Got a different idea.....Its called a crossbow gun. Basically its a crossbow on steroids.....Its a crossbow that shoots out bullets the size of a soda can (OK a little smaller....) Its mostly designed to take down the large prey and takes skill to use and reload...however it can hold six shots...

Roka_Shotar Man, I love Jhovam. Question - is there any other active male slave? I'm active, but not really a slave. sweatdrop Anyway, I was freed so, ya... even if I was a real slave, not any more.

Kazoo's character Aimus was also where your character is now, but his last post is back on page five of the Katrina thread. If you want to PM him and ask him if he is still there, that would be great. He can jump back in any time, we'll just say that he stayed behind with the dragons.
As far as the crossbow, does one like that actually exists? I'd love to see a picture if it does. I think a regular crossbow would be more practical for hunting unless perhaps he is hunting bears. Just a thought. That still sounds like a weapon that they could construct so have at it. It may be a bit unusual though so be prepared to make up something IC if a character asks you where and why you got it rofl

thanks for the update on dragon magic! I changed some large images to URLs and there is a new visual aid for dragon magic compliments of roka here
(roka has moderator status in the guild)

Tesunie That may work... rofl Worth a try, right? It is always worth a try to bug Penden. It is wonderfully fun! Anywho, I am really loving Jhovam right now. He is a slave through and through, without thoughts of rebellion or freedom. He was raised as a slave, and he planned to live his life as a slave. Very realistic in the setting, I believe.

Either that or it could be a family trait/traditional weapon.
