Enyalius tilted his head slightly toward Jaukk, and spoke. "So, what is up between you and Maybe? I have never heard of a pair like you before, doesn't the demon usually attempt to break the master's control and kill him?" He rubbed his paw over his eyes. "Although I am speaking from a position of insufficient knowledge, really." He shrugged. "You don't really seem all that evil to me..."

Maybe walked into his room and began to rummage through his things, pulling out two small boxes of journals. Nodding his head, he then began to look around. He knew he had a couple of Mikkael's journals... but where had he put them? Oh dear... he hoped he hadn't lost them.

"Master's control? What type of bullshit is that. I do work willingly, if I feel like it. The only one with any sort of control is me, I established that to Maybe." Jaukk said gruffly. At the cat's next words, he simply snorted, where as most would try to 'prove' they were evil by attacking him or something. The fact that he remained so composed was uneasy in itself. The only thing he offered was a growl, the wings upon his lower back twitching lightly as he closed his eye. "The vampire's may have taken a liking to you, and they may want you to learn their little history, but I could really care less about your existance, and I'm not so easily entertained by telling anyone about my kind. Keep your nose where it belongs, cat."

"As I said, I have insufficient knowledge to ask a logical series of questions. All I know comes from mythos, and all is probably most terribly distorted. I wish to learn the truth. It is my goal in life, to learn all that I can." He smiled. "You convey a good deal with your actions, you know. Although I may be reading your body language entirely wrong, I have no benchmarks. As to your second statement, I don't know why they have seen fit to deal with me well either, but I never pass up a chance to learn or make friends. Curiosity is the one thing I have in almost limitless quantity, I am afraid."

(Here I was waiting for Andie to post. mad d ~Dummy~)
Jaukk snarled lightly and continued to lean against he wall, not one for really sitting on beds or chairs. It made things too easy for someone to think that it would be okay to get physically active - something that was NOT okay unless he initiated it. "Whatever, cat."

Enyalius grinned at Jaukk. "You seem to expend quite a lot of effort in your counteractions, you know. I also notice that you seem to have an aversion to people coming too close to you. Interesting, really." He looked at him, probingly. "I wonder, why do you try to avoid questions so intently?"

Jaukk opened his eye and simply stared at the cat, "If you didn't ask so many I may answer." It's true, Jaukk really wasn't all that bad, but he was cruel and unusual, and rather evil. Questions were avoided simply because that lead to someone knowing about one, which meant someone getting close. Close lead to physically touching in more affectionate ways than he pleased. It was simple: Jaukk liked sex, not 'love making.' Relationships were simply pitiful and pathetic, not because he had his heart ripped out before, but because he just did not agree with them.

Enyalius stood up and walked around more or less aimlessly, hands folded behind his back. "It is an interesting conundrum, is it not? You do not answer questions, which leads to more questions, then you use the proliferation of the questions as a reason not to answer. Very good plan, actually." He turned an ear toward Jaukk. "Lets keep it simple, then. Why do you not wish to answer any even remotely personal question?" He asked the question with an inquisitive sparkle in his eye.

"It's not a plan, it's the truth." Jaukk said in a grumble before looking back at the other, quite annoyed. "They're personal. They're none of your business. They're not worth answering. Good enough for you." Growling softly, the last part was said as not a question, but rather a blunt statement.

"Hmm, ok, that's valid." Enyalius paused walking for a moment, rubbing his chin. "Let's go with something a little less personal, then. Why are you here if people annoy yo so much?" He tilts his head to the side, an expression he seems to favor, trying to puzzle this - demon? - out. He tried to read Jaukk's body language again, but the annoyance was blocking anything he could make out.

"Entertainment. Mild curiosity. It always results in overall annoyance and a migraine." Jaukk said simply, his annoyance staying at the same level. He really didn't express himself through body language much unless he was being sexual, and this was not sexual. Far from it.

"How beautifuly ironic... Curiosity motivates both of us." Enyalius chuckled dryly. "Although you have a bit of an advantage on me, you have a lot longer to satisfy your curiosity. Being a mortal is really not too good in terms of knowledge gathering." He resumes walking around. "You don't seem that bad of a person, really, certainly not what I would expect from a demon." He taps his chin with a finger. "Although neither is Maybe, or Mikkael what I would expect from a vampire. Interesting how many things I assume wrongly..."

"I have no reason to torment you," Jaukk stated gruffly as he continued to lean back against the wall, "And if you don't watch your neck you'll have eternity to be curious and an official bed partner to a mosquitoe." Jaukk smirked deviously as he closed his eye.

"Then you certainly have a long patience span, most people I have met would have at least thrown something at me by now." Enyalius chuckles as he walks. "I don't really think that is much of a chance, although I really don't know how this works." He touches the two marks on his neck, the healed results of Mikkael's mark. "Mikkael marked me, but he apparently has a life mate now. Who knows what the future holds, though." He trails off, his mind wandering down an odd path.

"Mikkael has marked many. You weren't really hoping that he would have chosen you as a life mate, were you?" Jaukk pushed off of the wall and walked behind Enyalius, fingers reaching out to brush coldly, cruelly against the bite marks. His touch was far worse than Mikkael's or Maybe's, even the two combined. It was as if he sent tiny shocks of hatred through the cat's body. "They're vampires. They have no hearts, they toy with mortal emotions with certain glee. True that Mikkael has found himself a mate, but eventually, he will make him into a vampire. He wouldn't want that beautiful face getting old and wrinkly. A mark is a mark. Simply the reason why I don't torture you. You're not mine to torture. You belong to Mikkael, which means, overall, you belong to Maybe. He is the one you have to watch out for now, no matter how sweet and caring he seems - he's incapable of it."
