Rain!Bow ^Anarchist. I actually do think she is annoying and airheaded, and I dislike her. But that is just my opinion. I don't mean to offend anyone.

Akuba-no-Chin Misa was both talented, and resourceful. She was the only Kira who (Spoiler: Stop reading, now. I don't know how to put spoilers in white so I imagine this message is long enough to warn you that you should look away before you finish the post. Unless, of course, you don't mind spoilers or have already heard about it/read the manga. Read on if you will, then.) didn't die , juggled her "love life", her Kira duties, and her work (With good looks to boot as well.). She was actually, probably, the most innocent of the Death Note users too. Poor Misa was always getting used. Light/Raito didn't deserve her. She may have made some mistakes as a Kira but it's not like Light didn't get outsmarted every so often either. Misa also had a slight advantage that the shinigami loved her, and two were willing to die for her.

{SONATA} -->I think Misa's annoying; but that's what makes her awesome. Like L's quirkly little eccentricities, her devotion to Raito that is sometimes comedic but serves a purpose to the plot, too. And it's weird; you'd expect the fangirl archetype to be in a shojo series (e.g. Kagura Sohma from Furuba; Renge Houshakuji from Ouran High School Host Club), but in this case, she turns out to be the "tragically cute" character (...I like her clothes, too. ^^; ). And even if her intelligence level is far from Raito's or L's (seriously, though, is there even a normal person who has their reasoning prowess?), she still had her strong points. Naive and easily blinded by emotions, yes, but I wouldn't necessarily call her stupid.Winter is on my head, but eternal spring is in my heart.

She looks cool and I like it that she's not one of those completly clueless female characters like in a lot of animes/mangas. But I find she's a real nuissance at times U__U

Misa can be slightly stupid but shes cool. I might be biased cause well my friends call me Misa but I understand her. She can appear stupid for loving a man who obviously doesent love her, but she knows that he doesent care but she is willing to do any thing to get any attention from him. Misa understands whats going on and she she cant help but love him. Ah how fimiliar it all sounds. Its so clear why they call me Misa.

ミ☆ I've only read up to volume nine of the English-language manga, so ...
You know, I can't help but shake that Misa had a Death Note and is an "actress". It would not surprise me at all if it turned out that she was really ridiculously intelligent like Light, Near or Mello and had just been acting as a ditz the entire time in order to get closer to Kira. I suspect her of heresy!

I do think she's kind of annoying sometimes and is, obviously an airhead but I don't hate her guts like a lot of people seem to. :/ She's sometimes the comic relief and she does help the rest of the characters out sometimes. xD I used to think her fashion sense was cool until Episode 31 when I exploded. :/

I agree completely that her fangirling for Light is completely necessary to the plot no matter how annoying it is. Without Misa, there would have been far less suspicions on Light being Kira (or at least one of them.) She did far more to expose him than anything else as Light himself was very effective at covering up the clues he created himself that didn't involve her.

IMO, Misa's character is about as deep as a puddle of mud on the sidewalk.
Misa's role as the second Kira is highly irritating. Her presence was only to be a tool for Light, and... that's it. She trusts Light completely. She's either too stupid to see it, ignores it, or is too clouded by her emotions. This is a common trait among female characters in DN. They rely on the men too much.
D: I honestly don't like any of them all that much. Amongst the few, MelloMisa is my favorite, though.
