SkitsOverburn i got a question about Phonix Lords are they lord choices or just replacements for warlocks in each squad? 40K doesn't have lord choices You are thinking fantasy. Pheonix lords are special characters. This means that they take up a HQ slot (and whatever else it says). They are also Indepoandant Chars unless noted. Thus they can join a squad even if they have a warlock.

Yahiko_Meoshine Me too. I want them to come out with something new. Well, it would make sense, wouldn't it? Even if they don't actually make new models (although a new avatar model would look cool), maybe they could do some weapon upgrades. For instance, why not more power weapons for a race that is supposed to be far more advanced than most (not including Tau, Necrons, etc.)? Dark Eldar basic troops would on a 2+ after the added points are figured in, and they are in need of an update more than the regular Eldar! Alternatively, the main focus of the Craftworld Eldar is the "Path of the Warrior" a.k.a. the Aspect Warriors. If anything is done, I'd like to see it with them more than anything else. Maybe making them even more deadly (considering their point cost compaired to other specialists), like allowing striking scorpians to deepstrike or something...... twisted

Yahiko_Meoshine Can anyone tell me if they are coming out with a new Eldar codex? rumor has it that they are making the codex Eldar, cover Dark Eldar, Craftwrold, and Harliquins. Also the rumor has a bit to do with new figs, I am not sure if it is a complete overhaul or not, but I knwo the DE weren't canceled, the set was just discontinued

I'm sure they'll remake all the army lists, with the exception of the newest ones out right now like DH, WH, Space Marines (coming soon!) and Necrons. The next one I've heard they are working on as of right now are the Tyranids. From what I've heard they'll be remaking Dark Eldar, Eldar and Orks, though don't quote me on it.

The Eldar are very good if you know how to handle them. I usually have 2-3 vypers with the crystal targeting matrix and a bright lance/starcannon. I also always have a trusty firebase to support the more fragile guardian squads (those are deadly, specially Ulyhwés black guardians).

What I don't get is why Eldar have guardians...if they are so few in numbers why do they have a force of true fodder that can fire a gun? It just doesn't make sense to me.

The Guardians are actually the ordinary Eldar on the craftworld. They do not trian for war as the Aspect Warriors, but just live thier life. In time of war these eldar are employed as the guardians, this because of the few troops eldar can muster. They are practically worse trained than an imperial guard, but they must fight for thier craftworld.
