actually, it goes like this:
At first level, you get all the cantrips and 3+Int Mod 1st level spells. Then, at every level up, you get 2 free spells of any level you can cast. All extra spells beyond that you have to pay to scribe into your book.

"Yeah, that's right. But I was thinking of the character from Les Bezoux (sp?), and I forgot that all the characters' names refer to a precious gem of some sort. Isn't that neat?" razz

Lazuli is also the sig name that my girlfriend uses for just about anything, also one of my favorite gemstones, and by the way that is a good series I am trying to find my copies, some one recomended it to me so I bought all the books I could at the time, just haven't read them yet >.<

Keliesto And though the Dalelands and Waterdeep are actually listed as seperate places the books do state that Waterdeep is one of the Dalelands main Citystates The Dalelands are north of Sembia and the Sea of Fallen Stars, Waterdeep is on the Sword Coast, nearly on the other side of the World. I've never seen anything listing Waterdeep as one of the Dalelands.

Keliesto Side not for the GM: I was needing to know if it is a Forgotten Realms Campaign then what starting areas are available because we start in a specific area such as Icewind Dale, then it makes no sense to be from Thay, aside from that I need to pick my starting region on the known world, that alters regional feats as well as giving you optional starting package add-ons. also I have to roll my character on pen and paper because I don't have access to the computer for much longer... stupid public library time limit of one hour... so I should have my character done in almost no time The characters are allowed to be from any region. I will work the "why" into the campaign opening 3nodding I'm not to picky about stat generation as long as you don't try handing me 5 18s wink

Ok, I'm going to make sure all the characters I have sheets for are listed in the Play Thread. If your character still isn't listed it's because your sheet wasn't viewable, or I couldn't find it due to the mess everyone made of the sheets thread (you know, there IS an OOC thread) rofl
So if you're still not listed in about 30 min or so, repost your sheet here and I'll get you in. Anyone who asked if there is room still should submit a character also.
If you're listed there at least post here once to let me know you are still interested in playing. I think I have a few more characters submitted than room in the game, so if I don't get a response after a while I might replace you with a more active player twisted

Mwahaha. I'm listed. I've decided I'm going to play Blaise in a way I've actually, strangly enough, never played a character. He's going to enjoy hitting on women. Not anyone in the party though...I mean, he's not looking for a relationship, and being stuck with a woman for that long after he's slept with her could just be akward heh. He's just going to be the charming, playboy type...so what kinda check do you think flirting is? Diplomacy? Bluff? or maybe it's just a straight Charisma check.

Gloshuan Ithilgalad I'm there! And still interested! 3nodding stare And Sunset is gonna enjoy kicking ur dude's a** if he trys to hit on her stare 3nodding Like I said, he doesn't hit on other members of the party. Mostly bar wenchs and the like. Commoners are alot easier to impress than another adventurer anyways.
