The Theif of Always Kilayla made up her mind to ask Theif about getting her a musical instrument. "Soco?" she asked after a moment. "Do you think it would be okay if I came to see your library?"
Soco, Malachite, and Adrian all jumped at the gun shot and stared up at the man who announced the winner of the next catagory. At Raissen's name, Malachite cheered loudly -- but not so loudly as to draw too much attention to himself.
Adrian just clapped and smiled before settling back in his seat. Although he'd been encouraging his boys to go out and be friendly, he prefered to sit back and watch the happenings around him. He stayed quiet and sipped his drink, watching as more people entered the mansion.

Kitty smiled and clapped for the next winner. " Im sorry you dont get to see him very often, im sure that'll change soon." She hoped it was since it was hard to see the boys get upset over that kinda thing.

Adrian thought he heard Malachite mutter some unhappy comment under his breath and reached over to give the boy a pat on the back. "Now, now," he reminded him gently, "there'll be other awards."
He then glanced up as he heard his name called. He smiled and waved at Catzi and her friend, wondering if he should go to them or expect them to come to him.
Soco clapped more for the maids than the announcement of the winner.

Slipping inside Mei headed for the back, going to lean against the wall farthest from everyone. These things usually weren't his cup of tea, but it was quite the event and couldn't resist at least coming for a few minutes. Glancing around he immediatly spotted some of his friends, though remained silent and did his usual lurking.
