Takai nodded. "Sorry, I couldn't tell..." he said looking at the glass. He nodded. Takai started to wonder why he didn't notice the cup was there. Was he really that much out of it. He shook his head lightly, and raked his fingers through his hair. He followed to younger cat boy down the stairs to breakfeast.

"Look who's here! and im awake!" Shinji smiled and announced as him and his friend were coming down the stairs.
"shut up, we already know both of those facts, you don't need to announce them..." Tsuji said finishing his pancakes.
Seishin and Seizon rubbed their ears.
"do you really have to talk so loud?" Seishin asked.
"especially in the morning" Seizon added.
"maybe" Shinji smiled and put the glass in the sink," have a seat and enjoy breakfast Takai" Shinji opened a one of the many doors in the cabinets in the kitchen and pulled out some cough medicine. Shinji shut the cabinet and walked over to the table," will this do? he handed the bottle to Takai.

"Ummm.... Sorry for coming here so... unannounced, Tsuji..." Takai said. He soon covered his mouth with his hand as another coughing fit started.
Takai took a seat in a free chair. He watched as Shinji got the medicine. As he was handed the medication, he looked at the liquid stuff with distaste. He sighed and read the back. He hated the taste of medication. He popped open the lid and took a quick swig, not caring if it was over the amount he was supposed to take. He quickly swallowed and just sat there, not touching any food or drinks.

"it's fine," Tsuji said, "especially if your sick..." he picked up his plate and brought it and put it in the sink.
"Takai! your not supposed to drink it!" Shinji exclaimed staring at Takai in awe,"how can you stand it drink it," he stared still in awe.

Takai nodded to Tsuji. "Thanks...." he said.
Takai smiled a little nervously at Shinji. "Heh, I dunno. I've always done it, and guessed at the doseage..." Takai said, closing the lid to the cough medicine bottle.

"I really dont care who comes here anyways... as long as they don't bother me..." Tsuji said and went upstairs to his bedroom.
"That's dangerous Takai..." Shinji said looking down at the medicine.
"Done!" Seishin and Seizon stared at eachother panting, having scarfed down all of their breakfast," who won?!"
"how many times do we have to tell you two? no racing when eating!" Shinji sighed.
"we know" they smiled and took their dishes to the sink.

Takai smiled at Shinji. "I haven't died yet," he replied.
He laughed lightly at the twins. "You two were tied," he said and started on his breakfeast. "Aren't you going to eat, Shinji?" He asked, noticing that the blue cat hadn't sit down to eat yet.

"I know, but still, you should be more careful" Shinji said. Shinji looked down at the food,"Yeah I guess i'll eat something," he sat down and put two pancakes on his plate and poured syrup all over his plate, soaking his breakfast in sugary syrup,"mmm," Shinji stuck his tongue out on the right side of his mouth.
"Awww!" Seishin and Seizon wined while putting their dishes in the sink, they decided to go outside to play, "Bye Shinji! Bye Takai!" they waved and ran out the door.

"Sorry," Takai said, before taking a bite of his pancake. He really didn't mean to worry or burden Shinji and his family. He competly forgot that Shinji said he shouldn't apoligize so much. He waved lightly as the girls left.

Shinji started eating his pancake, unfortunatly for him, syrup was flying, dripping and running all over the place,"oh crap!" he said after noticing that he was covered in syrup"might as well finish, then go clean up" he smiled a little and finished his breakfast.

Takai tried to hold back a laugh as he saw how Shinji ate. Unfrtunatly, it didn't work, and he bust out luaghing. His throat didn't hurt that much, so he didn't really need to cough.

Shinji looked up at Takai who was laughing at him while he ate. Shinji blushed lightly and took his dishes to the sink.

"I'm sorry," Takai laughed and calmed himself to finish him meal. "I really am..." He said after calmed down. He felt sorta bad now.

"It's all right," Shinji said and smiled slightly at Takai from the kitchen sink. "I don't really get to have anyone over at my house besides my brother and sisters so it's actually kind of fun to hear someone else's laugh" Shinji smiled.

Takai smiled at the works and finished eating. He took his dishes to the sink and turned on the water to rinse the various dishes. "Plus... you can look at it this way. At least you taste good," Takai said, starting to wash the dishes by hand.
