Namek got shoken up I don't know how many times during the fight with Frezza. Hell the wole planet started to become unstable due to all the abuse. Altough that amittably probably had something to do with Freezer cutting the wole freakn' planet in half...
And as for the Superman isn't as fast as Goku but can still see him thing...it doesn't matter if you can see your opponent if you can't keep up with him. Take for example Star wars revenge of the sith, when the clones turned on the jedi, and it shows a few jedi's getting shot to death. Now, Jedies have foresight, they know where they're about to be attacked, which allows them to keep up with lazzers and crap. But the Jedies getting shot were being shoot too manny times too fast for their bodys to react. The same thing would happen if cartoon Superman fought Goku. Supes can see Goku and possibly predict where he's going to attack, but Goku would be punchin/kicking him too many times at too many places too fast for Superman to move to block them all.

Ha! I was just just jokeing around when I said that. Superman would't have to block all of them just the ones that would do serious damage. Goku's stamina won't last forever where as Superman can take anything Goku throws at him and still get up. Once Goku starts to tire Superman will be able to keep up qiute well and begin to wear him down further.

Because there is no way he can. He CAN'T block them, even the important ones! He can see them, and know they are important, but he simply doesn't move fast enough. His mind may know what to do, but his body is not fast enough.

Superman would do just fine. As many styles of fighting Goku has learned he keeps on doing the same punch kick combo repeatedly Superman would get wise to the pattern and find an opening when that happens he starts to get a few hits in as well. I'm seeing it turning into what happened in the fight between Cell and Goku after a period of time. With them each exchangeing what they've got. Also Goku can run out of Ki. When that happens it won't be to hard for Superman to pull the win out.

Yeah, Goku run out of ki? Try another 40 years. Lol, This is an arguement often used. My question? Show me one incident, saga to saga, that ACTUALLY uses the same series of punches, kickes, etc. I almost guarantee you, you won't find one. The first barrage will subdue Supes, he will recoil, allowing Goku another one. Rinse and repeat.

The first barrage of the fight would be in regular Saiyan form. Guku would run in and get a barrage himself of very powerful punches from Superman. He'd only touch Superman in Super Saiyan 3 form. Thats assuming Superman gives him the luxury of powering up.

Sorry Rikeen, didn't know I was hitting such a sore spot. I made me quite sad as well...er, not that it actualy happened. Altough it was awsome when the clones tryed to kill Yoda and got pwned. X3 Don't mess with Yoda. 3nodding
And as for blocking the major hits...it still won't save him. to once again use an example, and hopefuly one that won't depress Rikeen this time, once, in Ranma(can't remmber what volume), Ryoga got a huge endurance bost and Ranma's punches could only do the slightest bit of dammage to him, but Ranma won by reppediately hitting Ryoga whist punching at a speed of 100 punches per second, which eventualy wore Ryoge out.
And you make it sound as Superman never gets tired or injured. At the very least the latter can happen, as it happened it him in one JL episonde where the gladator champion guy blackmails Superman into letting himself get beat up(I can't remmber his name, he looked like a clone of darksied), and he is going to be severly pounded and injured by the time Goku gets tired.
