His skin rippled as a chill danced through him, though hard on it's heels was a wash of relief and joy so fierce he thought he would leap right out of his skin. He cuddled as close to her as he was able, rumbling lovingly.
He paused a moment to wonder what Tashika would think about him finally settling into this land he had come to know as home, finding a mare he wanted to be with always... Would she be amused? Shocked? As joyous as he was? He shrugged... Nothing mattered but Firefly...
"I would do anything for you..." He snorted laughingly. "Even make a fool of myself..."

She kept her head tucked under his chin as long as she could. Idly nibbling on stray strands of his mane. Her long tail flicking back and forth happily. After all this time of roaming the lands alone she had finally found someone to spend the rest of her days with. A small giggle eminated from her as she pulled her head back just a bit to give an upwards look. "Oh, so now you'd do anything that would make a fool out of you."

Sibalto laughed and moved close to her once more, rubbing his silken side against her length and nuzzling her neck. "I'd it anyway, so long as you asked it of me.. Tis one of the things I fear..."
He winked and pranced a few paces away. "Shall we return to our two-leggers?"

Firefly's body shivered as he rubbed up against her. "One of the things you fear? Why would you fear it?" A chargrin expression came to her face as she trotted to catch up with him. "That sounds like a good idea."

He winked at her. "Because what good reputation I have, can be ruined at the drop of a hoof..."
He nuzzled her gently. "Good.. Erm.. Will your two legger, approve of me?"

She gave an almost thoughtful look as she thought about it for a second before giving another wide grin. "Yes...I believe you are right. That is something to be fearful of then." Firefly nuzzled him back and nipped at a lock of his mane for a moment. "I'm sure she will. As long as I'm happy she's happy...."

He chuckled softly and relaxed. Well, at least meeting their two-leggers should be easy enough... Perhaps even pleasant... His heart lightened and he nuzzled her, beginning a slow and easy walk. He was in no rush to speak to anyone, and rather enjoyed and easy walk with his mate. "Good... I'm, glad..."

Firefly gave a soft sigh as she nuzzled him back. Her long tail moveing back and forth lazily as she kept up with his relaxed pace. She was glad that this had all worked out. It had felt like it took forever just to get here, but the wait was worth it. Now she had someone to be with forever. "I wonder how they'll react though..." She giggled lightly and nuzzled his neck tenderly as they walked.

Sibalto paused, one hoof in the air, and cocked his head. His ears twitched, listening intently. They were nearly to his clearing, nearly to Tashika's Teepee. He could hear her talking softly to herself, and what words he caught did not sound good... Not good at all...
"I'm afraid we're about to find out." He said glumly, listening to her mumble about 'Mate Gifts' and almost swearing he heard something about foals.
Foals. The idea made his head spin. Why did two legger's do that? How did she even know? Just the other day she had mentioned he would never find a mare if he never went looking... And she had mentioned foals then too!

An eyebrow raised as he stopped. She herself stopping with him. Her ears swivled around as she listened to the faint sounds of a voice nearby. Though she couldn't quite pick up on what was being said. She gave a tug of his mane and motioned to start walking again. "The way you said that makes it sound like a bad thing.."

"Tashika thinks I don't get out and socialize enough..." He explained as he continued walking... "She's always talking about how I should join a herd or..."
He trailed off with a blush. "Anyway... I'm just, worried... She can be, overenthusiastic..."
He gave a little shrug and picked up a trot. Best to get over there and get it all over with, if she was going to embarass him... He sighed then drew a deep breath, trumpeting the whinny that let her know he was returning home.
Tashika paused in mid-weave, brushing her hair back behind her ear and blinking. Once. Twice. Three times. She blinked, then scrambled to her feet with a hiss. Shoving everything into her teepee and yanking the tent flap closed she brushed the white fibers for weaving baskets into a pile, amethyst eyes darting back and forth. A small dream catcher still sat in the open, and she snatched it up quickly, tossing it into the teepee and into a half-woven basket.
Wouldn't do to let him see all that! The fibers sitting out front looked harmless enough. Plain to be used in a carrying basket. Yes. That was it.. She needed a new carrying basket.. Or a basket to hold a gift for Foalen.. After all, she couldn't weave foal-baskets without meeting the mother...
She giggled softly to herself. Sibalto was shy about the topic, which made her bring it up again and again.
"Ohsiyo." She called as her great dappled stallion thundered into the open ground that marked the end of the woods. A handful more of steps would put him in the shallows of the river, but he executed a graceful turn and stood before her. "Sibalto."

Firefly picked up the trot as well. Keeping with Sibalto for the time being. But as they neared the area where his two legger was waiting, she fell back a few steps. Just enough to let Sibalto get there first before she came along with him. Her pace slowed to an easy walk as she caught sight of the strange looking two legger. It made her wonder how Atsila was doing, but she knew eventually they'd find their way to her teepee as well. She stopped suddenly as they reached the teepee area. These places where the two leggers lived always looked odd and out of place to her.

Sibalto nosed Tashika's delicate hands, rumbling a greeting as her delicate fingers rubbed his face and danced down his neck. He turned his head a bit and let her scratch under his mane, then nosed her hands gently. "Ohsiyo..."
With her odd coloring, Tashika had lived by herself for some time.
"Ohsiyo." Tashika smiled to the dark mare, surprised to have such a lovely visitor.
She gave Sibalto a gentle push on the shoulder, glad when he stepped out of her way so she could see the mare better. She bowed her head in greeting to.
Glacing at Sibalto, she arched an eyebrow, then smiled. "A new friend?"

She raised an eyebrow slightly as the smaller two legger approached her. The words she spoke were hard to understand as she, like others didn't quite understand the human talk as her exposure to humans was limited. She could only guess that perhaps it was some kind of greeting. Bobbing her head slightly, she knickered softly before giving a quick glance to her mate.

"She greeted you." Sibalto confirmed, a faint pink tinge coloring his silver face. He blushed at her 'New Friend' Question, and snorted. He shook his head and nosed Tashika. "And she's teasing me."
Why did he tell his mate that? He laughed softly and rumbled a reply to his twolegger.
"Firefly?" Tashika echoed, glancing at the mare, then back to her stallion. "She's very lovely...."
Sibalto rumbled, pleased, and relayed the remark to his mate with another nuzzle. So far, Tashika's eyes were glinting happily and Firefly didn't seem to mind her, so he guessed the meeting was going well... Tashika -for the most part- wasn't being too embarrassing....
"My thanks..."
