"Not while I have cheerleading." Jen reminded him, shaking her head. "Not to mention med-school." She said, softly. She hadn't taken the time to think about her college courses, since she'd come back to San Fransisco.

"I guess so." Jen said, with a small smile. She didn't know how much time her schedule would allow, but it would be hectic, and she would spend her extra time with Dan. "I'm going to go talk to one of the doctors." Jen said, kissing him lightly and beginning to climb out of the bed.

"Alright, I shouldn't be gone too long." Jen said, calmly. As soon as Jen walked out of the door, Micheal was there waiting. "Walk and Talk." Jen said, looking for the doctor while waiting for Micheal to talk.

"Okay, I figured you wouldn't go to cheerleading practice, but you've got to at least attempt to go." Micheal said, calmly. "They made you captain." He added.

Jen shook her head. "I don't want to be team captain. I'm only cheering again because of my cousin." Jen said, shortly. "It's none of your business whether or not I go to practice." Jen said, walking faster.

"Jen." Micheal said, grabbing her shoulder. "I'm the one who has to watch you for your consequences, so trust me. This is my business. I care about you. Please, just let me." Micheal said, as Jen turned to face him.

"I'm not going to practice, Micheal." Jen said, with a tone of finality in her voice.

Micheal nodded. "Fine, but..." He trailed off and shook his head. "It doesn't matter." Micheal said, seeing Brook standing over by Dan's room attempting to get Dan's attention. So he kissed Jen passionately, so that she wouldn't see Brook.

Brook walked into Dan's room. "Hey, have you seen my sister?" She asked Dan coily.

Jen pushed him off. "What was that about? You broke up with me." Jen stated, but the doctor had come around the corner and gone, before seeing Jen push Micheal off.

"Excuse me? Have you seen Dr. Sheppard?" She asked the woman at the front desk.

"Figured me out, have you? Good for you." Brook said, with a small smirk. "I told you. I came to talk to my sister, you know do the sisterly blackmail thing. She stopped by earlier today, but what she didn't know is that I tape recorded everything she said." Brook said, handing Dan the tape recorder. "Give it to her for me, would you?" Brook asked with a quick smile, before walking out of room 330.

Micheal caught a glimpse of Brook walking out of Dan's room and kissed Jen again to divert her attention.

Jen broke this kiss, but didn't smack him. "Are you crazy? My boyfriend is here for surgeory, I love him. You missed your chance." Jen said, sitting in the waiting room.

Micheal sat down across from her. "I'm sorry." He said, as he watched Brook orb out.

"Yea, I wanted to know about the surgery you're performing tomorrow?" Jen said, leaving out the fact that she was a med-student.

"The procedure as well as possible complications or risks of the procedure afterwards." Jen said, wiping her lipstick which had smeared.

"How will he be sedated, I know you'll obviously have knocked him out for it, but will there be any other methods used, so that he won't feel the pain when he wakes up?" Jen asked, confidently. She knew enough about doctor language from working as an intern on weekends in New York.
