 "Oooooh. Ooh, I see." Larxene nodded slowly. She was quiet a moment, paw still on his shoulder. "I, uh, well, what .... I mean, how .... what would help you decide, d'you think?"

Sora lifted Larxene's paw off his shoulder and he turned around, staring at Larxene's eyes. "Maybe a bit more time with you, please?" He smiled a bit, it made him feel better to say that, he didn't know why.

Larxene quickly found herself blushing a little (and wondering in the back of her mind why she was doing that). After a moment, she offered a little nod, smiling as well. "Of course. I'd like to help. I mean, what are friends for, right?"

Sora gave Larxene a bright smile and hugged her gently. "Thanks Larxene..." There really weren't any other words to describe Sora's feelings at this moment other than contentment. He was happy, but still wanted to say more, but thought it may be a bit much to say at this time.

Larxene tensed a little as Sora hugged her, though she relaxed fairly quickly and hugged him back. "Anytime.."

Sora had gotten comfortable in the hug and slowly drifted in his thoughts before realizing that maybe, just maybe, he had been holding this hug for a bit too long. Quickly letting go of Larxene and backing up, Sora laughed. "Sorry about all that. Just a moment of seriousness I guess!" Sora tried to remember what they had been doing here. Oh yeah! "Well should we get back to looking for that map?"

Larxene smiled and nodded. "Sometimes serious is good too. I guess it's important to be, you know, balanced. There was a faint blush to her cheeks at this point; apparently she'd been wondering about the length of the hug as well. Though, she hadn't tried to pull back from it before he did...
"Yes, the book with the map!" she said, nodding vigorously (and glad again for the distraction). "Umm .. there were a few larger books down here by the bottom." The girl walked back over toward where she'd been looking before, then crouched down and tried to tug one of the large volumes off the shelf. It came loose suddenly, and she toppled back onto her tail with an 'omf', chuckling at herself. "Next thing you know, I'll be falling over on my chair."

Sora couldn't help but snicker when Larxene fell over. Soon it turned into loud laughter. "So the great Larxene is mortal afterall, and here I was starting to think you couldn't do anything stupid like me." Sora offered a paw to help her back up.

Larxene took his paw, but didn't pull herself up right away. "Mortal?" she chuckled. "Bite your tongue. Why, I never do anything stupid!" On the word stupid, she tugged hard on his arm, laughing and trying to pull him over.

"You wouldn't? Well then what was tha-YAH!"Sora was caught off guard by the force of Larxene's pull and quickly fell to his knees infront of her, now laughing even harder. "I should have seen that coming!"

"Now you'll know better for next time!" Larxene giggled, pushing herself to sit up again. "Pays to be on guard!"
She pulled the big book up into her lap and flopped it open. It was, as she suspected, a book of maps, but they weren't of the castle. Instead, it seemed to be various strange landscapes, painted in watercolor. "Oooh. Pretty."

Sora got into a more comfortable seating position next to Larxene. As she opened the book Sora smiled, not because of the pretty paintings held within the books bindings, but because of where he was. "Yeah...very pretty."

Larxene smiled, missing any underlying meaning Sora might have been thinking about. She flipped through a few of the pages. "Hey, a beach. I always wanted to go to a beach. Though I'm not sure about my electricity and all that water..." She stared at the picture a few moments before looking over at Sora. "I guess you've probably been to lots of beaches, mighty hero?" The girl smiled as she said 'mighty hero'; it seemed obvious she'd just settled on a nickname, and wasn't trying to be mocking.

Sora laughed. "I've been to a few beaches. I used to basically live on one with some friends." Sora smiled at his new nickname, he wouldn't have thought Larxene was trying to mock him even if she was. "I actually fell out of the sky into the ocean and swam back to my home from there once too! Though I landed pretty close so the swim wasn't that hard. It was kinda fun!"
Sora thought for a moment. "Is there any other places you'd like to go Larxene?"

"You ... fell ... out of the sky?" Larxene asked, raising an eyebrow slightly. She was quickly reaching the point where she no longer questioned if he was sane, but she still wondered about some of the stories. "I guess it's good that you didn't have to swim too far, anyway. I've never been swimming. Or ... at least I don't think I have. I don't remember it, anyway."
She looked thoughtful for a moment. "Hmmm. I 'd like to go somewhere with trees. Really big, old trees. Maybe with moss on them. And some mountains. I think if I was up on a really big mountain, I could do some impressive lightning stuff, you know?"
