Reck walked up to the entrance of the cafe checking his job card and figuring out if this was the right place. After afew seconds he realized that this was the only cafe in the village so he went in and walked up to the counter past the crouded tables and asked Yamato if he could spek to the manager.
"Umm, excuse me miss? Im here for the job that you posted. Could I speak to....Taichi is it?"
Yamato: Oh, your here for the job? I'll get him right away then. Hold here for one moment please.
She then went behind a crimson colored curtian hanging in a door way for a couple seconds and came out being followed by Taichi.
Taichi: So, your the one who took the job. As you can see were crouded with customers and not enough help so I'm making you a weighter starting today. Just take orders and serve people ok?
"I got is sir. You can count on me to do the best!"
After talking a little business, Reck moved to the back for a second and put on a weighters apron and grabbed a pad and a pencil then came back out to the front and looked for a table that hasnt been weighted on yet. He spotted one all the way in the corner so he walked over to it. There was only a woman sitting at the table so he took out the pad and pencil and put a smile on.
"Hello miss and welcome to our cafe. How can I help you today?"
The woman ordered a bowl of Mishou soup and a small plate of fried rice so Reck wrothe it down and went back to the front counter and passed the slip to the cook.
"Ok, we got an order for a bowl of soup and a saucer of fried rice. You got anything ready yet for me to take."
The cook then slid out 5 plates of main corces and told Reck to take this order to the table in the center. Common sence told him to ask another weighter for help but he had a habbit of not listening to it so he placed 2 plates on each arm and one on his head manovering throuhg the crouded tables to the center table. When he was half way there, he lost his footing and tripped and the 5 plates shoved off of his arms and head.
"AK!! No no no! I can't..."
Reck quickly got his footing and twisted around catching each plate of food unspilled before it hit the ground. The first one in his left hand, the second one on his right shoulder, the third one on his left knee, the fourth one on his head, but the fifth one went a little farther than the rest so he rapidly hipped on one foot forward to catch the plate and he managed to catch it in his right hand just in time. At this point he was standing right infront of the table just as he cought the fifth plate and he smiled nervously.
"Haha, Was it this table that ordered the 5-plate melee or just the 5-cource meal? Meal? Oh, my bad. Hahaha-haha. Well, here you go."
Reck shifted his weight and tossed the two plates in his hands on the table infront of two people, flipped the one on his knee into his hand and handed it to the next closest person, he slid the one on his right shoulder down his arm onto the table and then bent over and tipped the one on his head onto the table.
"Please enjoy and thank you..."
Reck quickly turned around and went back to the front counter to see if there was another order up.

Reck looked back into the kitchen and saw that Yamato was now cooking and the cook wasn't there. He took afew steps into the kitchen and gave Yamato a curious look.
"Yamato? Where's the cook?"
Yamato: Oh man, he slipped and burned himself badly so he had to go to the hospital and now Im taking over. You'll have to do all the serving and weighting for a while.
"M-me? A-a-all of it? I guess I'll try my best."
Yamato: Good, thats what I wana hear. You just give me the orders and I'll tell you where to serve the food. It's gonna be fine.
Reck turned around and waked to the front for any new customers and a large group with 4 adults and 3 children walked in so he walked up to them with a smile and showed them a free area to the side with 8 seats and sat them all down.
"Ok, now that were all good can I take your orders?"
The adults ordered a large order of fried pork and said that the kids would each have a small bowl of Ramen noodle soup. But just has Reck was about to walk to the counter to place the order, one of the adults patted him on the shoulder and whispered to him "Hey, place a birthday cake on the order and the special placement with it. Thanks.".
"Umm...special...placement?....ok?"
Reck wrothe the extra order down wondering what it ment and took it back to Yamato. He gave the sheet to Yamato and asked her what it meant by special placement and she gasped as she sweat a little.
Yamato: Oh No! The special birthday placement. But...but he's not here. We usually have someone come out with the cake and sing a special birthday song to the children but he's not here today. Awww, guess they'll just have to go with the cake then...
"Wait. Why can't I do it? It sounds easy enough. Come on, give me a shot at it...please."
Yamato: Huff...ok. Why not. Here's the script for the song you need to sing. Study it and keep serving the people and I'll tell you when I'm done with the special order. Now go.
Reck took the script from Yamato and skimmed it quickly but just them she called from the back and had an order for Reck to serve. She passed up 2 plates and told him to give it to the couple two seats away from the kitchen. It was easy enough, Reck took the plates to the table, placed them down and walked away but just as he got back to the counter she had 2 orders for him to fill. She told him to take one plate to the table in the front and the bowl to the table right behind him so first Reck picked up the bowl and handed it to the person at the table behind him then he picked up the plate quickly and turned around but he imidiately realized that the plate was scorching hot. Trying not to yell out loud he quickly zigged through the tables to get to the table at the front and even flipped over one to get the hot plate to the table and set it down quickly. He then smiled at the person, turned around and blew his hands hard to cool them down. for the next 30 minutes, Reck was just serving food and picking up checks and it seamed like he had finally got the hang of this serving thing.

Yamato gave Reck a wierd look then smiled at him then patted him on the head quickly.
Yamato: That was pretty good Reck. I'm not sure that the kids would like the old song and dance after that one. hehe. Anyway we should horry up on these orders.
"Yah, I guess so. I'll make it too easy for you."
Reck walked back up to the counter with a slight stride to his steps and walked over to another table and took their order.
"Mmhm...thats one order of rice and 10 pieces of BBQ pork. Comin right up."
He took the slip back to the counter and handed it to Yamato who was just finishing up a current order that was placed.

Kyashi walked into the cafe with bags under his eyes. "Man, I'm tired and I've done nothing at all lately." he said as he sat down onto the decorated seat. After a couple of minutes, a waitress arrived and asked for his order. "I'll have a riceball and a glass of water please" he said with a smile. He put his head on the table almost dosing off again.

About 15 minutes later, Kyashi left his money on the table with a fairly good tip for the waitress. He continued down the stairs into the street and headed towards the academy.

For the next 4 hours, Reck was running back and forth taking orders, serving food, and waiting people. The only reason why he was able to do this work for so long with little rest was his stamina training which allowed him to stay very active or long periods of time. After that, the customer size slowly decreased and it was way easier to serve people. Reck looked into the back at Yamato and whispered to her.
"Hey Yamato. I think the rush is over. Thank goodness, I couldn't have kept that upp for too long."
Yamato: Yah, me neither. Just afew more to go and were done for the day. ok?
"YAH!!! Wicked awesome!!"

While Reck and Yamato were in the kitchen finishing up the cleaning and messin' around, Boss Taichi walked out of his office and walked into the kitchen lookin at both of them with a wierd look then directed his attention toward Reck and grinned.
Taichi: Hey Kid....good job. I'll tell your sensei about this.
After that, Taichi walked out of the resturaunt being followed by Yamato and Reck and turned off the lights. Taichi walked off and Yamato turned to reck and smiled.
Yamato: Know what? This was the most fun I had at work in a while. Why dont you come by some time and get some lich or somethin'?
"Lunch? Sure, sounds good. I'll come by after the chunnin exams and everyone can celebrate after I pass with flying colors."
Yamato giggled, nodded at Reck then walked off to her house.
Reck started to walk home with his hands in his pockets and a smile on his face.
"Reck's mission....completed. 100% baby yah!!"
