SharinganGirl i'v been playing bassoon for a year and a half now. i just decided one day that i wanted to play it so i got the instrument and a fingering chart from my band director. all he said to me was good luck. ahh, those were the days... lol...I'm probably gonna take after school lessons for the bassoon sometime soon...I wanna play it and we need a better bass section anyway

My BD offered to teach me bassoon after school for free. I don't even have to pay a rental fee for the school bassoon because I'm already paying a rental fee for the oboe. 3nodding We just got a new BD this year and he's really cool so he'll be giving me private lessons

eek So many other bassoonists!! I might just die of excitement. I've been playing for erm, six years now. I march baritone horn (euphonium) in marching band, but I greatly prefer my bassoon... I get to play it in the show this year! WEEEEE! whee
