Xilocent made his voice big and booming, attempting to scare the officers. "Officers of men! You have no business in this place, leave now, or behold my wrath!" He projects a picture of the empty ceiling, allowing the officers to look up, and not see anything.

Many of the men flinched at hearing the voice, the one who had stepped forward was unaffected by it. "You will hand her over now, or we will take you as well." He said in a soft tone. "We know what happened to the other men, we have come prepared."

Xilocent chuckled to himself. "I wasn't here then." He talks to faethor mentally. "Get ready, I'm going to strike soon." He summons his Darkness and Lightning katanas.

Talitha side stepped over to Jay though was cut off by one of the men. "You arn't going anywhere!' He said as he grabbed a hold of her arm. "Except with us!" The man started to pull her away but was stopped as Dakota clamped onto his arm. The man yelled in pain and swing at the wolf with all his might in vain.

A volley of fireballs dissapates the fake ceiling, and Xilocent follows his fire down, spinning and slashing at the officers he landed next to. "LEAVE NOW! Or you all shall die...." Xilocent glared at the leader, his entire body aglow with fire.

The man fell down dead as well as the ones that Xilocent had killed. The others watched with out even flitching. The commander took another step forward, completely calm. "I will ask one more time, hand her over now." He looked down at his hands as he took of his gloves. "I am no fool, especially when after such a dangerous demon as herself--"
He was cut off by Talitha yelling.
"I am no demon!"
The commander just looked at her and gave a small smile.
"Whether you are or you arn't I have orders to arrest you. Now come with me and I will see to it that no harm comes to you." The commander had the appearance of a father figure in that moment, holding out his hand towards her and smiling.
Talitha felt a strange urge to go with him.

*the shadows of each soldier leaped from the ground and grabbed ahold of them, holding them in place* That was your one chance to leave, now you die. *the shadows began choking the life from the soldiers but leaving the commander*

"I've seen you before, and I know what you do to thoge you 'let no harm come to'. You're just like the other maggots I've killed. The first hand to touch her will be the first to hit the floor, and your head will immediatly follow it!" He steps between the group and Talitha. "If anyone wants her, the have to claim her through me first!"

A madalion worn be each sholder began to shine brightly as their shadows took hold of them, as if warding off any magic. The commander ignored all this and kept his complete attention on Talitha. "Yes, just come with me, the wolf can come also." He said, his voice gentle. "We can get this whole mess resolved." He continued to hold out his hand towards her. Talitha was now reaching for his hand, now overcome by the urge to go. Dakota just sat down and watched as if this was nothing to worry about. As Talitha reached for his hand a thin barrier almost invisble surrounded her, the commander, and Dakota.
