "RaeRae! You hoooome?" the angelic bunny called out through cute little giggles.

Byakko seemed to be relieved to hear such sweet words. He had moved to kiss her cheek, enjoying holding her when the knock caused him to release her. he blinked as a second happy knock came. When the two came in, Byakko was standing beside Raelen, looking as regal as eve, his eyes were watching Raelen, lips with a smile. He then glanced over, and bowed his head to the two. "Good Day."

Raelen gave a light pout that she had been released, but quickly put a smile on her face towards the fire fox and angelic bunny. The feline glanced up towards Byakko, and smiled affectionately, before turning her attention back towards the other two males. "Jeanny, Drake...this is Byakko."
The bunny's wings twitched as he sat on Drake's shoulders, staring at Byakko with big, blue eyes, pink bangs falling into his face. "Hi! I'm Jeannot, but call me Jeanny or Jen-Jen if you'd like!" he giggled out happily, crawling off the fire fox's shoulders with some difficulty.
Drake arched a slender brow and knelt down towards the ground gracefully, so that Jeanny could climb off of his shoulders with ease. Standing back up with one elegant movement, he dusted himself off lightly and inclined his head politely, and respectfully, towards the regal hawk. "Drake Astaliare. I do not want to seem rude, but I am curious as to who exactly you are, Byakko..."

A warm smile was quick to approach his lips. "Hello Jen-Jen. Hello Drake Astaliare. As to who I am, I am a hawk elder who has taken a great interest in lovely Raelen." He seemed to be very reserved. Although his heart was bursting to tell everyone that Raelen had accepted his proposal, it was improper to say they were mates with rings to show yet. Besides, he wasn't sure what Raelen wanted them to know yet. "I hope I am not imposing by asking to join you three along for your picnic?" It was only fair to ask the others if he could go as well. He knew what Raelen wanted but it was only polite.

The bunny giggled and hopped over towards Raelen, wrapping his arms around her in a hug. Moving lightly, he wrapped his arms around Byakko's waist in a hug as well. Being childish, he really didn't process that it could be seen as rude. Moving away quickly, Jeanny linked arms with Raelen. "Ooo~ RaeRae found someone, too? Yay!"
Raelen giggled at Jeannot, and had kissed him on the head, thinking of him as a young boy instead of a grown man. When his arm was linked with her own, the feline's ears gave a flick at his words, tail rising and twitching curiously. "'Too?' Do you mean that you found someone as well, Jeanny?" The feline decided to have some 'girl talk' with the bunny, if only for a few short moments.
"Well, if Raelen has taken a liking to you...then you must be something special," the fire fox said with a polite smile, his twin tails flicking as his ruby eyes glanced towards Raelen and the bunny. Turning his attention back towards Byakko, he smiled and nodded his head, appreciating the politeness and manners that Byakko was showing. "Imposing? Not at all. You're free to come on our little outings whenever you please."

When the bunny man had come to hug Byakko, he merely smiled to him kindly, hugging him back lightly before he slipped off to lock arms with Raelen. He then bowed his head. "Thank you for your kindness." He tehn smiled to Raelen. "Your friends are very nice."

Raelen smiled brightly towards Byakko, and lightly patted Jeannot on the head before moving into the kitchen. The day before she had already prepared the picnic lunch, so all she had to do was place it into the basket. Returning with the basket lightly resting on her arm, the feline lifted a blanket from the edge of the couch and offered a bright smile towards the three males, standing closest to Byakko. "Is everyone ready?"

Byakko seemed to watch her carefully before turning back to watch the fire fox and the bunny anthros. He would begin easy with simple things when he was left alone. "So Jen-Jen, do you and Drake Astaliare here live together?" He smiled kindly to Drake as he spoke of him. When Raelen returned, Byakko offered to carry something for her. "I'm ready."

Raelen smiled and watched them, handing Byakko the blanket, offering him an affectionate smile before she turned towards the door, leading the three males out towards the lake for their picnic. She chatted with Astaliare along the way, since Jeannot was excitedly bouncing beside Byakko.
Jeanny giggled and nodded his head, little tail wiggling. "Uh-huh! Drakey, Dusty, Dar-Dar, Lucy...all us boys share a house! But not rooms," he explained lightly, a small excited bounce in each step he took. A picnic and getting to meet the male that Rae talked about all the time? This was just so exciting for the young bunny!

Byakko gladly took the blanket and smiled warmly to Raelen before turning his attention to the excited man. He followed after his feline love. "Oh, so its only men in the house? Not a single girl?" He seemed to sound a little surprised by this. "How do you all get along? I must imagine that Drake is your closest friend in the home."

"Drakey is...he's my Papa," Jeanny said lightly, since he did see Drake as his only father-figure, considering his father...um...well, what was in the past was in the past. Smiling brightly, he tilted his head to the side and put his arms behind his back as he happily walked along-side the hawk elder. "Not a single girl! We told Rae-Rae she could live with us, but...she doesn't like big crowds of people. We get along pretty easy...Dusty doesn't talk at all, Dar-Dar is my good friend, Lucy is always off by himself, looking for horses, Drakey is always cooking or cleaning, and...I've been around Axy a lot lately," he admitted with a light blush.
Raelen's ears twitched and she giggled, over-hearing the very end of what Jeanny had to say. She had to meet this 'Axy' fellow. After all, it wouldn't be fair if Jeanny got to meet her beloved Hawk, and she didn't get to meet his special man. Smiling, she glanced over her shoulder before slowly coming to a stop next to the lake. "Here we are~"

Byakko blinked for just a moment. "Papa huh?" He said slightly as his eyes glanced over to Drake. Nope that definately did not look like a bunny in the least bit. It then occured to him that maybe he had adopted this young man. A smile came to his face. "Well thats good that you have someone you care about and who cares about you. Axy is his name? What kind of anthro is he?" Byakko could be gentle. When he saw the lake he just seemed to grow a soft expression. "What a serene place."

"Well, his name is Axel...but he lets me call him Axy...and he calls me his bunbun," the young male squeaked out happily through a blush. Glancing towards the ground, he looked back up at Byakko. "Axy is a dragon," he said lightly with a nod of his head. Of course, Jeanny didn't think about species or genders the way most people did. Then again, Byakko was a Hawk who was in love with a cat. Species mattered little around here.
Drake smiled and gently took the blanket from Byakko, looking out towards the lake as he positioned it and spread it out along the ground, gently taking the basket from Raelen, gesturing for her to sit down first. After everyone had been seated, the fire fox sat down and put the basket in the middle of them.
Raelen purred and smiled, staring out at the lake and the lush vegitation surrounding it. Leaning back, she scooted closer towards Byakko. Even though they didn't have rings, it didn't matter much to her. Though she respected that Byakko wanted it to be more...proper. And so she kept herself under control, as if she had an invisible leash on. Everything would be revealed in due time. "It's truely beautiful.."

"Axy sounds nice, Jen-Jen. Hope I can meet him one day." He said with a kind smile to Jeannot. When Drake took the blanket, Byakko tried his best to help by smoothing out the fabrics, straightening it. He waited for Raelen to sit and then sat down beside her in his regal fashion on his knees and legs in a very oriental fashion. but it was the easiest way to keep himself modest with his black loincloth. He then glanced over to Raelen with a kind smile. The hawk elder turned to Drake. "Do you find the house you share with so many others to be peaceful enough?"
