*Her body 'hops' in shock but slowly she draws her arms around him. It was comforting.She lightly squeezed him*
"I missed you Aykon and I missed this place."
*She eyes the building*
"I suppose you should show me the new place, I plan on sticking around for a while, at least if you will have me. How have you been? What happened to the old place?"

*Aykon happily releases and seems overjoyed to see you. He just keeps smiling and his voice is very light hearted.*
I missed you too, Rhodes! You were one of my favorite people from the old days and I hardly ever saw you for a while.
*As you scan the new room you notice a large stage with seating near it and an open area directly in front of the stage directly in front of the door. To the right is a large kitchen window with a bar that leads into the kitchen and several tables nearby it, one of which has some pancakes on it. To the right again but a little past the kitchen is a hallway leading off to the right.
*To the left, you see a very nice bar, two sets of stairs (one to the right of the stage and another a little further left), both of which have empty shoe racks next to them. You will also see the second floor seems to have a complete walkaround balcony that one can walk the entire area of the main room with a walkway and widows*
*Now Aykon nods to you and starts walking to the right of the building, motioning for you to follow*
Show you around? Sure! Wow, it has been a while. This place has been here for about 3 and 1/2 years now. But I would love to show you a room if you are interested in that and you are welcome to stay as long as you would like.
As for how I have been...well, not very good unti recent months. I have been at a war, fighting alongside others like me...it was a 3 year war and very grueling...luckily we were victorious so I came back to this place for a great deal of "time off" you know...forget about all of that...
*Aykon now stops near the kitchen and pauses, noticing his pancakes*
Oh, I want to eat my breakfast...I don't know if it is something that you would like, but I have some pancake dough and can make you some if you are hungry.

Red padded down the stairs as falling back to sleep was now hopeless. She'd spent the last several hours tossing and turning in bed and the few hours she had slept had been tormented by dreams and nightmares. Her eyes now swollen and red, she collapses into a chair, her knife held firmly in her hands. To busy thinking of other things she never even notices Aykon and another woman in the room.

Yes, the war was pretty long...3 years of almost constant fights...had a particular amount of trouble by a guy named Felix Maxim but he is dealt with. So you are being a V lapdog? I suppose there are much worse things you could be doing with your family...I assume you will want the same restrictions on your room if you were to choose one? *Aykon pours himself another glass of water and pours one for you*Well, to be honest, there really aren't any other guests. Since you are an old friend you can have a normal room for free until business improves. You never know, you just might want to work for me. That would be fun! But I should not that down the hall behind me... *he points to the one that leads to the right of the main lobby*...has three VIP rooms, my office and Nikki's office and actually two people are using some of those, one is your old friend misguided Nisso and the other is an altogether agreeable man named spike despite the fact that he isn't too friendly, he isn't really rude although he was at first. *Aykon then points to the stairs directly to the left of the stage althought they are technically to the right of your current view*Those stairs lead to one group of rooms with the hospital on the end and the ones directly to the left of that stairwell lead to the second and third floors, all of which are empty rooms. If you want a room you can take your pick from any of them. Of course, you discard your shoes at the shoe holder on both so if you stay on the thrid floor you have two floors of tatami goodness that will be greeting you. *Aykon now finishes his pancakes as he had been eating them in bites between his speech and finishes his glass of water*And if you want a room you can pay me, it is the usual 10G a night or 65 a week and you can pay in monthly subscriptions and save more only 250G for a month. Of course if you work for me your room is free of charge. What would you like to do? It would be nice to have you around again!

((Do recall that I said that we have fast forwarded three days so everything that happened in the garden just happened last night and if you are padding around you must have soft shoes! smile )) *Aykon looks over to the strange faced Spike but decides he had best let him be but hopes he heard the good things he said to Rhodes about him*Morning Spike...

*Hears the other person enter, and can think of no great way of responding. The knife in the hand made Rhodes think twice about her greeting and wasn't even sure if the person slumped in the chair would even want to be bothered. She gave a small nodd and a polite...*
"Hello.. I'm Rhodes."
*It was the polite thing to do. She grinned lightly showing that she meant no harm then directed her attention back to Aykon*
"Three years is a fair amount of time to be fighting old friend. Be lucky it was not longer.Your new place is very nice.. seems similiar to the original. Which is definitely not a bad thing."
*The women draws in a deep breath and lets it out slowly as if calming herself. Thoughts of her servitude to the Venture clan swirled in head. She had left them without warning tired of the several hundred years of hunting and bleeding for the slowly failing cause. She had needed a break no matter what pentalty may await her if she should return. With no where to really call a home the vampire went to the only place she felt welcome.*
"I would love to work for you Aykon. And my restirctions.. well I suppose I would like to keep them. No maid service and you are the only other person allowed to enter. I think those were the only two limits I set."
*Her left hand itched a small spot on her mop of brown locks.*
"A third floor room would be wonderful. Do they still have balconies?"

Well, I tried to keep the elements I liked and also take out the less desirable features. This place is everything good about the old place as well as some new nice features. It is also bigger. *Aykon nods solemnly about the war time but keeps a pretty good dispostiion*Yeah, the war was long and it still is not completely over but it isn't as bad. Third floor it is and yes, private balconies are still with each room.

Hearing the voices for the first time she looks up dazedly in their direction. Squinting she tries to focus on their forms before they finally comes into sharp contrast, in fact to sharp as she reels back in her chair.
Gahh.
Closing her eyes again she tries to get rid of the images and cool her head before opening them again and looking at the new girl. Grunting in recognition she looks back down at her knife and gets lost in thought. Before a loud grumbling can be heard coming from her stomach.
I should probably eat something.

((ok Im just a little confused with Becca's char. Aykon keeps reffering to it as "he" and Becca says "she" which is it?))
*Her head bobs in understanding*
"I used to be reclusive too... still am a little. As for the building it you've done a great job. It still retained everything about the first one that made it feel like home."
*The room Aykon offers seems to be the best luck she has had on the long journey here. Although setting her start date on a job somewhat bothered her. Yeah she just left her clan's servitude but it wasn't like that with Aykon. It was an offer not an order and she wouldn't be reprimanded if she refused.*
"I could start whenever Aykon. Just being in this place is like a vacation, like a warm fuzzy memory. And when you are willing I'll be happy to take a room."
*Her eyes dart back to the person who had come down, the weird grunting and grumbling noises alerted her. What if this person was dangerous. But the fear shortly subsided, Aykon who not allow dangerous or harmful into the building, unless it was a damn good reason.

You don't really have to work as there really is not a specific need. What would you like to do? We need pretty much all positions...there are maids, cooks, hospital workers and hostesses...if you tell me what one you would like to do that would be awesome and if you are wanting to I will be more than happy to show you a room. Red decided it was best to take him up on his offer, the last thing she wanted to do was raise suspicion, but nothing that she could eat here would satisfy the hunger she felt now. She needed to change now and hunt soon. The last time she had was right before she had run away from home, and that was three months ago. While she had been traveling she knew she was going to have to again, but had hoped it wouldn't be so soon. Sometimes she hated that she was so young. The older one could hold their shape practically indefinately, but she still had some time to go before she could do that. So for now she'd have to sneak away in the middle of the night and change.
Sighing she walked over to the counter and picked up some pancakes before digging in. Sweet food weren't really her thing but for now it would have to do. Maybe she should just tell Aykon she needed to go for a day or two at least then he might not be to suspicious. Yeah, she'd tell him that and nothing more. Resolving herself she got back to eatting her pancakes.
