mine aint ugly... Ive got a tux, its kinda hard to play the viola in a tux tho...

I love our new uniforms! Our old ones were kinda plain. They were; a blue jacket that zipped and buttoned up the front, black velvet cowboy hats and then black pants. Very plain. But the new ones rock out loud!
We have black and white gaunlets and Black gloves then we have blue jackets with a white velvet sash that goes over the front, it has rinestones on it for a pretty feel (all the guys look smexy lol) anyway we still have the original pants but our hats are new. They're the kind college bands use with the plumes on top. Im not sure if i spelled that right. As soon as i get a picture i'll post it.

Ours are awesome. They are orange, brown, and white. It is put together very well.

I like ours! ^^ Our school colors are teal and black. So our uniforms are black teal and white. We wear our hats with the plumes (Which I don't think are just for colleges... ???). We have a teal sash that hangs from one shoulder to the next. I like them! ^^ They aren't as snazzy as some but our playing makes up for the somewhat plain uniform.  Do you think it's ugly? And do you know who we are? From az?((btw, this was the best pick I could find on my computer of our uniforms... *sigh*))

And they have those black pants that have built in suspenders they're like... freaking body suits or something,
and we have to wear this short jacket thing it sorta'
looks like an army coat... like how they were long ago. And well, i hate them. mad
....Where do you go to school, because that's exactly what ours look like...f'kin itchy hot wool sh't Yeah, same question...except ours aren't wool, soo....

 you can't see the pants, but they are black and have a red and white stripe going down the sides...and I didn't have the gloves at this time... I like our uniforms....

Our band uniform isn't that bad. They're actually relatively new. Black overalls... heh... with a big blue and silver jacket on top and some silver gauntlets and a huge fuzzy hat. 3nodding

I am still new on the marching lingo, since this is my first year on the band. But uh... what is fast carry? O_o?

Ok, I am from Michigan, and, For band camp we go to Michigan State University, and It is the way we get on the field and get off the field. Mr. Neuch (pronounced, Nick) Had to ask permission to use it since it is their move...and they said yes. So anyhow, you can call it fast carry, or you can call it Kick step. What you do is the cadence will start and then the drum major will blow a whistle, and then you say AND UP, then you wait for the little drum thing to be done, and on 2 and 4 you yell up up ~your arms are at a 90 degree angle~ and your arms go up and your right leg goes up...so when you yell up up, your legs and arms correspond to it....then you keep doing it till you get into the right formation, then you are halted by a whistle... 3nodding

College bands are definately not the only ones with plumes. Our uniforms have plumes too, but we call them chickens because the band director said that once instead of feathers.
