My name is Caitlin and I am 15 years old.
I love emo music, from like the actual scene; bands like Merel, Rites of Spring, The Shivering, Honeywell, and Dahlia Seed rock my socks all the way off.
(-^ __ ^-)
Even the whole "emo" style is tolerable; it's just not for me.
What I don't like at all is when kids call themselves "emo" when they act depressed and cut themselves. That isn't cool at all.
As a recovering self injururer living with depression I have been repeatedly insulted because of these people making emotional problems a joke. I have more than once been denied the treatment I need because of this stigma attached to self harm.
So yeah, that is essentially why I'm here.
On a lighter note, I love music in general. I love punk rock (no, not Sum 41, but The Sex Pistols, The Clash, and Crass, just to name a few), new wave, classic rock, hardcore, like I said emo, anyting pianoey, and anything that could be considered "pretty". Go to my profile playlist for a taste.
And that's all I care to mention at the moment.

I'm Mike and i'm 19. My band plays a lot of shows with bands like Emmure and Bring Me the Horizon so theres never a shortage of emo kids there. I don't really have a problem with the music I just hate its followers. I grew up on hardcore, deathcore, metalcore, and every other kind of "core". Since i have a wide range of genres that I listen to I can look at each one subjectively.
So the epic conclusion to this statement is that the only thing I hate more than emo kids...is Hatebreed fans.
Theres not an emoticon for giving someone the finger but if there was it would look like this. nInn

yay introductions ^^
okay im Chris_03fire, my name is Chris ((a bit obvious in my username, lol)) and im 16.
I live in the Philippines and i play the drums and the piano. I like rock and classical music ((yes, i know, they're totally opposites, so sue me)) Okay, some randomness: i like art, i draw really often, i like anime and such, i am not gay, and i like ice cream, specifically chocolate. ^^
i joined this guild because I SIMPLY DO NOT LIKE EMOS, even thought my best friends really act like emos sometimes, but they deny it, so i just back off. I'm not really detesting the emo style, 'cause i like black and such, but not the whole black outfit thingy and no i do not like the 'fashion' of emo with their hands having scars from, *sigh, cuts or slits.
That's all ((yes its a bit long sorry)) and its nice to meet you, fellow guildmates. ^^
P.S. and the only thing that i hate more than the emo people, are the "IM-AN-EMO-IM-AN-EMO-I-CUT-MYSELF-AND-IM-DEPRESSED-ALWAYS-I-SHALL-MAKE-MYSELF-SO-DARN-ATTENTION-SEEKING-AND-I-SHALL-BE-A-STEREOTYPE-EMO!!!!" kind of person.
