As they talked a high pitched squeel came from down the hall, and then got louder and louder, until the source of it, a tiny redheaded two year old came running into the room. A red plastic spoon held tightly in his hand, which he used to jab at people's legs.

Anc raised an eyebrow. He hated kids, mostly for the whole love of squealing. He contemplated tripping him, but being as that'd piss Arch off, too... Well, he didn't.

Kikryu smiled, momentarily forgetting about her dilemma and admiring the small boy. She'd always loved kids, but she's conceded that she would probably never have one of her own. Sighing inwardly, she propped her feet up on the bed, resting her head on her updrawn knees and watching the little boy.

Arch glanced down at the kid, raising an eyebrow. Now he was in a dilema. He couldn't very well yell and curse at the woman in the bed without making the kid cry, which he wanted nothing to do with. Also, the woman was just looking for food, so she was obviousley new to the town, not realising most food was free. Arch scrunched his face in frustration at the lack of options.
"Fine, ye'll be fed, jus' don't make the kid cry."

Kikryu laughs softly, she wouldn't make the kid cry, or try not to, if her life depended on it. Wishing to touch the little boy, but afraid to with all the people watching her so closely she cautiously scooted over to the edge of the bed she was at, nearest to them she crouched down, her long silver hair falling out of its bun and surrounding her face, "Hi sweetie.." She crooned softly, not paying any attnetion to the older people in the room now. "And whats your name?" She asked softly, trying her best not to do anything to scare the adorable child.

He was by no means happy at the intrusion, and showed said with a very uncommon protective, fatherly ((Though if he knew I described it as such, he'd kill me)) approach. And by over there, he meant the opposite side of the room, away from the bed and Aaron.

Ruby was back to sleep, in Arch's arms, completely unaware of what was happening around her. She mumbled a few things in French, but otherwise was quiet and unresponsive.
Aaron glanced around at the new people with interest and a grin on his face, he had his mother's dimple, and was fearless in a social circle. He stuck out his tongue at Anc, after looking way up at him. Then stabbed Anc's leg with the plastic spoon, jumping away towards the others before vengeance ensued.
Kikryu immediatley caught his attention and he walked a bit closer. He glanced at Kikyru's hair, his hands closing and opening with an urge to touch the silvery stuff. "Awwn" He spoke in question to his name. He gave her a little giggle and smile, already learning to manipulate the opposite sex. "Cookie?"
As Arch began growling orders, Aaron felt the attention move away from him, and his eyebrows lowered over his grey eyes, not pleased at all. He pulled back his fist and threw the red spoon at Arch, with a curt "b***h."

((Arch's eyes narrowed with rage as he threw Ruby at the little kid, drawing his wing blades and charging after the brat, swinging at him. ))Arch then began to laugh, chuckling deeply at the little child, who's first word was prolly insulting someone.

Kikryu ((You thre Ruby, Nate!! God, yer such a horrible protector...))Kikryu grabbed the small little boy in her arms, cradling him close to her body, her hiar near his small fists so he could play with it and crouched next to Ruby. Leaning slightly over the womans body on the floor, and running her slim fingers through the little boys hair gently, she kissed the top of his head lightly keeping her eyes on Arch the whole while.
((Kay, not sure if he actually spread his wings and was using them as his weapon, because i know he can,, but i don't think their covered anyway, right? So she could still say this about his wings..))His wings were huge, even larger than her own. And she knew she'd be no match for the man ever. Shuddering slightly she cuddled the boy closer, she didn't know the youngling, but she already felt like her heart would have been torn out if he had really gotten hurt. She doubted the man would actually hurt the boy, he'd behaved more like a father that had just been thwarted by his only son than someone out to cause the adorable boy any pain. ((HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAHHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Oh god, can't stop laughing.... that worked perfectly!
