6th grade begining band!!!!!
IM in middle school
except my distric has a screwed up sistem
elementry (k-4th)
middle (5-6)
Jr. high (7-9)
Sr.high (10-12)

im in eigth grade. in wind ensemble thank you very much smile
we have a concert in march... and then we also have a competition later in march, we doing
Bachanale
Flourish for wind band
and Lux Arumque (light and Gold)
the are sweet songs
id recommend Flourish for wind band cause it sounds the coolest lol
and you guys have to tryout for wind ensemble because there is no sucky players, and sucky players are just annoying

I'm a flute, though my band isn't really that good. We have an awesome flute-playing director, but the flutes didn't start getting good until this year. Last year, I just joined, and my stand partner who had been playing flute for a year couldn't even read music!
Hopefully, I think they got better this year... or quit for a different elective scream

ok soo im in high school and ive went through middle school band and gawd i hated it with a passion. our director was such a pervert. There was this blond flute player (yeah she was dumb) and everytime she questioned something he always came back with a sexual comment. And my eighth grade year we get this award for who was the director's best choice and some girl got it that didn't even do anything! all she did was come in, no one would notice her and poke like maybe 5 notes on the bass keyboard bc we didn't have a tuba scream There were a whole lot of more ppl who could of gotten it including myself bc we worked our butts off for him.

i am! it sucks to! im in one of the worlds worst trumpet sections! theres myself and a couple of other good trumpets and thats all! i so cant wait for high school because there all the trumpets are amazing!

I'm in 8th grade. I can't wait to move to high school band. Most people in the band I'm in aren't very good, but we're all still above average middle school bands. The new percussion section this year blows. emo

I'm in 8th grade, (the only bassoon in my district) but I play with the high school band ^_^
though I'm bummed that both the middle school and high school band directors retired crying
