She was a little surprised at his almost-forcefullness, she nodded. "Let's go then, I'm ready." She said, standing up.

Goodwin nodded as he grabbed their few belongings. He then took Arabell's hand and lead her toward the stable quietly. "We need to get out of here as unoticibly as possible." he whispered.

Goodwin propped Arabelle onto her hourse and secured her belongings on his. He mounted and they rode off. They were now heading to the next town. Goodwin would try and stay under the radar until able to assess the situation.

Goodwin seemed nervous, so Arabella was very nervous. She didn't know what to do or say, so she didn't do or say anything while they rode together.

The sun was now beginning to rise. Goodwin made sure that their pase was quick. He felt that something bad was approaching. He hoped that the traitorus forces were not close on their trail. Still, he felt like something bad was about to happen, and he couldn't shake the feeling.

The sun rose slowly as they rode swiftly up a hill. That's when Goodwin saw something, far in the distance. Figures on horse back, approaching rapidly. He recognized the little armor that was visible at the distance. They were enemies, come to cliam the princess. Goodwin hoped that they hadn't spotted them yet. He motioned for Arabelle to follow him into some near by brush, so that she could hide.

She followed him, she was really worried now. She had not seen the figures in the distance... "What is it?" She whispered to him, though she had no idea why she was whispering.

Goodwin lead her behind some brush. "Enemies..." he replied without looking at her. He stared into the distance, watching them draw near. "If I fall, run." he said in a serious tone. He placed his hand on his sword's handle and rode towards them.

She watched in horror as he rode towards them. Idiot! She thought to herself. She waited in silence. She didn't know what to do.
