DarklingGlory Delmar_Denban Reim Lunaries *twitches....twitches....fingers inch towards bokken...* stressed xD lol, I quit drinking at 17 and haven't touched a drop since. Do you mind if I ask why? Clean living or bad experiences? Clean living is one reason. Lets conduct a little experiment with professor Delmar........ For all of you guys that are old enough to drink next time you go out to your local drinking hole or to a club, just for the one night, don't drink any alcohol. Spend the whole night observing/ people watching and you'll be suprised what you see. When we're pissed up we like to think we're in control and that we're switched on but in truth we don't have a clue. Look at peoples behavior change throughout the night and then look at them at the end of the night when people leave the club. Observe the drama, the tears and the needless violence that results from their foolishness. I've spent years "people watching". When i'm out with a group of people I see potential threats develop and defuse them if needs be by either by avoidance, talking down a situation or with crushing pre-emptive violence (but only as a last resort). One of my instructors once said to me: "When I'm working the doors I know i've got the advantage, when I fight an opponant i have the edge because i'm sober and they're pissed, I ******** train, they don't". If you train hard, stay switched on and keep your cool you'll always have the advantage. Personally I hate alcohol from what i've seen it do to people. It should be a class 'A' drug due to the way it can turn Joe/Josephine public into violent scum. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad if one minute they were trying to hug you and the next they're trying to stick a glass in your face.

Most of time though, we just create our own troubles, where drinking is just one of the tools. Delmar_Denban Clean living is one reason. Lets conduct a little experiment with professor Delmar........ In his first movie, the scene in the apartment he completely anti-bullshido's the detectives, and I feel the same way in tricking forums then he does in the police stations.

12/18/2004 Laguna Hills, Ca...Thunder Foot gets in an involuntary scuffle. I will give you all the short version... Me and a friend were out on a food run from a kickback, as all the food had been eaten. So we decide to stop off at IN-&-OUT, a local burger spot in near the Laguna Hills Mall. Well, just as we arrive we come to find out that they closed at 1:30AM. On our search to find somewhere else, we start leaving the Mall area. Well, as we are leaving, I spot a car in the distance with its hazards on within the Mall parking lot, and what looks like two figures in somewhat of a confrontation. Since I wasn't driving, I tell my friend to roll over there to see what exactly is going on. As we approach, I could see two black people... one, a tall man about 6'4-6'5 maybe 250-260lbs, and a woman about 5'5-5'7 about 130-140lbs. Well, as we're driving up, they were yelling at each other at the top of their lungs. Just as we pulled up, the male strikes the woman in the face, and she proceeded to kick him and whatnot. By this point we're maybe 15ft away, and I get out of the car, and start lookin to see whats going on. My first thought was maybe it was a rape attempt, but the woman didn't behave like she was a rape victim. Standing behind the car door after we have flashed our lights on them, I yell at them to question what is exactly going on. By now, my good sumeritan heroic instincts have begun to kick in, but I didn't want to make any sudden moves. Well, the male started yelling all sorts of obscenities at me saying its none of my business, and attempted to approach the car. The woman proceeded to hold him back, yelling at him to stop and telling us that she can handle herself... ultimately yellin at us to leave. After a small yelling conversation with this dude, he ends up breakin free, at which point my friend starts getting outta the car. He heads right towards myself, which I'm standing behind the car door. Shocked that he was bold enough to even come after me, I just stood there calmly waiting for him. When he got within range, I opened the car door right on him, which sent him back. Stepping out from behind the door, I tell the dude politely to calm down, there's no need for violence... being the nice guy that I am (mistake). At this point the woman is screaming at the top of her lungs, telling me she can handle herself. After regaining himself, he guns for me again, this time trying to shoot for my legs, at which point I instantly sprawled, while attempting to punch him on the way down. After a knee strike, and a few seconds of wrestling around, I was able to get him into an Americana... at which point he was pretty much immobilzed. Well, as this was going down, my friend was trying to calm the woman, because it seemed that maybe they were boyfriend and girlfriend, and were possibly having a fight or some sort. After he saw the guy attempt to rush me, he ran around the side of the car. Well, after I had the dude pinned, he decides to hit the guy on the crown of his head. Being the hothead that he is, he not only hits the guy while he's down, he had on a pair of Brass Knuckles on that he picked up from Tijuana Mexico the weekend before. The knuckles unfortunately split the poor guy's head wide open, in which there was blood everywhere. He seemed to be knocked out from the hit, and after a few repeated hits from my friend, I managed to get up and stop him from hitting the guy any further. After this, I quickly apologized to the woman who attempted to try hitting me as another vehicle approached from the far distance. We then got into the car and exited the scene with the quickness.
Hopefully the guy was ok...

The best thing you can do is firstly burn everything you and your friend were wearing and tell him to dispose of the brass knuckles.
Then visit the car park at night while wearing hoody and check to see if the car park has survilence cameras.
I'd also lay low for a while.
The best thing to do next time you see something like that, call out from a distance and ask the lady if she wants help. Chances are she'll tell you to ******** off if it's a domestic. If she does then walk away.
If she tells you that she wants help that intervein if you want to. If you have somebody with you tell them to call the police as you intervein. That way if it turns ugly your back is covered.

Too lighten the tone a bit I did it 3nodding I graded to 4th kup blue belt in taekwondo! and got such a buzz doing it! It was quite hard going which really adds to the satisfaction of passing! I got 6 off an A grade - lost out during the sparring set..I really need more confidence...I look at where the attacks coming from instead of focusing on one area of the opponent from which u can see where and when the attacks are coming. We got grilled on the theory side of things and i did great! the line work was hard going. we did lots of patterns. and lots of power tests
too be continued as have discovered am late for work!

We had flashed our lights on them, and they were still swinging... so I assumed that the female was being taken advantage of.. hence why I intervened. As far as cameras... none within the parking lot, only one near the Deprtment stores which way to far to view our location. I'm still angry with my friend though, because there was no need for all that brutality.. let alone a double on the guy AFTER I had him pinned, ridiculous. But anyway, these black on black crimes need to stop.

DarklingGlory Yeah thats what I thought about it, did you give your mate a slap after? Riskin that guys life and your freedom... I really couldn't because he was only lookin out for my safety, I suppose. Just had a long drawn out conversation about why he HAD to pull the brass out. Other than that, we're cool. I'd like to think that we are better people for trying to help the lady, rather than knocking out her significant other. Told my Guro about it, and he also gave me commendments on it.
