Elder Monk: "unfortunately, the chosen ones have never had such a skill for that kind of power is deemed rather unholy..."
*even as he spoke, an invisible mist drifted amongst the entire group as the wind picked up a bit...*
random monk: "smells like ga..."
*before he could even finish, a gigantic ball of fire rushed towards the arachnid carpet and the people on board, fueled by the gas in the air...*

Bou slapped it to the side, the air pressure of his Cannon sweeping away gas and snuffing out fire alike. Bou tilted his head back and began to sing. "Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride... ain't nothin' gonna slow meeee dowwwwn... OH NO! I got to keep on moooovin'!"

seeing as his attack has failed, the nin responsible retreated for the time being...
Elder Monk: "I guess we made the right choice hiring the best we could find..."
*A while later...*
The group had arrived at the temple and gates opened up to welcome them. The temple was rather well hidden. It was up against a mountain, leaving anyone just one way to approach the temple...For a temple, it actually looked more like a fortress or a keep. The walls were sturdy and tall, but apparently, it was mainly for show since hardly anyone patrolled them. As they approached the actual temple entrance, the monks took the boy and went inside, hoping that the boy will recover enough energy to seal the demon.
Elder Monk: "This is where your contract ends. I humbly thank you two for escorting us safely back to our temple. Your mission asks no more from you. However, if you wish to stay, then you may. In the slight chance that we are unable to seal the demon, I suppose Bou-sama here would be delighted to have such an opponent, although I can hardly say that is advisable. Again, if you wish, we have extra room in our temple over there" The monk points to the far end of a courtyard and proceeds to walk into the temple, with the walls closing behind him..

When Bou had done that little outburst, she'd just slapped a hand to her forehead and..sighed. ONLY Bou. Still, she muses, and shrugs. She nods in thanks to the monks, and goes in to where he points out, and flops down. She'd been fighting and she wanted rest. If there was a demon, then she'd do her best to get what she wanted out of it if it couldn't be sealed; to be honest, the thought gave her both good and bad shivers..though the good were starting to outweight the bad, a LOT. She can't help but grin as she closes her eyes..letting her own semi-demonic visage come out, her 'natural' form..as she rests.

It wouldn't be very long until a bright light was seen from inside the temple doors...no one really knew what sort of hell was breaking loose inside...
but for some reason...the distant hills grew dark...very dark...and upon closer examination...an dark army of...well...freakish-looking...monster...knights(orcs)...were marching towards the temple...
The younger monks ran around screaming really...they were too young to know anything about this...and the newer generations have been slacking off in their training...and now they were afraid to die...
The orc army apparently also consisted of...ogres, battering rams, tower things to get over walls...catapults...yaknow...LOTR Helmsdeep fight...
The monks had lined the walls, but they really didn't know what they were doing...

arrow To the Hot Gates!
Bou was roused by the increased activity in the temple, and made his way to the walls where the monks were gathering, half-dressed as he was.
Bou wore only black linen pants, his belt, and his hair down and out - swirling around him like a mane of silken shadow. Without that daring sneer and his hair done up like some freakish henchmen, he was actually pretty good-looking. Not that that counted for much when fighting the dying demihuman races.
Kumo Bou spit on the wall. "Demihumans, orc-breeds, from the look. Never hear much about them, every year that goes by, you just figger they died out last year in their underground homes..."
Bou made fists out of his right hands and punched them into his open left hands. "Looks like I get to do some killing, after all. More cannon fodder under my belt."

"Didn't they erupt when that incident occured? When all the summonings and demons went awry? That's the rumour I heard. Oh well, doesn't matter. I'll show them how powerful I am by using these techniques. Remember not to get too close. Then again, I have control over what I target.."
And so saying, she folds her arms together, and ash begins to swirl around her body, coming from various pouches and hidden places on her uniform, until they spin about her in a hot, scathing cloud. It's almost comparable to the old stories about the heirs of the sand and their nonchalant demeanor when controlling their element..save Nozomi..has too much of a glint of fun in her eyes despite the stoic face. She's enjoying this chance to go to war. Isnt' that what Sound nin DO?

One of the catapults fired, sending a giant ball of flaming fury towards the temple walls, and the monks erected the same type of wall they had when they first met Bou...a layer of pressurized air that formed something similar to a layer of glass...it was supposedly a technique unique to the temple being that it didn't take up too much of their energy and offered pretty solid protection...
The catapult round would crash into this air wall...and roll off...but then, an orc archer stood atop one of the towers and pulled out an arrow...the arrow twisted and looked more like a drill than anything else...and as he fired it, one could see it distorting the air particles as it hit the barrier...and soon enough, it went through the barrier altogether. The hole caused the entire layer to deflate at an alarming rate, and soon enough, the wall exploded in a powerful gust, blowing several of the monks off the main wall and to the ground below...
Afterwards, the other catapults fired and sent around 19 more giant flaming balls towards the temple wall...

arrow Unless I Miss My Guess, We're In For One Hell of a Night
Bou leapt from the wall, his face wild with anticipation. "Nozomi, handle the incoming and then back me up!" His gauntlets thrummed as he slammed them together before him - the resultant shockwave would throw back any directly beneath him as he landed. As soon as he did, his eyes shifted with a pulse of physical energy...
"Byakuugan!" His fists began to fly like jackhammers, lancing out with his considerable strength and sonic-powered fists. Each blow that connects unleashes a supersonic torrent into the bone structure of his target - shattering their bones and pulping the marrow.

arrow Temple Main Wall Gate area...place...
Bou could knock to death as many orcs as he wanted, but each time he would kill one, it would dissipate into a mist, and another orc would be right behind it...the numbers just kept coming non-stop...and this basically kept Bou limited to that initial area which he had cleared out with his first move...as they would recover any ground that Bou attempted to clear up...keeping him away from the siege weapons...
That same archer again shot an arrow, this time, aimed at Bou, whom he deemed troublesome...the arrow distorted the air around it as it traveled at Bou at incredible speeds...to most nin, it would be impossible to avoid completely...((I Shall use your own kind's arrows against you!!! but then again, that has its downsides -_-))
Several more catapult rounds were fired again, aiming to break the main wall apart...

arrow Hot Gates
The arrow strikes true, bursting a hole in Bou's chest and flying out the other side. Then, Bou himself explodes into a vast net of nearly indestructible spider webs! =Kumoshibari Bunshin= The Spider Bind Clone did its job, though, as the real Bou leapt up from the high ground, his attack prepared.
"Iketsu Hanone Suppai!" As the last syllable left his lips, it was followed instantly by a geyser of slightly grey and green fluid, shooting out like a firehose from Bou's stretched-open mouth. It was a demonic technique that Bou had gone to great lengths to learn and adapt to - the dreaded Thousand-Fanged Acid.
The highly corrosive acid spouted out across the foremost waves of the onrushing horde - each drop enough to kill even the most hardy warrior, armored or shielded however they may be.

arrow Earth and FIRE. You'll find plenty of those down there.
A brief sign was done, before Nozomi leapt up and ran for the parapet. Hand signs were done then, and she closes her eyes, her ash seeming to leap up into the air, before condensing itself into rapidly heating flame, and crashing down violently on a large portion of the enemy force on the ground itself. This is the Magen: Jigoku Koka no Jutsu. The massive ball of fire would collied with enemy forces, making those who fell under the Genjutsu feel as if they were actually on fire. If there was water nearby, using it on themselves would cause the fire to be 'put out' as is the illusion's nature; but those who fail to resist it would die by the flames in their mind; although those that 'die' would simply fall into unconsciousness; catatonia. The experience of burning to death is no fun, after all. Maybe that will cut their ranks apart..

arrow o_O...didn't Komm already use that line somewhere?...Gates...
Those melted by the acid again became dust and vanished...the lines were starting to slow down now...not replacing the fallen as fast as it did before...
As for those who were caught in the genjutsu, those not effected rushed through that group, slashing at the victims, returning them into dust...this was rather odd, because instead of attempting to save their troops, the orcs just killed off the whole bunch and continued their march towards the gates...
Far, FAR in the back of all of this was not an orc, but an old man, with a very long white beard and long white hair, just standing there with his tall white staff...there seemed to something happening behind him, but it was where the canyon curved off to the side, thus hiding the events from view...the orc soldiers just seemed to keep coming however...
suddenly, a dark shadow covered the entire area around the gates and walls...one would now notice that a large amount of archers had lined up at the top of the cliffs facing the wall...and the arrows of a thousand orcs now rained upon them...

arrow Then We'll Fight In The Shade
Bou gritted his teeth. "How annoying!" He looked back to his adopted sister. "HAWKTAILS!"
He turned then, Kumoenkin streaming out from his body - the golden substance forming a massive tower shield of stupid proportions, convex in shape which he allowed to touch the ground. Their arrows, if solid, merely bent, snapped, and turned aside on the golden spider's surface. With Byakuugan still active, Bou could see where all the archers were.
With a burst of chakra, Kumoenkin spines shot out from the shield, firing three to every archer in needle-like fashion.

The needles struck a good number of the archers who couldn't get out of the way, but again, they turned to dust upon being struck, what this dust actually does if it serves a purpose, couldn't be determined as of yet...
But before long, the ground underneath Bou started to crack and crumble. If he would look at the wizard dude, he would see that the man is casting a spell...and before long, a massive amount of earthen spikes shot up out of the ground as the wizard mumbled out "Heaven Drive"...
