Hmm, if David Kaye takes the role of Megatron in the upcoming movie question Well, I do not mind, but if he were to be in it, then Gary Chalk should be in it as well.

jaganar Sugihide Londo Mollari Hugo--HUGO WEAVING? Is anyone else as upset about this as I am? The man is a talented actor, but...I really don't think he's Megatron material. I was hoping for Frank Welker very much. I've done my best to avoid nay saying about this movie, but...Hugo Weaving?! Dude, you are not the only who is disappointed on this. I was shock to read the news this. Do not get me wrong everybody, Hugo Weaving is a good actor, but I do not accept him taking the role of Megatron. If the Beast series and the Unicron series have Gary Chalk and David Kaye, then this movie should have Frank Welker and Peter Cullen. There has got to be a reason why Bay's producers pick Mr. Weaving over Mr. Welker.~*screams WTFisGOINGonHERE*~ dude i go the news yesterday , at work , and im like EW, i thought that The Legend was a shoe in ..... dammit micheal first you blew up ALKATRAZ and forced us to watch NC act now this attrocity .... YOU ALL ARE THINKING THIS SO IM GONNA just say it HERE COMES THE MATRIX / LOTR MEETS TF god awful fanart
, this is seriously gonna be a what if SCENARIO when this movie is released to me , HELL ITS A WHAT IF movie to me now. and as far as the MeGa+rOn design is concerned , any one else see a resemblance to the SKYNET Design Man, you sound like you have a total 81+ch fit as the rest of us. Well as long as we 81+ch fit on this, who knows maybe Bay can drop Mr. Weaving and take in Mr. Welker for Megatron.

Honestly, I feel good enough knowing that Cullen will be a part of this. Ok, so Welker didn't make it for Megs. Maybe there was a reason?
Besides, I didn't hear whether or not Welker actually applied to BE megatron for this one. So there may be more to it than that. Who knows?

Megatron was badass in the cartoon... but I'm curious as to how Weaving will sound, especially after hearing him as Mr. Smith.

Well, the only role that I know Mr. Weaving playing a villain was in the Matrix. Too be honest, I despised the idea for Mr. Weaving to take the role of the notorious Transformer.

You can find a second tv spot hidden on the tie in website.
Go to www.sectorseven.org and enter in "fwiffo" as the password. Then doubleclick on the red harddrive in the upper left corner of the desktop mockup that pops up.
The quickchange flip thing that Starscream does from under the bridge is unbelievably awesome. Whatever this movie is, it'll be damn fun to watch.
*edit* the second spot, "Destiny", was added to the other pages with the first.

Now about the eye. I, Optimus Prime, would know if my symbol was being used. The eye looks too evil to be part of the Autobots symbol. That is definitely Megatron. pirate

Having scoured the videos several times, and examined the second site offered, all I can say is eek . . . I like very much. Here I was just wanting to post a single suggestion of whom I would love to have heard as Megs' voice.

Why are all you upset that Hugo Weaving is playing Megaton. He is a great actor. He pulled off the vill bit with Agent Smith, the good side with Elrond and the anarchy mastermind in V for Vendetta. He could most certainly pull off Megatron.

This may be a very unpopular opinion but I'm kinda glad that Welker isn't voicing him for the movie. Welker doesn't have any good "live-action" voices, honestly. It would've sounded too cartoony for a live-action flick.
Welker is still one of the greatest voice actors out there, but he's definitly more of a cartoon kinda guy......well, except when it comes to animals.

Welker is, however, going to voice Megatron in the video game, which is awesome. He doesn't have a good live-action Megs, but as a video game Megs he'll be great.
