I guess I'd choose a castle for me also but, I would make it in a different way than a castle was made back then. I think I would have a room inside made just for movie night. A really large projection screen and lots of seats so my friends could join in. Too bad I don't have a pic of what I would like my castle to look like. cry

NEW QUESTION OF THE WEEK:

What, if anything, would you like to see made into a great medieval/fantasy movie with your favorite actors?

Be sure to tell us who are yer fave actors as well and if there are any other actors you would cast for said movie as well (even if they're not yer favorites).

I don't have an answer for my own question right now so, go!

I don't know about what I would want to see made into a movie, but I was very happy that they cast Sean Connery as King Arthur in First Knight. 3nodding

My novels! I know that might sound a little arrogant but I get trailer images in my head and it's just exciting. I just want to be known for good work you know? Money isn't the issue.

Cool! That's another thing we have in common Mel, the trailers in our heads. Hey! Maybe we should go live in a trailer park somewhere in the US eh? lol

He-he, yeah Mel. Anyways, New Question for the Week:

If you could have a copy of the script of any fantasy movie out there, which one would it be and why?

If anyone has any question to ask, feel free to do so cuz I barely have time to come these days. I hope I will get more next month though...

Quote:
The sword was a standard fighting weapon long before the evolution of the medieval knight. Nevertheless, the medieval knight found the sword to be an effective weapon. Medieval swords usually were made from a mild steel (low carbon steel). Most swords were double-edged, and featured a crossguard, hilt, and pommel. Many surviving examples of medieval swords feature some form of engraving, such as a prayer, or the sword owner's name. How elaborate the sword was decorated depended upon its owner's wealth, with some of the more intricate ones encrusted with jewels and fine engravings.

If you could design your own sword what would it look like?

How's that for a question Hypno?

Wow! Cool Question Jen! 2 thumbs up!

Hmm, that's such a good question I'm having trouble imagining how it should look like. GOD! It's too bad I am awful at drawing otherwise I would do a sketch and post it here or something.

User Image
My sword would be similar to that one.

I don't think I would want to own a copy of any of the movie scripts, the books do such a better job. heart

I would love to see The Mallorean made into a movie.
Kathrine Zeata Jones as Polgara.
Antonio Bandaraz as Silk.
Sean Conery as Belgarath.
Tommy Lee Jones as Asharak the Murgo Grolim.
mrgreen

I would live in a well made cottage in the middle of nowhere, living off the land.

My familiar would be a Silver Wolf. I am captivated by wolves and the way they live. The closest thing I have to a familiar is my Sweet Black Lab Polgara she is 3 years old and still acts puppyish. She is adorable.

The things I hear about most for fantasy would be the books.
My sister and I read the same authors and trade books etc.

My Lady
Edward the King
Injury caused by war
Elegant Dresses
Valiant souls
Ale
Love

Forests
Anger and revenge
Nome
Trouble
Angelic Characters
Silver Arrows
Yomen
