meorria oh, yum... my dad's side of the family is pure norwegian so christmas time we always have lefse and all kinds of other weird norse treats. heart oh and the marzipan pig (for those who don't know, its a weird kind of candy, shaped like a pig), which isn't really tasty, it's just a family joke whee I like marzipan pigs... ^^ Where in Norway is your father from? meorria lalawen_the_shadowbane erm...what's lefse? sweatdrop lol i have this one friend that's always talking about how he likes to freak his mom out with "norwegian deathmetal"...is there a lot of deathmetal there?

as for the deathmetal, yeah... i think deathmetal and stuff is a lot more popular over there than say, pop. i mean... Apoptygma Berzerk is topping the charts in Norway, when they're only popular in the US in a subculture of dark kids and club kids. (they're an ebm group - electronic darkwave kinda? hard to explain)Well.. There's not -that- much death metal here, really.. surprised It's just.. The death metal bands are the only ones that are known outside the country.. At least that's my theory.. ^^ But ~ to say that deathmetal and stuff is more popular than pop music: That's very, very wrong.. whee I haven't heard of Apoptygma Berzerk.. eek sweatdrop I don't know what kind of charts it's topping, but.. At least not the ones published in newspapers and regular music magazines.. yeahyeah.. >_<
