Ayame sighed, playing around with her hair. Of course... if she had aged like a normal human... she would be about seven, and Daisuke would be nine, if he aged the same as a human. "Kiiii-kuuun... I miss her a lot!" Ayame whined, closing her eyes sadly, but soon opening them to look at the floor.
Daisuke's ear's twitched, catching a familiar smell. Was that Kisa? No... it couldn't be! But... Daisuke looked at the girl who just walked by, and he noticed that she gave them the occasional glance. He slightly pointed at the wolf girl slightly, saying to Ayame, "Hey.. do you think that's her? You think that it's Kisa-chan?"
Ayame glanced up at Daisuke, to see he was pointing at a wolf demon. She examined the girl's face, and suddenly gasped. It was! It really was! "Kisa-chan?" she asked, making sure it was. she quickly reached into her back, pulling out a picture, with Kisa, little Ayame, and little Daisuke. "It's us! It's Ayame and Ki-kun!"

Kisa's ear twitched, hearing her name. She turned and found herself staring at the two she'd just been looking at a moment before. For a moment she said nothing, just blankly staring at them. Her eyes flicked from the picture to the girl held, to the girl's face, and then she blinked several times.
"R-really?" she stammered. "Are you... but how..?" She was obviously extremely confused. It really did seem like them, but how could they be so old? They'd almost caught up to her, it looked like!

"Ah... your wondering about our age? Well... um..." Ayame stammered. Sigh, how could she explain this? This was... going to be difficult for Ayame... "Ki-kun..." She begged for help.
Daisuke sighed, almost seeming a sucker for Ayame's innocent act. It's what always seemd to get to him. "Well... It's true... if we aged in human years... we would be seven and nine... however... we have no human blood."

"...oh," Kisa mumbled, looking between the two. She did have human blood her in, just a little, but she guessed that was enough. "How strange," she added with a laugh, and then reached out to pull Ayame into a hug. "Long time no see! How've you been?"
She smiled at the girl, and then towards Daisuke, her tail wagging slightly behind her. Kurri had jumped from her arms, and was now rubbing lightly against Daisuke's legs.
She did glance behind her once, suddenly seeming to realize someone was behind her. She blinked a couple times, and then moved forward and slightly more out of his way, dragging Ayame along with her.

Katsu waited as patiently as he could, but nonetheless was slightly irritated when the girl just suddenly stopped registering and started conversing with two others who were in the room.
It took a couple of minutes, but the slightly annoying girl noticed that Katsu was standing behind her, and moved out of his way.
The woman at the registration desk looked a bit annoyed too, that the person she was serving just decided to stop registering and start talking to someone else.
"Can I help you?" she asked Katsu, throwing a dirty look at the girl.
"I'm here to sign out." he said. "I'm leaving Mirandal."

The ever paranoid Kisa didn't fail to notice the glances she was getting, and slowly turned, flinching slightly as the woman behind the counter shot her a look. She blinked, and slowly withdrew her arms from Ayame, standing up straight again.
Her green eyes had tinged pink, as well as her cheeks, as she shifted nervously in place. She was about to wander away, when something made her stop.
Her wolf ear twitched when she heard the male's words and she couldn't help speaking. "Why.. are you leaving?" she asked timidly. It wasn't because this place was bad, was it? If there was a good reason for his leaving, then she wanted to hear it..

Ayame felt herself being hugged and she couldn't help but smile! "It has been a long time!" She exclaimed happily, soon feeling herself being dragged along while still in a hug. Though she did let go, noticing the look from the lady behind the counter.
Daisuke crossed his arms, giving a smile to Kisa and Kurri. He bent down to pick up Kurri, rubbing the spot right between the ears on the to pof his head. He figure that cat's liked that, since he enjoyed it when he was in kitty form. Examining the looks that people were giving Kisa, he almost growled as he shot rather nasty looks back at all of them, almost seeming to warn everyone "mess with her, you mess with me." People seemed to stop immedietly, and he went back to smiling, like his usual self. "Yeah, it is good to see you again."
Ayame smiled at Daisuke, watching hom smile back. Ever since he was with her, and she with him, they both have been smiling a lot more. Of course, Ayame was always worried about Him, Amos, and Daisuke's fusion ability... but he always seemed to keep it under control. Then hearing about the boy leaving Mirandal, Ayame was struck with curiousity. Didn't this school have a good reputation?
"I thought this scool had a good reputation?" Daisuke questioned, blinking a few times while his ears twitched. He remembered when he first met Kisa and he was laughed at when his ears twitched. "Argh..." he grumbled, closing his eyes, almost looking annoyed."

Katsu stopped talking to the woman at the counter and turned, slowly, to the girl. She had asked him why he was leaving.
Katsu's first thought was to tell her to mind her own damn business, but that wasn't the most polite thing to do. And besides, she didn't do anything wrong.
"It's... none of your concern why I'm leaving." Katsu said, hesitating. Well actually, it is her concern... she might end up dead if I stay here Katsu thought. But he couldn't tell her this, she looked terrified enough anyways.
"Don't concern yourself with my matters." he added. "It'd be beyond your understanding, anyways."
He turned back to the woman at the counter.

Kurri blinked when Daisuke picked him up, but just allowed it, snuggling lightly into the male's arms. His eyes closed as he began purring upon being pet. Yeah... that felt good.
Kisa turned back to face Ayame for a moment, and then Daisuke. She nodded slightly, eyes green again as she smiled. "Yes, it's good to see both of you," she said, though she was a little quieter than she had been a moment before. Stares really tended to get to her... Though, she guessed that was normal for a lot of people.
She turned to face the male again after a moment, listening quietly until he got to his last few words. Her eyes flashed red for a quick second before turning green again as she glared at him. "Beyond my understanding?" she growled, fangs bearing for a second.
She was sick and tired of people calling her stupid just because she wasn't a full demon. Though, she guessed he might not realize, but still.. He'd struck a nerve.

Katsu turned his head only slightly when he heard the girl growl at him.
"Yes, beyond your understanding. And don't growl, little girl. I'm far more powerful than you. It wouldn't be wise to seek a fight with me." he said. And then, under his breath, more to himself than to her, "not wise at all..."
This girl certainly likes to pry. It'll probably get her killed some day. Katsu thought. He was certainly glad he'd be leaving the school. Now that he thought about it, most of them seemed rather nosey.
A couple of them I might not cry over if I killed them. he started to think, but stopped himself. That was more the dragon talking than himself... right? It had to be...

Kisa glared at him, listening quietly until he'd finished. Her hands were clenching, and she was just barely keeping herself from drawing the rather large sword that hung at her side. Her green eyes had shifted to red again, and now stayed that way.
"Little girl?" she echoed angrily. "You don't look any older than me. And you can't judge someone's power just by looking at them!"
She growled in her throat again, taking a small step back so she wouldn't lunge at him or something. She hadn't even registered yet and she wasn't about to get kicked out for fighting. "..I'm glad you're leaving," she muttered irritably. "Hurry up and go then."

In spite of himself, Katsu snorted. "Sure, I don't look any older than you." he said calmly. "But looks can be deceiving."
He noticed that her hands were just itching to grab the sword that was slung from her side. Katsu looked up at her face, and saw that her eyes had turned a fiery red.
She growled, and took a step back. A step of retreat? Katsu wondered briefly, but squashed the theory. She was obviously too pissed off to retreat. But she was looking rather apprehensive about fighting... what was it that was keeping her from trying to kill me?
"I'm glad you're leaving. Hurry up and go then." she said, with a voice that obviously wasn't trying to conceal her irritance.
There was a fleeting second where Katsu wondered why the dragon wasn't being stirred up in all this excitement, but it must have been laying dormant after its previous attack.
Hmm... maybe this place isn't so terrible, after all. the fire mage thought. Assuming most people are like this stupid girl, it shouldn't be too hard to fill the dragon's quota of fighting... do I really need to leave?
Katsu was having doubts about his motives now, but he didn't let anything show on his face. This girl looked quite easy to push... what was her weak point? One nerve seemed to be hitting her intelligence...?
"Stepping away from me? Smart girl." he said, with only a sly trace of sarcasm.

Kisa continued glaring at him silently, except for the occasional growl that rumbled from her throat. Her clenched hand was resting against the hilt of her sword, but didn't actually grab it. She was keeping herself from doing so.
Her ears were flattened back, eyes still very red and tail somewhat stiff behind her. But then her small black kitten suddenly jumped from Daisuke's arms, and inched forward to begin rubbing against her leg. She blinked, and then glanced down at him.
For a moment she didn't move, almost looking confused. Should she attend to the kitten, or keep her attention upon this guy? But then she suddenly recalled she'd just met up with Daisuke and Ayame again, and slowly turned her face them, her eyes slightly wide.
They faded from red, to pink, and finally back to green as she let out a calming breath and then picked Kurri, the kitten, up from the ground. She craddled the kitten in her arms, glancing back towards the male again.
"Shut up," she snarled. "You're not even worth my time." Though really, she had been about to lose control of herself, but Kurri had caught on and distracted her. Smart kitten..

The girl glared at Katsu for several moments, hand on her sword and ready to draw it at any moment. A small black kitten jumped from one of the other interloper's arms and started snuggling against the girl's leg, and thus broke the furious staring contest.
She looked away from Katsu and scooped the cat up, holding it in her arms. The girl glanced at him and snarled.
"Shut up. You're not even worth my time."
The corners of Katsu's mouth twisted into a small smile. He turned on his heel and headed for the door. The fire mage stopped with his hand on the doorknob.
"Don't worry, the feeling is mutual."
He walked through the door and back into the halls of the school. Maybe there was some fun to be had at Mirandal, after all.

Kisa watched quietly until he had left, biting her tongue to keep from saying anything back when he spoke. Then she let out a long breath and slowly turned, almost reluctantly, until she was facing Daisuke and Ayame again.
She shifted awkwardly in place, her green eyes upon the floor. "S-sorry about that.." she mumbled quietly, ears drooping. She seemed to be calm again though, hands unclenched once more. She was holding Kurri carefully, gently stroking the kitten's back.
