And Flare, noticing the UGH soldiers, would toss a fireball at one of them before running like hell, weaving and moving randomly. She was slowed down by the wounds she'd gotten already...and winced as another bullet thudded solidly into her left arm.
She didn't expect the fireball to hit. She just wanted to gain ground to the fortress, and cover.

Kraun ((I assume this means you descended before the UGH were able to take cover in the surrounding ruins? Otherwise, they'd be completely scattered and not in groups.)) ((When I called them "groups" in my post, I was using that as a term to describe the remaining couples of UGH's that would still be able to give eachother visual cues- I realize they scattered. Edit: I have no clue where you are IRL, so I'm taking off for half an hour to an hour. Assume Stryphe dove and hid himself after the attack and that the dragon dispelled (meaning it dissapeared, it's duration having run out).))

The goons continued running towards the shades.
's just what they were doing.
They didn't even see the dragon, and the sounds of things getting wailed on were totally commonplace right now.
Alternatively, #014 was here for a reason. mad

Hakan, thinking a little differently, was still moving quickly, but hey, he'd been behind Flare, and seeing her not only get hit but slow down...well hey, allies he might not have been much for, but there was no way he could leave a girl in trouble, was there?
And so, as Hakan reached her, he would have bent down and schooped the demon lady into his arms...wincing quite a bit at the strain on his hurt shoulder, but still running quickly towards the fortress. And still likely faster that Flare had been moving on her own.
As they swiftly approached thier shelter, he couldn't help but grin some at the demon lady, trying to flirt. He had no concept of the right time and place.
"Well, hello there."

V slowly crept into the chaos of the battle and crawled on his stomac to where he could get in the water silently. V hopes he would not be notices by any enemies and he silently moved through the ruins trying to make his way twords the peices of the damn that had been lodged together to form a bridge.

What else do you expect her to do?
Veronica had absolutely no protection in this kind of situation that she could think of. If she had thought about it enough, maybe she would have gotten a bright idea and done something.
But this being her, that was not happening, and she just hauled a** after Hakan, Sunny, and Flare. At least she was a pretty good runner despite the pounding headache going on.OOC Not paying full attention at the moment. So if I do anything blatently stupid, just message and inform me of it or something, and I'll correct it as quick as possible.

((Alright. Gloves are off. So then I can assume the positioning is something along the lines of this right?  Black speckles and circle is the ruins, fortress is the square. Dam/bridge = brown Green is dragon, which dove in from the Sunrise river, so its facing North or northwest. Red dots are the scattered UGH soldiers. The soldier on the Dragon's right is dead with Stryphe standing atop the body right?))

V saw the dragon and in short, was scared shitless. He froze for a second as he sat in the water looking at the dragon before he shook his head slightly and moved silently through the water. His scarf was wraped around his head making it hard to see him, as it blended nicly with the water. He made sure to always have a grasp on one of the ruin structurs as he moved in the water so that he was no swept away. As he finaly got to the bridge he dared not to get on but rather began to cling to it for dear life as he pulled himself along the side of it out from the current conflict at hand.

If he succeeds, he lives and is able to find cover? Judges?)) (My first instinct would be to say no, but then again I can't say I'm completely unbiased, so I hesitate to make it a decision. It just seems like taking a shot at someone who said they'll be offline for a little bit is kinda...unfair.)

((Stryphe is in a situation where he is now forced to use the "run like hell rule." Miner faction gets half points for defeating him, he can't post again for three hours.
