TAPS baby (( they are once a week but we are understanding that people have lifes)) ((And/or lacking in the computer/internet department :p )) Garland claimed to have eaten sparingly, yet the mound of food that had once been upon his place no longer existed. His wooden plate melted into the table, no longer needing to be cleansed. Once finished, the earth elemental made his way to the training room, where he began practicing his morning 'kata', a series of martial arts movements meant to help focus one's mind. Upon finishing, Garland would take up his staff again, continuing his training with his favoured tool.

Sanding the wood of her new instrament was time consuming work. It was obvious to her that this project would take day if not weeks or months to complete. But oh it would be worth the work when she was finished. The wood was warm beneath her paw like fingers and gave off a comforting eathy energy dispite the fact that it was no longer part of a living tree. Carressing the surface gently she felt for any areas that were uneven or rougher than the others and then picked up her sanding stone once more.
It was soothing work and she found herself enjoying the time she spent.
((Opps! I just realized I had her start on the sanding right away and never actually cut the wood. We shall assume she cut it into shape first. xd Or if nessisary I can add that as a flashback.))

((Dont worry about it, you could have her comment on how tedious it was to cut the wood to the proper measurements and leave it at that, rather than an unnecessary flashback. I'd make a post but I'm not supposed to be online.))

It took a long while but when she was satisfied that the wood was smooth enough she gently set her work down she stood up with a yawn and a streatch. Gathering her tools and unfinished project together she set it aside in a safe place where it wouldn't be harmed and then decided to head off for a good long workout to ease the cramped muscles she had earned from all of her work.
Padding lightly over to the exersize room she began a slow set of exersizes. To cleanse her mind and spirit.

Across the excersize room, Garland twisted and twirled, his staff flailing about in a blur. Several kicks were issued to thin air, half using the attack to balance and right himself. After another series of movements, the Earthen fluffy ceased his training to watch his sister perform her own varient of centering excersizes.
Dropping his staff into the floor, Garland made his way closer, stopping once within about twenty feet of Airlia. She had no doubt noticed him when she entered and had taken him as too busy to greet at the time. That had been true.
A few more moments of watching, and Garland bowed, beginning his own slow set of martial arts movements. These were his own Kata, that he performed before and after the use of his staff. Might we train together, sister? his mind echoed, leaving the thought open to be heard in her mind should she wish.

((You arent as bad as the owner of the water elemental, who at this point should no longer be due to lack of RP. I'm sorry, posting only once in an attempt to keep the pet, is far worse then how long its been since you posted. She was the original paying owner. *mental note to PM someone about that*))

((*blinks* Actually at this point I can scarcely believe no one has still posted..))
*Time warp!*
Garland Kneeled before the statue of Byiajah, his now rune-covered staff lain upon the ground between them, in silence he prayed. Much had he learned, and much had he yet to learn. Long he had wandered the mystical woods, testing the limit of his power, pondering the gift that was given to himself on his kin. It was their destiny to protect those who were their lesser cousins.
After a time he stood, retrieving his staff with a flick of his left foot. Turning, he strode toward the kitchen, as he was rather hungry now that he had returned..
