shifty_842 Shifty nodded. "Good point. Well then, are you emotionally stable then, is probably a better, more straight forward question." he could see alot of things in her eyes. It reminded him of the last real friend he had. The pain in his eyes were much worse though. She quietly chuckled to herself at his question."I have been through a lot in my 18 years of being alive,not as much as some yet more than others. I am not sure what I am,if what you're asking is am I able to cope and live with what has happened to me,then the answer is yes. If you mean do I want to then the answer is no.I'm thinking you mean the first so to put it simply then its a yes."She looked down,the images she had seen of her dead soon to be sister in law flashed before her eyes again and she struggled to hold back the tears that she had held back for so many years.

Shifty laughed a little and then seeing the expression on her face change, his, too changed to a more serious tone. "Well be thankful that in your 18 years you haven't been haunted by some of the things I've seen in my 16." he said, hoping that might help.

Jadice mearly nodded at his responce,wondering about all the horrible things he had apparently seen in his lifetime. "That many things that were that bad,huh? That has to be horrible to live with,the images popping into your head at the worst points sometimes."She choked back her tears remembering a time when she was in the middle of a serious fight and the images had flashed before her eyes. At that point she didn't believe in sadness and all of the emotions she felt at seeing those images had converted to just one,pure rage. She remembered the look on her friends face when she had attacked him all out,and the image of the fear on his face flashed into her head,followed by the images of herself sitting by his side for the longest time,hoping he would be alright. The last image that flashed before her eyes was her last of him,how he had jumped infront of her to save her from arrows being fired at her and his body lieing on the ground covered in them when she went back to look for him. She was no longer able to hold the tears back then,she lowered her head and silently let them fall,trying to control her shaking.

"Yeah. Going to hell does that to people." he said, not joking. He had infact died and gone to hell for what he did, but was revived. As he saw her start to cry, he didn't know what to say but he put his hand on her shoulder. "Please don't cry. I'm sure it wasn't that bad."

"I'm sorry,it's just I can't take it anymore. For everything I have gone through,I never believed in sadness,always thought it was for the weak,until someone showed me otherwise. So all I used to ever be able to feel was anger,I hadn't cried since the night my family died and my brother left me. Just thinking of everything that happened,replaying only the most gruesome of the details,I couldnt hold the tears back any longer."She then looked down and shrugged. "Don't bother yourself with having any concern for me,I can take care of myself,I'll be fine."she said,then realised that she might have sounded kind of mean. "Sorry."

A little shocked at the anger in his voice he replied. "I didn't mean not so bad in comparison with what i've do-... er I mean what I've seen. I meant not bad as in you don't seem like an evil person." he could relate to feeling nothing but anger and to losing his family. His own family were the ones who killed him. "I can relate to what you're going through." he said. That usually made people feel better. After hearing her apologize he said, "There's nothing to apologize for. You're upset. If you want, I can leave you alone."

He shook his head. "It's not that I didn't want to do it at the time. It's that I live to regret it everyday." he said. He blinked and saw the flames of a burning village. He opened his eyes, filling them with rage dispair and self-hatred. "But I'm sorry you had to do something like that." he replied.

"Thank you," he said and sat down. He leaned up against a lone tree and started playing his ocarina in the tune he heard from one of the members of a clan he helped destroy, not realizing that was the tune he was playing.

With everyone pretty much on their own thoughts and desires, Takara went back to the window and opened it. Realizing that it lead to an open balcony, so with that in mind she went on out to the opened air and stood there looking out to the beauty she saw in Seshiro's land. Breathing in deeply to the cool air that came off the mountain ahead of her, she recalled the time her and the others were together enjoying a peaceful moment, swimming in a hot springs and Runa with her belated husband and herself with Raven. Shaking her head as she thought back the tears, for now wasn't the time to cry but to be brave and strong. She was so tried of showing her weakness because of her lost, but no more. For now on she was going to focus on training and rebuilding her skills.

As Takara was standing on the balcony she heard a message within her mind, "Oh my...Parth." she whispered as she heard his message. Looking around she searched out for Seshiro but he seemed to be busy and the others as well.. "What am I going to do now?" she asked herself.
