Her own breath comes out in ragged gasps. Shivering, Rikku ducks her head into his neck & tries to get her pulse to quiet, her breathing to calm. "Maybe... that swim..."
Her fingers lightly play with the short blonde hairs at the base of his head, but not with the intensity of before. More calming, soothing in their ministrations. The Al Bhed for once not disappointed at having to stop; As if at peace that they can always kiss again later.

Naruto nods slowly, slowly slipping Rikku off his lap. A swim sounded perfect, it would help cool down his overly heated body, "I'm going to go put my swimming trunks on..." he whispers and bolts over to the tent and starts to rummage around his pack for his trunks.

Nodding at Naruto's words & retreat, the Al Bhed fumbles with her SphereGrid & changes to thief. Her body still feels all electrified as she undresses down to her bikini. Suddenly she giggles. And to think I was once afraid of lightning! Ruto makes me feel like I've been struck again & again, the energy that he sends through me!

Naruto comes back out in just a pair of sky blue trunks and he runs to the water, splashing in as he lets out a woop of a cheer. He dives down under, feeling the coolness start to take away that heat that seemed to be taking over his body.

Green eyes dancing Rikku laughs outright. Just in case, she stops by the tent, grabs a flattened blue & white form curved circle, takes it to the hovercycle. Hitting a few buttons on the cycle pops out a small hose which the Al Bhed attaches to the ball. Setting the pressure with a few more buttons Rikku waits & the ball fills to perfection in a matter of moments. Gripping the nubbed ball she throws it into the lake & runs to follow her best friend into the cool water. She dives in after Naruto, swimming under the surface.
Rikku swims as far as she can underwater before coming up for air. Then with a smile & a flick of her tail she takes off to do a lap of the lake.
She might be cooling down, but Rikku finds she has far more energy than normal.

Naruto quickly surfaces from the water, shaking his head about to get water from his eyes and his hair. Turning around to see Rikku swimming around the lake, he decides to leave her be and he floats on his back, closing his blue eyes for a moment, a soft smile on his face as he feels the sun shine down on him.

She swims until she feels her body tiring. then slowly paddles to Naruto's side. "It's such a gorgeous day... but it'll get hot in the afternoon, doncha think?"

Naruto opens his eyes and moves about so he is floating next to Rikku and he nods to her, "Yea, summer isn't over yet!" he says happily. He looks over to the strange looking ball as it floats past and he points to it, looking confused, "What's that? Some type of volleyball?" he asks.

"That, my bested friend in the whole world, is a Blitzball!" The Al Bhed grinned happily. "For if you wanna learn a bit how to play. If the Aurochs could practice in the ocean, we can play in a lake! And later you can see the stadium my family plays in! Maybe play with us!"
Suddenly, she was not as tired as she thought.

Naruto reachs over and grabs the Blitzball in his hands and he turns it around, looking a little confused, "I've heard you mention something about Blitzball a few times, but what is it exactly?" he asks, looking over to her.

Rikku scrunched up her face. "Blitzball is Blitzball!" As the only sport on Spira, she was quite at a loss of how to explain it. Rikku sighed. "Trel said when explaining it to the others before our family's game that it was kinda like a mix of football, soccer, & volleyball all rolled into one & played underwater." She shrugged. "But I don't really know what those others are."

Naruto looks incredibly confused when she says 'Blitzball is Blitzball' cause that really didn't explain it at all to him. But when she started mentioning other games, he gets a happy look of understanding on his face, "So it's a game!! An underwater game, right?" he says, hoping he is right.

"Yeah!" Rikku clapped her hands happily, a little squeal of joy escaping her. "Two teams play each other in a huge sphere of water, trying to get the ball into the other team's goal! There's lots of swimming & passing & fancy moves." She nodded, thinking about games she had watched and played in.
"In the pro's they sometimes sues status effect moves, but Trel doesn't like us using or even practicing those. Which is fine by me."

Naruto listens as he spins the ball a bit on the tips of his fingers, "A sphere of water? Isn't that sorta dangerous, I mean, wouldn't they have to come up and breath eventually?!" he asks, wondering how they could play such a sport underwater.

Rikku giggled, & pulled her breathing apparatus from where it was tucked under her bandana. "That's why we use these! Trel says they must work like gills in pulling the oxygen out of the water for us to use. The Al Bhed have long since forgotten how they work. Of course, these breathers were one of the few "permitted" technological things under the watchful eyes of Yu Yevon." A cloud passed her face briefly but then she smiled. "I can get you a breather easily! I think I've a spare on the cycle, if you want it later!"
He could have it now... but Rikku did not feel like leaving the water just yet to get it.
