Lena rolled her eyes and sighed as she turned back around in her chair, and just stared down at the table, hoping that Arista would just leave

Liam stayed with his eyes on his sister, who rolled/crossed her eyes. You bore me...You have definitely changed, Liam. she sighed. You used to love the taste of blood as well, you know. she said, gesturing at him before swirling around and sauntering back to the door. And I, for one, will never let you forget who you really are, brother. she said before slipping out the door.
Liam sighed and curled forward, letting his head rest on the cool surface of the table.

Lena looked toward the door, then down at Liam as she asked "Liam... what's she talking about...." she continued to look down at him with a rather confused expression on her face

Liam hesitated a moment before looking with sad eyes to Lena.
I...come from a line of sort of... he paused to sort through his mind and gather his words before continuing. demigods. he said with a sigh. My mother...is the daughter of a god...And...well...I guess...that's why it's so easy for all of to use magic and such... he said, his throat tightening as he tried to speak.

Lena sat dumbfounded for a moment just looking at Liam trying to process what he'd just said... after a bit she finally said "Um... I... I don't really even know what to say...." she sighed and bit at her bottom lip, frustrated by her loss for words

Liam's shoulders sunk some as he hung his head. I shouldn't have said anything...now she's going to think I'm a complete freak... he beat into his head silently. Why did Arista have to come here...She only ruins everything for people because she doesn't like when people are happy and she's not... he complained, still to nobody but himself.
He then heaved a sigh and looked to Lena, his eyes sincere and saddened. I should have told you from the start...it's just... not something I've been proud of... he said. We ... don't age. he said, looking down again. We can be put at different stages in life, but...years don't matter...they don't affect any of us... he said, swallowing a softball sized lump in his throat.

Lena smiled down to Liam as she said "Well... I guess that could create some problems... but I still love you anyway"

Liam looked to Lena with glossy eyes. Do you still love me? he asked, needing all the reassurance he could get. Because...I love you...live I've never loved anyone before... he said, his voice somewhat shaky. And...maybe...There's a way to fix whatever problems come up... he said with a hopeful tone. Maybe...if I were to go to my grandfather...he could find a way to keep you the same age too, if you wanted...or make me age like a mortal...

Lena's smile brightened as she said "Of course I do... you're still the same person... so what you're different... that doesn't matter at all... and honestly I don't care... aging or not... as long as we're together..."

Liam looked at Lena a long time before moving to hold her tightly, saying nothing as nothing needed to be said in this moment.

Lena just smiled and held onto him for a moment before kissing him on the cheek and saying "It'll work... we'll make it work.... but I don't think I ever wanna talk to your sister again..." a nervous laugh escaped her mouth

Liam laughed at Lena's statement and hugged her tighter. That's okay...I don't either. he said, nuzzling his head to hers. And we will make this work... he said with a sigh, pulling away to look Lena in the eyes. Because I love you...and...I think I'd be willing to be stripped of my powers to be 'normal' with you... he said, blushing some.

Lena sighed and said "I could never ask you to do that... I mean you'd be giving up alot... and... I dunno.... Didn't you say there's a way.. or that there might be a way... for me to be like you...." she paused a moment before laughing nervously and said "cause... well, then we really could be... together forever" she smiled trying to lighten the mood a bit...

Liam paused a moment and smiled brightly as he thought of what Lena was saying. That...would definitely be my first choice. he said, pulling her hand to kiss it softly.
