As long as you were powerful, yeah it would be great to be a sidhe, but even better to be Unseelie because the seelie are just a bunch of wolves in sheeps clothing.

I feel like I'm addicted to the series now. I finished the third and read the first two chapters (plus the excerpt in Seduced by Moonlight) of A Stroke of Midnight. There's so much I want to talk about but I have one question that stands out most. I'll use white text just in case someone accidently browses here before getting into Seduced by Moonlight. Just highlight..
During the first scene with Merry and Andais, is it made clear that not only is Taranis unable to have children but Andais too is (was?) infertile?
I like the addition of the new guards. I imagine this will make Merry's life more complicated when she finally does get pregnant. What if it's by someone whose general feeling about the whole race is "******** you princess! just not literally!"? Or someone like Abloec? Looks like we're not in Kansas anymore.
I've also re-discovered my love for Frost, Doyle and Sholto! It was good to see Sholto again even though he didn't get much of the spot light. I picked up a new love for Barinthus. And Andais' intentions towards Merry have moved up on the Creepy meter. I'm not sure if I'd want Andais' favor. There's a very fine thread between her ideas of reward and punishment.

It said that Merry had to pay Shoulta for standing behind her in Seduced by Moonlight. I can't wait!!! I have liked Shoulta since the first book. But I want Merry to get pregnant by Doyle. He is the only one who is truly her equal.

I am number two in the holds list at my library. I should get it in the next day or so.
And no, the fact that I use my library isn't specifically becauseI don't want to buy any one book or authors work in particular. It's just my reading habit would be far too expensive otherwise.

OMG! xd I JUST finished reading a stroke of Midnight! whee Don't worry...I won't say anything about what happens for those who have yet to read it 3nodding ...NO SPOILERS...
I love it, but the series is going soooo slowly, you'll get what I mean when you read it. 3nodding
Now I want the next one and it won't be out for a while! crying
Let me know when someone has read it because I want to discuss it!

I ordered my copy the 12th and it arrived the 14th. I haven't started yet, other than the first two chapters on the site. I am going to finish reading the other stories in Bite before I move onto it.
